This dealer ripped me off. I was out of state buying a car off them. They sent me a car that needed $1,600 worth of work coming off the trailer from their lot pretty much once it got up here they wrote it off cuz they knew they had me. If you're buying out of state from this dealer I wouldn't recommend it

I am reaching out to report an ongoing consumer issue involving Sam Boswell Honda in Enterprise, Alabama, that raises serious concerns about vehicle safety, transparency, and customer treatment. I drove over five hours to purchase a vehicle from Sam Boswell Honda, believing I was buying a safe and reliable car. Unfortunately, from the very first day, the vehicle has had major mechanical failures. On the day I received the car, it shut down due to a fuel system failure and required repairs. I was without the vehicle for nearly a month. A few weeks after getting the car back, it shut down again. Sam Boswell Honda sent representatives to Louisiana to retrieve the vehicle and inspect it at their facility. I was later told that nothing was wrong with the vehicle. On December 15, I noticed a large puddle of oil leaking from the car. I immediately took it to a Volkswagen dealership near my home for inspection. Volkswagen found over $1,000 worth of issues, including missing bolts, an incorrectly routed belt underneath the vehicle, and a battery that had been replaced but never properly programmed to the car. I was also informed that the vehicle showed signs of having been previously wrecked. I contacted the owner, Mr. O’Neal Boswell, and explained what Volkswagen found. He dismissed their findings and stated that the Volkswagen dealership was lying and only trying to take my money. He maintained that the dealership Sam Boswell Honda used said nothing was wrong with the vehicle, which directly contradicts Volkswagen’s findings. Due to repeated breakdowns and ongoing safety concerns, I asked Mr. Boswell to buy the vehicle back. He refused. During our phone conversation, he recorded the call without informing me. I only became aware because my phone alerted me that the call was being recorded. While I did use profanity at the end of the conversation out of frustration and fear for my safety, the issues with the vehicle and the lack of accountability remain unchanged. This vehicle should never have been sold in this condition. Had Sam Boswell Honda properly inspected the car especially one that had been wrecked many of these issues could have been identified before resale. This experience has caused financial hardship, emotional distress, and ongoing concern for my safety. I believe the public deserves to be aware of how this situation was handled. I am willing to provide repair records, photos, and documentation upon request. Thank you for your time and consideration.

We live in another state, but we traveled to Sam Boswell Honda to purchase a pre-owned 2018 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon that was advertised online. We worked with our salesman, Jeff and the general manager, Josh. They were both professional and worked with us throughout the purchase process. Jeff is very outgoing and willing to answer any questions. After traveling several hours, Jeff was there waiting for us to arrive and had the Jeep ready and detailed. We are pleased with our purchase at Sam Boswell Honda!

Recently I purchased a 2026 Honda Ridgeline at Sam Boswell Honda. The overall experience was outstanding, and my salesman Mike was super to deal with - a solid 5 star experience. He was courteous and knowledgeable, and quick to answer every question that I had. The purchase was smooth and easy, and his communication in every step of the process was excellent. The only reason I could not give a full 5 star overall was due to a couple of minor paper work problems encountered but nothing horrible, but enough to be able to say a high 4 overall. However, Mike's service alone was top notch and I would definitely ask for him if you are buying from here.

The one star is for the service department that Sam Boswell in Enterprise Alabama has and Derrick is the guy over the technicians and he don't hold his techs accountable for messing up vehicles and wants you to pay more money toward services being done that they messed up on but denies it because my best friend took a vehicle in and left with more problems than she arrived then was denied of the technicians causing more problems to her vehicle and wanted to charge more money for services to be done and had attitudes about how they didn't cause anymore damage to her vehicle.Meanwhile missing work and kids appointments going back and forth to Enterprise and this is the 3rd time vehicle has been in their care within a 2 week period and wanted it back a 4th time til finally said she wouldnt be charged for the last service and for her to not bring the vehicle back since we don't trust his techs but the attitude after asking to speak to Josh the General manager and the owner of Sam Boswell was uncalled for so I wouldn't take anything to get worked on to Sam Boswell til they put different ppl in charge and different techs. Then the Mackenzie girl at the service department desk also comes with attitudes when being asked to speak to someone higher in charge which was Josh the GM due to the ongoing problem of my friend vehicle and kept making excuses of what Josh was doing,so I personally walked onto the sales floor asking for Josh and he was in his office as if he was so busy but wasn't so instead of y'all personal feelings to one another next time please be more professional about the customers concerns of their vehicles.

The staff, especially the salesman Kenny Jackson, was very courteous, yet professional and helpful. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming and made us feel very comfortable. They worked with us to get the best deal possible. We left completely satisfied and will be referring any of our relatives and friends in need of a vehicle to your dealership. Thanks again!!
