I’m not one to post bad reviews out of retaliation or just because someone was rude to me; however, my personal experience after purchasing a used KIA Sportage in Oct 2024 from McConnell’s dealership was very disappointing. The very next day after the vehicle was shipped to my home address, I took it for a drive, and it overheated. I’m talking about 5 miles drive. To make a long story short here are the details, the coolant overflow had a leak, so I had it replaced. That was not all, the vehicle overheated again, and the local mechanic found out the head gasket was faulty and had to be replaced, so I was 4 weeks without a vehicle and $3K to get the vehicle running. I reached out several times to McConnell’s dealership staff by e-mail explaining the situation and no one responded, not even a courtesy phone call. Today, 30 Jan 2025, I called the dealership, and I asked if I could get Mr. Eddie McConnell’s e-mail, and I was told he didn’t work there and hang up on me. So, folks, I hope you don’t have such a bad experiences as mine but be aware!

Wasted a few hours of my day driving over there.
Wasted a few hours of my day driving over there. Nice F150 in pictures but it needed tires, it had a misfire, paint was ok, and the AC was clicking something awful. Salesman was like, oh it just hasn’t been used in awhile that’s why. Ok bud. Steer clear of this dealership.

I bought a 2013 Jeep from McConnell in April 2021, I also
I bought a 2013 Jeep from McConnell in April 2021, I also bought the three year extended ccx warranty. They have had my Jeep for 3 weeks and claim that they can't get the part to fix it until 3 more weeks. The part is readily available on the Internet from dozens of vendors. They have not offered me a loaner vehicle, they are not customer friendly and they are being not helpful. They claimed that the battery was bad, after I charged and checked the battery before it was taken back to them the 2nd time. I've been a customer of this Dealership since 1977, and I have purchased dozens of vehicles from them in the past. They are not treating me right and making things impossible. I'm angry and disappointed in how they treat their long time customers.

We're sorry to hear you are not satisfied with our level of service. We understand you are frustrated but can assure you we are doing everything we can to help with your situation. Since we are a Buick GMC franchise dealership we don't have access to other manufactures special tools needed to completely diagnose and repair your vehicle, which is why we typically don't attempt repairs on Non - GM model vehicles. However, since you had a poor experience at the Jeep service center we did attempt the repair in an effort to satisfy your concern. Our parts access is limited to certain suppliers and franchise dealerships, thus we are not able to order aftermarket parts from various online sites. With that being said, we did offer to install the part if you were able to supply it to us. As you are aware we have also attempted to help facilitate the service repair with the local Jeep dealership in an effort to help with the repair process. Our goal is to do everything in our power to ensure you are satisfied, I'm sorry if we have fallen short in this situation.
