BUYER BEWARE!

BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!! If could give 0 stars that's what I would do. We were looking for a very specific used Hyundai and we found it at Gettel Hyundai. I live in Northern Virginia but was willing to travel to get the vehicle. We called the dealership several times trying to make a deal but no one seemed interested in talking to me about it. One of the sales managers was incredibly rude on the phone and told me he was too busy to talk to me and that I probably didn't have any business buying a vehicle that was not in my local area. The conversation became a little heated and I ended up hanging up on him, this was on a Saturday. On Monday another sales manager called and was very nice and apologetic, we ended up making a deal on the vehicle and flew to Florida to get it. I clearly should have left well enough alone after the first person was so awful, but I didn't. It's now been a little over 10 weeks since I purchased the vehicle and I still don't have tags or a title. I have made so many phone calls to so many different people at this dealership and no one will give me straight answers. I have had 3 different 30 day tags issued, the first one was dead for 11 days before I received the second one from Gettel and the second one was dead for 6 days when I received third one. That one came from the Florida Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles. It is incredibly frustrating to be paying for a vehicle that apparently I do not own!!!! The last person that I spoke with was on April 4th, and he said he was the finance manager and would look into the situation and get back to me by Monday April 7th, it's now April 25th and he or anyone else from Gettel still has not let me know anything. According to Florida Motor Vehicles my vehicle is still titled to the previous owner in Iowa. I have written to the Florida Attorney General and the Florida Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles. I am at a complete loss what to do at this point, buying a car and getting tags and a title from a dealership should be a seemless process, but this has been anything but that and the lack of communication is completely inexcusable.

I brought my 2020 Venue in to have it serviced and asked

I brought my 2020 Venue in to have it serviced and asked to have the oil changed, cooling fluids replaced and brakes checked. Whenever I applied the brakes after going 30 mph I heard a thump like a small rolling log hitting something. I checked under the seats and in back and nada. Upon checkout with Anthony I asked if anything was found. He said no, all was well with a coy grin. I got into my var and low and behold besides some paperwork there was a small container of Aunt Nellie's beets on the passenger seat. Problem solved By the way the service was on time and well done. Only thing missing was a interior vac and exterior wash which used to be done. I suggest it be reinstated cause a little bit more goes a long way more.

Most everything in the dealership was good and I would’ve

Most everything in the dealership was good and I would’ve returned but for this moron Anthony Uhler. He was a derogatory punk from the start not that he was tolerated. He’s a disgrace to your dealership. The only stain I encountered. Don’t tell me he has a 4.8 rating that’s garbage. His name ain’t mentioned much in them if at all they must be referring to others. He deliberately didn’t rotate my tires and I knew from waiting 1-2 hours to get that and an oil change he was going to try something. It was obvious with his punk xxx and hostile attitude. And he deliberately folded up the receipt hoping I didn’t read it and catch it before I left and tried to have me just sign a top copy for his records with general info. I did scan the few pages he had underneath but didn’t catch he deleted the free tire rotation I had deliberately. I left without catching it and he didn’t mention to me. He had every chance to mention it and he didn’t deliberately. Too busy shooting his mouth off. I called him after I left when I realized it because I knew to check his work, and he tried to tell me he didn’t have time to mention because I was in a rush and was talking over him. I deliberately had told him don’t let me rush you you said two hours ish and it’s well before it. Long story short told him that ain’t true and you had plenty time to mention and didn’t. He was being a punk or trying on the phone also, hung up on him no use talking to him further. They sent me a follow-up from his same service number just after prob being a smartass. More proof. I responded to that as I did all day with his snide arrogant remarks. He told me the tread on the tires in front and back were the same for each pair. Hence, he didn’t rotate because of that. I knew he just didn’t rotate and lied. Or tried to not get found out then did and tried to lie. I called 4-5 dealership all Hyundais and outside Companies as well, not one didn’t say he should’ve rotated them. The two back tires have more tread than front and should’ve been moved to front because front wears quicker and they’d catch up to back wear. He knew that he tried to explain it generally also trying to lie and hope I didn’t catch it. What a piece of ***. His associate Last name was Pacheco was complete opposite only he wasn’t my advisor just checked me in. Prob because this lazy xxx fat Uhler was out eating etc. He was great! This Tony Uhlers his opposite. Don’t tolerate this clown and I’ll never go there again only because of him. You can tell right away he’s trash your blind you can’t. I also went to sign my papers when leaving and this kids so lazy and disorganized his pens were hiding behind his computer and I didn’t see them. Asked him what do you want me to sign with, he pointed to pens hiding. Anyone else would’ve got a pen first off and handed to customer or had it where it’s visible. Not his lazy loud ignorant xxx. He made another smart xxx comment “you can use your blood to sign”. How professionally, this kids A moronic stain on your place. I hit right back at him with that comment he made. Like I did all day with his arrogant mouth. He should be xxxxcanned for that and all else. He was supposed to do a multi point inspection too, wouldn’t believe him he said he did. This guys trash. And you dealership should xxxxcan his xxx. You’ll never get my biz again because of him only and I’ll alert anyone. Furthermore, the lady sitting with me waiting too had this Tony Uhler try to sell her an alignment, some flush job and other useless stuff with her car only having 16k miles on it. He was talking low to her too when I was there explaining it all to her, prob so I didn’t hear his ludicrous sales pitch to her. Everything he did was trash. We were laughing about him after she said no to all to him. A flush job, alignment etc at 16k. That’s dirtbag material. Nowhere close to that maintenance at 16k. This Tony Uhler can go fly a kite, I’ll stand up to him. He’s an arrogant, ignorant slob.

Anthony was great.

Anthony was great. I just wanted to add that the last guy that wrote a review about him being a punk and how rude he was needs to go to anger management classes. It’s crazy to me that you can sit here and be so arrogant to write such a nasty review when the customer was most likely the issue. If you can’t be a nice human being, stay the xxxx home. Thanks for doing such an amazing job, Anthony. I’ll be back to see you!

Well i have to say after buying a dozen plus cars over

Well i have to say after buying a dozen plus cars over the last 30 plus years I found a car dealership that stays true to their word. Not only was this the easiest and most honest group of people i have ever dealt with, but Karl said he woudl follow up and he not only called once, not twice but three times in the past month to see how my Santa Cruz was doing. 5 Stars , 2 Thumbs up, if you are buying a car new or used go to the Gettel Group Thanks Karl

I bought 4 tires and when I picked up the car I was presented with a $2400 estimate for a front end repair. I took it somewhere else and the car didn’t need that repair. Why?
