I was working with this dealership to buy a car.

I was working with this dealership to buy a car. I had contacted them with my desire to buy the car and had financing lined up and was waiting for them to send me the final numbers. During the 2 hours that I was waiting for them to send the details to finalize the deal, they sold the car our from under me. I received no option to or notification that there was other interest, and was not notified until the car was already sold. I would not recommend doing business with this dealership, especially on Cars.Com.

Don't put your hopes into one of their vehicle's!

I finally found that truck that I fell in love with that was actually in my price range that I just had to see. I sent email asking if it was still available and was asked when I wanted to come see it. I said I will come up right now but since it was close to closing time I said or tomorrow. they said tomorrow would be fine. The next morning they said it was taken to repair shop and was not there to see. Emailed a few times to follow up and after a week finally got the email that it was back. Made another appointment to see it and was told the check engine light was on. I asked when i should try to come up next and then told it was sold after trying to see it for two weeks. Don't know how long it will take to find the next one but it will not be here!

The price on the hood is not what you will be paying.

The price on the hood is not what you will be paying. There are hidden fees that were never made clear upfront. Felt like the whole experience was a bait and switch. My calculations of the monthly payment did not add up to what they showed. Plus they quoted one finance rate then the end came back with a lower one when we decided to leave. They never once showed an itemized cost of the car, and we never knew what the actual out-the-door cost was. Wasted 2 hours of my day, never shop there again.

Dealership with Integrity

Purchased a used Jeep from this Dealership last week. I did the deal over the phone / Computer. I was very hesitant doing it without seeing their vehicle and without having a solid trade value for mine. I live in Pennsylvania. Rick Marvin was my salesman and him and everyone else at the dealership treated me very fair. It was a 2-hour trip to the dealership - but worth it.

Dealing with Marhofer Service Center causes headac

Took my vehicle to Ron Marhofer to be repaired because that is where because I bought my vehicle from a Ron Marhofer dealership. It was for a crank sound no start. They had the vehicle for almost two weeks . Up until the last two days the vehicle was there we were the ones contacting them to find out what was wrong with the vehicle also for updates. We had to leave messages a lot of that time. Some of messages they still never called us back on. We had to call multiple times. We ended up paying for a tow at the end of the second week and taking it to another mechanic who knew how to fix the vehicle the same day as the appointment was. The people we talked to at Ron Marhofer claimed they replaced one part and then told us at the end of the second week there they needed to replace another part that was going to fix the problem. They wanted to charge another $1600 on top of the $900 what they originally quoted us. When we had it towed to another mechanic it still had a crank no start but now we had a bill of originally $1600. When I found out they replaced parts that they never told us about they knocked the bill down to just under a thousand. They never fixed the problem.! Why replace those parts then. The vehicle is our main source of transportation and it's been costly every day without a vehicle. If you don't know what is wrong with a vehicle then give it back to the customer in a day or two maybe with a recommendation of where to go to who may be able to fix it. Don't keep a vehicle that long if you can not fix it and just start replacing parts until it works. This was a very costly mistake for us to take the vehicle to a Ron Marhofer service center. We will never use their service center again on any of our vehicles.

Great Experience

Lisa was just great in showing me the vehicle through a video meeting and coordinating the loan application and sale over the phone. The price was the best I found within 100 miles of my home and I'd been looking for several weeks. I only wish I would have had more time for Lisa to show me how to work the various functions in the truck but I was on a tight time schedule. I was invited to call her with any questions I had but reading the manual, I was able to figure things out. Overall, very smooth process and Lisa, again, was great.
