had a very frustrating experience with John Hinderer Honda when returning my leased vehicle. On March 3rd, I brought my lease in for return and specifically confirmed with the sales representative that I would receive equity from the vehicle and that there would be no restocking fee. We agreed on an amount, completed paperwork, and they took possession of my car that day. Weeks went by and I never received the check. When I called, multiple employees had no record of my vehicle or the money owed to me. Thankfully, I kept my paperwork. I eventually had to go into the dealership myself, where I again was met with confusion before finally being issued a check. The issues didn’t stop there. A month later, Honda Finance billed me for a payment due March 15th—even though I returned the car on March 3rd. I later learned the dealership didn’t report the vehicle as returned until March 30th. Because of their delay, I’m now dealing with billing issues that shouldn’t exist. On top of that, I was later charged a restocking fee that I was explicitly told I would not owe. During a recorded 3-way call with Honda Finance, a dealership representative stated he would take care of the issue and asked where to send the payment. After the call ended, he contacted me directly and said he would not be paying it. I am now working with the BBB, the Ohio Attorney General, and Honda Corporate to resolve this situation. This dealership is extremely disorganized, lacks communication, and does not stand behind what they tell customers. I would not recommend doing business here

The 2 stars is sales only. My fiance & i were looking to buy a ridgeline. Last week, we went to TRY to test drive 2 ridgelines we saw. The sales lady we spoke to acted like we were wasting. We made very clear that we there to test drive. She told us we could SIT in a ridgeline. We felt like she wasn't going allow us to test drive. We quickly got up & walked out. This week we went to columbus honda dealership in & bought our 2023 ridgeline from there. She missed out on sale!

We agreed to a price and they switched it in the paperwork and I didnt catch it. Sold me the car for 30k when msrp was 28k so they could keep my 2k down payment. Shady people. Also took over a month to pay off my car and didnt give me full payoff like they said. I had to make a payment on the car I traded and the car I bought bc they took a month to pay it off. Be careful and read everything if you do go here. There are better places though. Dont take a chance on these crooks

Horrible experience they underpaid for are trade in acted like was mistake. Did multiple alignments on my mother's car she only put 20k miles on it the tires had psi of 38 on passenger side 24 psi on driver's side. Car lost power on highway which they laughed at putting my 81 year old mother in danger. Charged $300 for sparkplugs and had work order in my hand from them about changing sparkplugs $300 and the fuel injectors for $700 which they didn't replace and had recall for the fuel injectors and had long argument about them needing to replace the fuel injectors and the car had warranty to replace the fuel injectors which was still good for a month. Two months later same thing loss of power my mom calling me scared about the car. So I bought sparkplugs and under one sparkplug coil was pebbles and that was only bad sparkplug! That one sparkplug was black bottom to tip. Not a mechanic and not sure how pebbles get underneath a sealed coil that's held down by a 10mm bolt or how one sparkplug out of the 4 turned black. Thanks alot glad you got 28k for used car and you only paid $250 for a working car betting the 250 dollar car still works fine.

When I purchased the CRV I was offered free tires for the life of the car. The John Hinder dealership was the only one that ever touched this car for service. Earlier this year I had service done and the "Aditional service Recommendations" stated in red requires immediate attention. Tires were made in 2016 and were at 3/32 and tires needed replaced. When I questioned replacing the tires I was told they would replace them the next time I came in. I went in for an inspection this month, August, and asked if there were any outstanding things I should have taken care of. I was told nothing except for the tires and did I want them changed. I answered yes and I was told "good they needed replaced". I then reminded them I had free tires for life and things then changed. I waited for the inspection to be completed and was good except for one item that could wait. When I asked about the tires I was told they were good because they were 6/32 in tread dept. In February the tread depth was 4/32 so the tread got thicker instead of wearing out. When I questioned this the service advisor the went and measured again and said " they measured between 4/32 and 5/32 dept. When I asked if they needed to be replaced he answered yes but I had to pay for them. In the report it states" IF RAIN AND WET ROADS ARE A CONCERN , YOU SHOULD CONSIDER REPLACING YOUR TIRES WHEN THEY REACH APPROXIMATELY 4/32 OF REMAINING TREAD DEPT" . This statement came directly from the service department, but they refused to replace the tires according to the purchase agreement. WHEN YOU PURCHASE THIS CAR YOU HAVE FREE TIRES OF THE LIFE OF THE CAR. I will never go back to John Hinder Honda or anything if they can't honor their prior agreements.

Absolutely unacceptable service! I would give zero stars if I could! I have a 2024 Honda CR-V Hybrid Sport-L AWD with just 10,000 miles on it that I brought into John Hinderer Honda for service this week. I had to wait over two hours for just an oil change and tire rotation. When I got my car back, there were greasy fingerprints all over the driver's door panel, steering wheel, screen, seat controls, and hood release. There were also fingerprints on the exterior mirrors and hood. I opened the engine bay, and oil was spilled all over the engine cover. I was able to remove the oil from all the surfaces except for the engine cover, which is now stained. I will not be bringing either of my Hondas back to this establishment. I will, from now on, be going to Roush Honda in Westerville, who actually cares about their clients.
