What I’m about to share could happen to you too — and I don’t want anyone else to go through what I did. In May 2024, I bought a 2024 KIA Sorento from this dealership, trading in my Jeep Cherokee as part of the deal. The contract we signed clearly stated that the dealer would pay off my loan balance of $15,278.00. However, they only paid $14,980.33 — leaving a difference of $297.67 that I had to pay out of pocket. A direct violation of the signed contract! Since then, I’ve been to the dealership dozens of times. I spoke with the salesperson, the finance officer, and three different managers. The result? Empty promises. Lies. Wasted time. And not a single cent reimbursed. No one takes responsibility. But that’s not even the worst part… 🔧 During the first maintenance service: • They didn’t properly secure the engine cover, which bounced around under the hood while I was driving. • The engine was left covered in oil, and the interior was stained — the steering wheel and driver’s side door were smeared with grease. Zero care or professionalism. ⚠️ Life-threatening negligence: • During that same visit, they didn’t tighten the lug nuts on one of the wheels. I was driving on the highway with loose tires. It could’ve ended in a deadly accident. 💰 And now, the most outrageous part: • This week, I paid again for an oil change and tire rotation. I had marked the tires beforehand… and confirmed they NEVER did the rotation — but they charged for it anyway! This is the second time they’ve scammed me like this. How can anyone be sure they’re even changing the oil? I strongly recommend you take your vehicle to a trusted mechanic immediately to check and avoid major damage. This is not a mistake. This is a systematic practice of charging for services not performed, breaking contracts, negligence, and disrespecting customers. 👉 If you’re thinking about buying from KIA Miami Lakes, think again. ⚠️ You could be their next victim. 🛑 DO NOT TRUST this dealership. At the time of purchase, the vehicle had only 19,000 miles—a nearly new car by any standard. However, what followed was nothing short of a nightmare, and most importantly, a series of life-threatening mechanical failures that have not only compromised our safety but also shaken our faith in the dealerships and manufacturers responsible. On May 4th, while driving home through a busy and dangerous intersection, my wife experienced the unthinkable: the vehicle completely shut off in traffic, placing her in immediate danger. She was terrified, stuck in the middle of the road, and had to rely on strangers to help push the car to safety. This traumatic experience could have ended in tragedy. The next day, May 5th, my wife returned to Toyota of Hollywood to report the incident. Shockingly, the staff showed no willingness to inspect or assist with the issue, citing that it was a GMC vehicle—even though they had just sold it to her. Instead, the car was taken to a GMC dealership on State Road 7, where we were told after three days that the vehicle had been repaired. Yet on May 14th, disaster struck again. The car broke down in the middle of traffic for a second time, once more placing my wife in harm’s way and leaving her emotionally distraught. Despite her fears, she sought another opinion and brought the vehicle to Chevrolet of Miami Lakes on May 15th. They assured her the issue was resolved, returning the car to her on May 16th. Tragically, just moments after leaving the dealership, while driving to pick up our daughter from school, the car **shut down again—**in traffic. For the third time, she was stranded, panicked, and unsafe. On June 1st, after even more time in the shop, we were told the car had been driven all day by a technician and was "good to go."
