I have owned BMW's since 1984 and when I moved to Columbus I dealt with MAG. I switched from MAG to Kelly BMW for service and have never been more pleased... with a service dept. Gordon Rhea and the entire service team do everything they can to make the experience a pleasant and positive one. Whatever service is required is explained in detail and typically a loaner car is available. To me, Gordon Rhea is Kelly BMW. He is a great asset to a great company.

I was greeted by the sales manager, Eric Robard as all of the regular sales staff were with other clients. He created a very positive first impression... of the dealership. Eric did refer me to an advisor for my next vvisit. My auto advisor, Bill Reifstick was friendly, patient, knowledgeble, and provided necessary details. I took 3 test drives before finalizing my decision. He was never condescending and was alway helpful. I liked the perk of free hand car washes as long as you own the car. While waiting for my car to be cleaned, I spoke with another customer who had been having her car washed regularly since she bought it in 2004. All service techs were extremely polite and helpful.
Very Disappointed... Brought vehicle in for a leak we had and told them we also had a oil leak. The oil leak they found and replaced several hoses etc.... The original leak we were there for was still going on after we brought the vehicle home. We called service again and dropped car off telling them the original leak was still there. We were told it would be $300 for the inspection again and we called and spoke to the service manager telling him this was not right for the charge when they didnt fix the other issue when it was there. We left vehicle there over the weekend for them to see the leak. They called and told me there was no leak found when after 24 hours of bringing it home it leaks. The manager told me he would split the bill when i went in it was now over $600 they gave me a 600 dollar bill to split and this is not right. 24 hours later the car still leaks heavy.
We dropped off our 2013 BMW to be serviced by Kelly BMW at Easton with minor repairs to an oil gasket. This was determined by the diagnostic testing that... was implemented on two different occasions by the Kelly in house repair. Upon receiving the car back on the first day of usage the car began making sounds and alerted us that there was a problem. We pulled over the car, called Kelly BMW and a tow service to bring it back to their shop. After evaluation it was determined that the oil pump had gone out and the engine failed, a known occurrence that can happen after an improper gasket repair. After discussing it with the service manager and sales partner they offered no accountability for the error and made no effort to remedy the problem. Simply saying it wasn't their fault and trying to get us to spend another 13K to repair what should of never happened to the engine on a car that had no previous issues. This shop does not represent BMW values and makes no effort to satisfy client relationships or take any accountability for their service. They represent the new breed of service which has no integrity and simply keeps chasing customer's money for problem solving. I would not recommend them to anyone for any offering from this branch. It is highly unprofessional and they seem to think there are no ramifications for poor service and accountability when making an error as a BMW dealership. We are forced to seek legal guidance to make the case garner the attention that it deserves and regret any association with Kelly BMW.
I recently purchased a certified pre owned 228i coupe from Kelly BMW. My salesman was John, who is amazing. After a lengthy test drive, it only took about... 40 minutes to do all paperwork and be out the door. Lindsay did my financing, who was also exceptional (and financed me for a super low rate through BMW Financial). The dealership is pristine and super relaxed for such a premium brand. I am very satisfied with my overall experience, and would suggest anyone wanting a new or certified pre owned BMW to come here. Top notch all around.
Been using dealership since 1988, bought 5 cars through Kelly Service outstanding , very reliable, backs their repairs with 2 year guarantee, ancillary... services outstanding, waiting area, beverage and snacks,TV, lifestyle shop, etc
I live an hour away but stopped in and asked the attendant to check my tires as I was loosing air slowly in two and they were low. He showed me I had bubbles... on the side walls, I knew I had hit some terrible potholes this winter so I wasn’t surprised. Besides it was close to time for new tires anyway. They gave me a price that was better than I’ve paid anywhere else so I left my car. I also saw they had a nice deal on a spa detail on their website so I requested that done too. After diagnosing they found I had two bent wheels. I gave them the go ahead. I want to stress that I felt no pressure to have anything additional done, so I asked what they would do if this was their vehicle. In the end I had 4 new tires, straightened wheels, and an alinement done. I was very pleasantly surprised by the cost! When I picked the car up they made me feel like I was taking delivery on a brand new car and it looked brand new! My car has 150,000 miles and it looked and drove like it did when I bought it! This was my first time using them for service and I will definitely be back :)
The dealership associates were pleasant and polite, and the loaner vehicle was much appreciated, but the final bill included a $227 charge for a locksmith... after locking themselves out of my vehicle. I was told that my vehicle "locked itself" and why should the dealership be responsible? FYI...I scheduled the service partially due to the issues with door lock unpredictability. It was not explained to me that I would be responsible for the locksmith fees. Imagine my shock when the fee was actually included in my total repair bill that went over $1000. I would really like to recommend this dealership for BMW purchases and/or repairs, but at this time, I cannot. CJ
CJ- Thank you for your kind words concerning our staff; however, per our previous discussion, I am having a bit of difficulty understanding where we w...ent wrong while serving you. Since the event in question (that being, your car's locking mechanism malfunctioning causing the car to lock itself & become inaccessible even when using the key, which was in our possession at the time of the malfunction) occurred while you were here at the dealership with us, I was surprised to see that you felt the steps taken to proceed with the repair were anything but completely transparent. Upon double-checking our records, I noted that your visit to our Service Department on that day was in part due to that exact locking mechanism issue occurring previously, you were also present when the locksmith was called upon to assist, & you signed an estimate containing all associated service fees including the cost of the locksmith's services which were necessary for us to begin performing any repairs on the vehicle whatsoever. If there is some way in which we could have better communicated our intentions to pursue that course of action with you, then I would appreciate it if you would let me know how we might have done so.
