    Called after lunch today to check if the Volvo XC60 was still for sale. He said yep, looking at it right now. I mentioned that I had bought a used car there before and would like to come look and test drive the Volvo. He asked for my name and said it looks like you had Willie as a salesman. He put Willie on the phone and we scheduled to meet him after work, around 5:30. By the way, we live about 30 miles from the dealer. Willie was waiting, said he needed to go inside to get the keys. About 7 minutes later, he comes out to tell us another salesman was on a test drive( in a different car) and had the keys for the Volvo. After another 10 minutes, he shows up with keys and myself, my wife and Willie go for a twenty minute test drive. As we pull back into the lot, we let Willie know we are interesting in making a deal. After we park and are looking the car over, another guy shows up, puts a hold sign on the car and said he got a down payment from someone in Tennessee over the phone that hadn't even seen the car yet. I asked what's going on? That I had called and arranged with Willie to help us and we were ready to go inside to close the deal. The short guy that put the hold sign on the car started laughing and said, "I tried to tell Willie, but he didn't listen." Funny thing, I think this is the same guy Willie got the keys from, and he never said anything about having a hold. Tell me why you let us check out the car and tell us it was a good deal. When we got there, it was parked out front with all the other vehicles that were marked "manager's special". You yanked the car out from under us while we were on a test drive. The worst part is you tried to make Willie look like a fool by laughing at him. And when I asked the short guy how he could pull the car while we were on a test drive, he just put that snarky smile back on and said "I got an over the phone offer." This is how you lose repeat customers. The only way I'll ever step back on your lot is if you give me the keys and say "This car is on us. We're sorry for your last visit." Truly a waste of out time. Seems like a customer on the lot should mean more than a customer over the phone.
