Bought a 2018 pilot in 2019 at Procter Honda.

Bought a 2018 pilot in 2019 at Procter Honda. Good deal, service ok (kinda cold), had car serviced at Bay Honda, service is unorganized slow and not customer oriented (prices too high, they try to sell you stuff you don't need) heard about Skinner in dothan. Called them about service really nice. Service was fast, customer oriented and ended up less than what they quoted. Very Happy customer, thank you.

Everyone was extremely helpful especially David Hernandez

Everyone was extremely helpful especially David Hernandez our Sales Consultant. Be sure and ask for him when you get ready to buy or trade. Also, Shane Hendrix, Sales Manager who kept “sharpening his pencil” until we came to an agreeable figure. The whole team made the nerve wracking (to me) process a very enjoyable experience. Honda Pilot is a winner!!

Was stranded on the side of the road trying to figure out...

Was stranded on the side of the road trying to figure out where to tow my Honda after a fender bender. I called the service department and was told the manager would call me back within 15 min. An hour later they still hadn’t called, so I called them again and was put on hold for 15 min. They were rude and told me they couldn’t work on it without even knowing the specific issue. Really glad I didn’t have it taken there now after I read all the poor reviews. *Also, Honda roadside assistance never showed up to tow us. After they told me someone would be there in 120 minutes, I waited over two hours in the hot Sun with my daughter only for them to call me back and tell me there is no one in my area that can tow me. No one in Dothan? After a google search, I found someone to come tow me to their repair shop, and they were there in thirty minutes. So Honda roadside is is worthless.

Nothing but issues.

They cannot do the simplest of things. I had an oil change and tire rotation. They did not do the tire rotation and they did a poor job on the oil change to a point which I had to replace the engine. Then one of the service employees kept hanging up on me.

2017 Certifed Accord

Asked if the car had been wrecked was told no. Found over spray inside door panel looked up the report it said different yes for the wreck. Find this out after I had bought the car and they still denied it! Then I get to really looking at the paper work ( should have looked closer before)and they had tacked on a extended warranty that I didn’t need for $1,534.00 in the finaniceing I demanded everything back the owner could have cared less then he threaten to whoop my xxx (old guy🤔) finance guy wouldn’t even look at me? But I ended up getting my trade in back and paper work but you can’t trust these crooks at all then Steve Hatcher the sales guy said he had never looked at the car report (now they sale cars for a living really) then about 5 sales guys are waiting in the parking lot around my truck calling me names which I don’t think I can say on here and threating me unreal!!! Because they lied and stoled money from me I guess I should be ok with that very very bad exsperince please go somewhere else!!!!!!

Thief of property

Traded a Dodge dually for a car, which took about three hours. They called to sell truck before we left to which I had a fifth wheel hitch in it. I told them and man wanting the truck I would return next morning with help to remove hitch, cause It didn't? go with truck. I needed it for my fifth wheel. They let man have it anyway after they were told up front. This is thief. Beware.

Best buying!

No hasseling. We drive over an hour away to come by. Tim got us a great deal and Robert had our financing done super quick! This was 100% better and faster then our previous dealer. We ended up with a new civic & Tim took the time to go over each feature and set up our car for us. We would highly recommend you go see them to purchase a new car. Fast & Friendly service that was well worth the drive!

Liars

If you purchase a vehicle from Jim Skinner, purchase the Gap Insurance then down the road decide to trade in the vehicle and ask for the prorated gap insurance premium they will out right lie to you. I guess they think its coming out their pocket. This is not how you do business with your customers. I wouldn't buy a bicycle there.

Skinner is an appropriate name

Took my Honda Civic in for a front brake repair, and managed to escape with my wallet intact. Just a horrible experience that would have been much, much worse if I hadn't been retired from the auto/auto repair business. I had a pretty good idea what the problem was and discussed it with the writers who didn't seem to be very interested in doing the repairs from the start. I have a Honda extended warranty, and after I called their customer service, they said that if my diagnosis was correct the repairs would be covered. The service desk at the dealer immediately started to discredit the warranty as a scam. I left the car in hopes it would be covered by Honda...expecting that that wasn't going to happen. The dealer called with an estimate of a nearly $1100 repair, and the warranty wouldn't cover it. They had included parts that the warranty did cover, and that weren't needed for the fix. They didn't even have the parts in stock, and it would take another day to get them. I talked to a well known indepentent repair facility in Dothan, and explained the symptoms with the Civic. They concurred and gave me an estimate of about $400 if my diagnosis was correct. They went with me to retrieve my car, and drove it back to their shop. I recieved a call early the next morning that my car was done and ready for pick up. I took the rental car back, and went to get my car. The final bill was $278 as the repair didn't require the parts we had epected. I have put over 1000 miles on my car since, and all is well. The final bill was 1/4 the dealer estimate. What more can be said. If I could rate this facility with zero stars I would.
