At the service dept on old 83 in McAllen, they left my engine wiring harness loose, it literally was banged up by my tire. Not the service advisor nor the assistant service manager could tell me what the damaged connector was, I had to show it to the parts dept at the dealership. They did not replace it. All they did was put tape on it and secured it with the missing bolts. When I arrived there was no explanation of why it was not replaced, no manager, no service advisor nothing to give me an explanation. They even tried to give me some print outs of a part that was not even the correct one. After a full day of research it turns out that the part is the engine wiring harness a major electrical component and the replacement would have been very expensive. And now I am stuck with the possibility of it having issues in the future.

We rarely write web reviews but this time it matters. We needed a certified used truck for our business to comply with a customer project due date and decided to go to Burns. None of the trucks had gooseneck hitch which was critical for us. The seller ( Edgar ) promised to get us the hitch after closing the deal. He gave us a purchase order to get the part in one of their preferred vendors but they were closed that day. He said that Burns will reimburse us for the expense to get it from a different source so we sent our driver to our client's manufacturing plant location in Alabama were he was able to get the hitch from the dealer. When we sent the receipt to the seller and to our surprise, they didn't honored their word. On top of that, the truck didn't have a spare tire and tools. We were planning to continue purchasing trucks for our fleet from them but with this experience we decided not to.

Jeep Grand Cherokee purchased on Nov 1st 2023, no even 5000 miles on it and has mayor defect on transmission. Still don't know when I will get my vehicle back, and tried to come with a new deal on a different vehicle and I would have to top the negative equity on the depreciation of a vehicle I don't have, not knowing when will I get it back, and I still need to be responsible with my payments. Not asking them to take the blame but if the Manufacturer has a defective product, the should backup the dealership and exchange the defective vehicle. Is funny to se how the sales man was all about we will treat you like "family" and after I do not agree with him, he turned on to a different attitude. Mr. FIDEL has more bad reviews on dealer rater also. Om the contrary Matt from service has been really patient, the only thing is that they don't know what to repair just because it will be very expensive, so they are still waiting if they will change a "valve" or the complete transmission. Talked to the manager and same thing, I'm not expecting to get anything for free or take advantage of anyone, but it will be fare to have an equal deal.

Well I arrived at the Express Line for an oil change and I show them the coupon and the first thing they say we don’t honor that coupon I’m like well is on y’all’s website yeah we don’t excepted anymore, I told him it doesn’t expired til 12/31/2022 so the coupon was for $45 synthetic oil and they were telling me we only honor the $80 synthetic oil. So they don’t honor the $45 dollar one but the honor the $80. What kind of BS is this. I know is a couple of bucks different but saving a buck here and there goes a long way.

Literally the WORSE customer service experience I’ve ever had at an automotive shop. I’m a USAA member and I’m not a local to this area of Texas. I honestly believe this is probably in part to due with my treatment but I’m going to stick to the facts and leave my personal feelings out of it. 1) I called about an auto body Estimate around Aug 15th and the entire day I could not talk to a representative. I keep getting told the representative was busy or unavailable to talk. Keep in mind I called various times within a 3 hour span. 2) The following day I finally got into contact with someone and I was told it was a bit over a two week wait for an estimate. I’m no mechanic but I’m 80% certain I just needed a know wheel fender Flare. Something that wouldn’t take long at all to diagnose, which I was trying to explain over the phone but I understand just because my issue was likely not major, does not mean I take priority over everyone else. I do feel they could have gotten me in early if they truly wanted to 3) I call the day of the appointment I schedule and all the representatives were acting brand new as if they could not confirm I had an appointment. After I got transfer to the SAME person I set up the appointment with initially, she herself tried to tell me that I was making this up! That she did not schedule an appointment with me and did not remember talking to me at all. Only to put me on hold for a second time, right before I was going to hang up to say she now magically sees the appointment scheduled and remembers. That’s frustrating for obvious reasons. 4) Last, I get to my schedule appointment on time and was sitting in the lobby for 30 minutes legitimately without Anyone telling me what’s going on. You’d swear I came in on a walk-in and was not scheduled for a time. After 30 minutes I ask an associate what’s the hold up, why isn’t anyone even respectable enough to politely greet me and tell me issue. And I her a smart-Alec response of “The adjusters really busy”.I don’t you I had been calm, quiet and patient the entire time! I ended up just driving off rather than even illustrate my frustration cause then they would have made me look like the bad guy. I waited almost 3 weeks for a estimate just to be shunned and disrespected. Would have been had this probably addressed if I went to anyone else but for some reason, USAA is partnered with Burns Motors and no one else in this vicinity.
