I called to speak to a specific salesperson and was
I called to speak to a specific salesperson and was contacted by 3 different salespeople before the person I asked for contacted me at the end of the day. After discussing the car of my interest, and supplying Gettel with the VIN, mileage, and a dozen photos of my trade, I was offered a low-ball number for my trade and only an out-the-door price for the entire transaction. I said I would think about it. The next morning I asked for a line-item breakdown of the out-the-door price both with and without my trade. A few hours later I was notified by yet another salesperson (#5) that the car 'had been sold and was no longer available.' How coincidental and convenient. I broke off communication from my end but have been receiving multiple phone calls, text messages and emails every day from the salesperson I originally contacted plus several others I never heard of wanting to proceed with negotiation on the car that was apparently now 'unsold.' Too late. Meanwhile, within less than a week of my initial contact with Gettel, I have found, purchased and taken possession of the identical car from another dealer. The out-the-door price was more than $4000 less than the Gettel price I had been quoted including my trade. Gettel showed me a nice job of how to lose a customer. Enough said.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We apologize for the inconvenience and miscommunication. We need to improve and ensure this doesn’t happen again in the future. Could you please contact me directly? Sandy Ruiz, General Manager, at Sruiz@gettel.com.
I responded to an ad they had on Cars.
I responded to an ad they had on Cars.com for 28K but I was told they do not have any Hyundai Elantra HEV at that price. They said the cheapest price they had was for 32K. It was only when I showed them their ad on Cars.com that they admitted they were willing to "play with the numbers" Definitely a bait and switch to lure foot traffic. Buyer beware

I was interested in a vehicle at this dealership and
I was interested in a vehicle at this dealership and discovered — through my own mechanic — that it had a serious issue at interstate speeds, likely related to the transmission or torque converter. I brought this up to the dealership, and instead of addressing the issue transparently or pulling the vehicle until it was fixed, I was told someone else had an appointment to look at it. In short, they knowingly sold (or attempted to sell) the vehicle to someone else without disclosing the issue. If that buyer didn’t take it on the highway during a test drive, they’d be completely unaware of the risk they were driving off with. This kind of dishonesty is exactly why people hate buying vehicles (used). It’s not just disappointing — it’s unethical. Selling a vehicle while knowingly hiding a major mechanical issue says a lot about their priorities. Clearly, profit comes before customer safety or integrity. Buyers beware. Ask lots of questions. Get your own mechanic involved. And don’t expect honesty here.

My experience at this dealership was disappointing and
My experience at this dealership was disappointing and frustrating from start to finish. The sales process felt like a throwback to old-school, high-pressure tactics—fast talking, unclear numbers, and no upfront information about taxes, fees, interest rates, or lease terms. The salesperson didn’t have accurate information and was clearly not supported by management. I was offered a deal that didn’t start until the next day, pitched as some kind of “exclusive” opportunity. It quickly became obvious that the team was using canned responses and hard-close techniques rather than listening to my needs or being transparent. Despite claiming to be the #1 EV dealership in Florida, they had little understanding of how the $7,500 federal EV tax credit actually works. They didn’t apply it at the point of sale, nor could anyone clearly explain how it could benefit me as a buyer. In fact, their finance team seemed largely untrained and unprofessional—lots of noise, no clarity. Overall, the experience felt more like a scripted hustle than a real car-buying conversation. It’s unfortunate because I was a serious, qualified buyer looking for the right EV—but this was not the place for it.

BUYER BEWARE!
BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!! If could give 0 stars that's what I would do. We were looking for a very specific used Hyundai and we found it at Gettel Hyundai. I live in Northern Virginia but was willing to travel to get the vehicle. We called the dealership several times trying to make a deal but no one seemed interested in talking to me about it. One of the sales managers was incredibly rude on the phone and told me he was too busy to talk to me and that I probably didn't have any business buying a vehicle that was not in my local area. The conversation became a little heated and I ended up hanging up on him, this was on a Saturday. On Monday another sales manager called and was very nice and apologetic, we ended up making a deal on the vehicle and flew to Florida to get it. I clearly should have left well enough alone after the first person was so awful, but I didn't. It's now been a little over 10 weeks since I purchased the vehicle and I still don't have tags or a title. I have made so many phone calls to so many different people at this dealership and no one will give me straight answers. I have had 3 different 30 day tags issued, the first one was dead for 11 days before I received the second one from Gettel and the second one was dead for 6 days when I received third one. That one came from the Florida Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles. It is incredibly frustrating to be paying for a vehicle that apparently I do not own!!!! The last person that I spoke with was on April 4th, and he said he was the finance manager and would look into the situation and get back to me by Monday April 7th, it's now April 25th and he or anyone else from Gettel still has not let me know anything. According to Florida Motor Vehicles my vehicle is still titled to the previous owner in Iowa. I have written to the Florida Attorney General and the Florida Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles. I am at a complete loss what to do at this point, buying a car and getting tags and a title from a dealership should be a seemless process, but this has been anything but that and the lack of communication is completely inexcusable.

I brought my 2020 Venue in to have it serviced and asked
I brought my 2020 Venue in to have it serviced and asked to have the oil changed, cooling fluids replaced and brakes checked. Whenever I applied the brakes after going 30 mph I heard a thump like a small rolling log hitting something. I checked under the seats and in back and nada. Upon checkout with Anthony I asked if anything was found. He said no, all was well with a coy grin. I got into my var and low and behold besides some paperwork there was a small container of Aunt Nellie's beets on the passenger seat. Problem solved By the way the service was on time and well done. Only thing missing was a interior vac and exterior wash which used to be done. I suggest it be reinstated cause a little bit more goes a long way more.

Anthony was great.
Anthony was great. I just wanted to add that the last guy that wrote a review about him being a punk and how rude he was needs to go to anger management classes. It’s crazy to me that you can sit here and be so arrogant to write such a nasty review when the customer was most likely the issue. If you can’t be a nice human being, stay the xxxx home. Thanks for doing such an amazing job, Anthony. I’ll be back to see you!
