Let me start by saying my salesman Chris has been

Let me start by saying my salesman Chris has been outstanding. I have bought 2 cars from him and he has been extremely helpful. The service/warranty department has been a nightmare. At the end of September 2023 I bought a certified pre owned Pacifica. In October 2023 I started having issues with the radio and apple play not working. I have taken the vehicle in at least 3 times and the issue is still not resolved. They replaced the original radio with a radio that does not have the apple car play app installed. I have tried explaining that to them and the response I get is I have to wait for an update. They have been telling me for months to wait for the update and they still can not tell when this update will come out. They tried to tell me the issue was with my phone but when they tried hooking up a phone from one of the workers at the dealership it still did not work. During this process I have called the Service Manager James multiple times and he would not call me back until I called the General Manager John Gross. I have called Mr. Gross multiple times as well and have gotten no response. It has gotten to the point where I had to contact Chrysler directly and they suggested I take the vehicle to a different dealership for a 2nd opinion so I am making arrangements to take it to a dealership in Tampa. If you buy a car from them pray you do not have any warranty issues.

Service gone bad

Not sure what's happening over at Firkins, but customer service has gone way down, and service can't be held to an appointment time, or even day. Started our Monday evening trying to drop off our car for service, and being accused of trespassing on private property by a security guard. Dude - we're in vehicles that are on brand, what do you think we're doing here? After having to schedule 2 weeks ahead, had an appointed time for Tuesday, but got the call from the Service Manager to report they were unable to get to our car - then what's the point of an appointment? Wanted to hold the car until Thursday when they thought they might get to it - days later, seriously folks? Told the manager we'd be in to pick up the car - call was mid-afternoon. We had an unexpected appointment of our own come up, and we rushed to it, believing we could pick up the keys from the receptionist as long as we got there before closing time. Wrong! Receptionist had all kinds of keys from other cars, but our key was locked in manager's office because we didn't come mid-afternoon to pick it up (sound like a scammy way of saying they intended to just keep it overnight anyway). We have the Dodge and Chrysler products, but we will be looking elsewhere for service going forward.

Mixed

I was happy with my salesman Brett. He was very kind and patient t with me in the buying process. After signing documents I’ve emailed with no response to a couple questions, typical probably. My major issue is the detailing. Yes car was used. Car is fantastic. Detailing company needs lots of help. One hour cleaning ( inside car) and on the surface looked great, but as I’ve discovered in days to follow many missed spots. Again no complaints with vehicle (hopefully for a long time) or the staff while buying the car.

Do not buy nothing from this place.

One isn't even a good enough star for this place. Thursday Jam 28th 2021 I had a 1:40p.m. appointment. I dropped my car off that I purchased from them to get it serviced, warranty work done, and to get the car appraised so I could trade it in on a brand new Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. So when I go to drop the car off the guy in the service lane acted like he didn't want to even help me because he was not the service writer assigned to my appointment. Ken the guy I was supposed to meet wasn't there because I was about a hour early but figured it wouldn't matter because I was just dropping it off. So when I drop it off to the other guy I tell him that I need a service, tires rotated, balanced, check the alignment, get it appraised so I can trade it in, and that my screen in the dashboard had a stress crack, that I would like them to fix it under warranty because I purchased the extra warranty (Bumper to Bumper) that they sell you when you buy a car. So I'm trying to tell him all this and show him the crack. He is standing outside of the car not even listening to what I even have to say because I'm apparently inconveniencing him from whatever he needs to be doing besides his job.. So I go on about my day later in the day Ken calls saying that the car is ready. He says they couldn't warranty the dash because the other guy says it has scratches on it. I told Ken that it is not scratches that it is cracked the other guy never even listened to me or looked at what I was showing him. So I told Ken about my experience when dropping the car off and he said that they wouldn't charge me for my visit because of the way the guy treated me and not looking at the dash. So I go to pick the car up, meet with Ken. They have not appraised the car so I can do the trade in (When the paperwork they gave me says to do the appraisal) that never got done. Then Ken tells me that they are cracks in my screen not scratches but they will not cover it under warranty. Then Ken takes me in to meet a new sales person to get a appraisal. Then takes me to the checkout where he didn't stand behind his word on covering my service that day. (No big deal the money isn't the issue it's the point) when you tell someone something you stand behind it if you want my business. So then I get my keys and have to wait for the salesman to take my car over to the pre owned lot to get an appraisal (after its been there from 12pm until 5pm) so now I have to wait another hour in person there for some other person to do an appraisal on my car. So car was there from 12pm to 5pm and I have to wait another hour for this appraisal in person. Which this is all good. Because they lost the sale of a brand new vehicle that is $53,000.00 which capital one had my loan pre approved already and everything was set to go. Which is really sad because when I purchased my current car there the owner Mr. Firkins was there himself and the customer service was excellent. Now the whole place is different and nobody wants to work. They don't stand behind their word. The warranty is a joke. I just want to take the time out of my day to encourage every single person that is looking to purchase a vehicle to go somewhere else. They are not customer service friendly and very lazy. I will be telling everyone I know about my experience. I wouldn't have even given this place a 1 star if I didn't have to click on something to write a review. For sure -5 star from me.

The best dealership with whom I have ever dealt.

I have never dealt with a dealership that was as professional and thorough as Firkins. The deal itself was difficult as it was for my son who is in the Army Airborne stationed in Italy and during the sale was transferred to Alaska. Other dealerships I approached did not want to be involved as there were many obstacles to overcome including a 14 day quarantine period that my son had on his arrival to Alaska. I taught sales and was actively involved in selling product that could easily reach $100,000 and without too much effort, could reach a quarter of a million. The staff, including Hunter and Jason, in finance were incredible. Not once did their efforts waver on a sale that took almost two months. These folks were tireless and knowing full well it took up much too much of their time, I can only be grateful that they followed through. I know where all my future automobiles will be purchased. Thanks, Guys. You are definitely a cut above most. Jim Wilson

New truck options

My husband and I had an opportunity to visit Firkins Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram 3 days ago as we were looking to purchase a truck. Our sales consultant Shawn Clarke did an amazing job of informing us of all of our options, we were able to take a test run in one of the trucks that we were looking at as well as receive information about the brand as a whole. Shawn did an exceptional job assisting us from start to finish. We are forever grateful and had a wonderful experience and plan to recommend the dealership to all of our friends, family, co-workers and more!

New truck options
