Service Department is completely incompetent. 3 wks ago went to have a warranty item replaced. After 4 HOURS I was told they needed to order a part, even though they knew ahead of time why I was bringing the car in. 2 weeks later Service Advisor calls to tell me part is in and we schedule the appt. I went today, drove 40 mins to get there, waited outside by my car in the heat 15 minutes before anyone even said hello. Then I'm told I'm not on the schedule. Complained to the service manager and she said she would get me in. THEN I find out the part isn't even there!! I asked why did Service Advisor call me to make appt and tell me part was in - no explanation. Went back to Service Advisor and gave her update. Told her I was xxxxxx and this was totally unacceptable. All I got was ... "oh i'm sorry". SERIOUSLY??!! No offer to help me at all. So I said "I'm done and I'll never come back here." What a piece of crap service department! Also, I have an extended warranty which I mentioned the first time I was there and the Service Advisor said I didn't have one. I said yes I do - she finally found it. Ugh!! What ever happened to customer service??

It was a very unprofessional and expensive experience. Not only did they not fix the issue, they actually made it worse with their bumbling diagnosis. I had a 2017 Hyundai Sonata Sport brought in for diagnosis. The key was stuck in the ignition and it would not move. IN ADDITION: Hyundai had mailed me two recall notices, which I also needed fixed. The service department then analyzed and charged me $359 for the 1- hour diagnosis, even though it included supposedly also-covered recall notices. Then the technician BROKE THE FOB KEY OFF in the ignition during the analysis. I’d been very careful to not break the key off before bringing it in to King Hyundai. This is a very expensive incident. The estimate was for $1800 for a new ignition cylinder and keys for ignition only. The key they’d broken was the sole key I had for the doors, so they’d ruined that. So now I have no door key! The service supervisor Greg (no last name given) said on a supposedly recorded line, “Well, the key would’ve broken eventually anyway, if not here then somewhere else.” Wow, he admitted it and would not accept any financial responsibility for it. Greg said the $1800 fee would only cover the new ignition and ignition key, not the King-Hyundai-broken-fob key that he said would cost an additional $600. They break your stuff then charge you for it! After about 20 phone calls to actually speak to Greg, he finally agreed to lower the estimate to $1250ish, but still no resolution for the fob key. Very expensive for those items. That plus the $600 for the broken fob key would amount to a total of $1850! Outrageous. I declined the high estimate and had to pay a $150 fee to have the Sonata towed back to apartment where I’ll have a reliable mobile mechanic fix it for much less. And Greg refused to lower the ridiculous one-hour $359 “diagnosis fee” during which time he broke my solo fob key. So I had my vehicle towed out after spending $509 ($359 plus $150 tow) to have the car in worse shape than when I brought it in! They did fix the four recall software updates, which is a free service anyway.

I'm very sorry to hear about your experience. That is certainly not the impression we want anyone to leave with after visiting our dealership. I would appreciate the opportunity to learn more about what happened, including why you weren't able to see the vehicle you came in for. Please reach out to me directly at your convenience so I can look into this personally and see if there's anything I can do to help make things right. Mark Benne General Manager
They were professional, non-harassing, polite and relatable! I simply decided to purchase an automobile from another dealer. The car was simply out of my price range.

They show A price of 18,500 for a vehicle but then load on approximately $5500 in fees and refuse to budge from the price of those unnecessary fees that add nothing to the Vehicle. Don’t waste your time they put a false price up.

I have purchased 3 new Hyundai vehicles from King, including a 24 Palisade for which I bought the extended warranty. I took the Palisade in for road noise and irregular tire wear with only 17,000 miles. The service rep, Greg, was very dismissive and condescending, blaming it on my driving (RUDE) instead of looking for a resolution. Note, I have always followed the recommended service schedule, and inspections done at those visits never identified any issues. I tried following up with the service manager, customer satisfaction rep, and general manager, but no one would respond. Today, I went to Coconut Creek Hyundai where they rotated the tires and aligned the front end. Problem resolved. Coconut Creek gained a new loyal customer. My advice: Steer clear of King Hyundai.

Super high dealer's fees and dealer installed options. Car smelled badly of smoke. Manager said he could get it out but didn't yet because they just got the car. However, online price history said the car had been for sale for over 3 weeks. Sales person talked about a shampoo they could use. Manager talked about ionization. So two different stories. I walked out. They didn't even try to wave any of the dealer installed options like ceramic coating and door guards.

General Sales Manager Erik Slemon and his team have made King Hyundai an excellent place to purchase your vehicle. Absolutely 5 Star worthy. Unfortunately, the service department is not nearly as good when it comes to customer service.

I made an offer on a vehicle they were selling back on February 10, 2026. I'm still waiting on a response to my offer. The silent treatment. Tell me yes, no or even make a counter offer...but tell me something. Very poor communication. Sincerely, an online buyer.
