Before I handed over my key fob at check in I told agent I have 1 minor scuff on vehicle & this is the last vehicle I will ever be able 2 purchase... (I woke early 2 wash it, even though I have several health issues). I wanted them 2 see EVERY INCH of my Jeep. I also taped a note 2 the service person 2 ask that they treat it like I do. While I waited outside the service person got into it & ,"gunned the engine" 2 the "repair area". The customer next 2 me said " if they do that in front of u, imagine what goes on in the back." I got my 2018 Jeep back with dings down 2 the primer,and dirty. I called the main # for Jeep customer svc. that was a JOKE!! DONT GO TO THIS LOCATION!!
I've used Ron Carter for years for both service and new car purchases, but times have changed for the worse. These days a lot of shopping is done... via internet, and then the purchase is completed in person at the dealer. In my case, the salesperson emailed a window sticker for the car I was looking for, but when I arrived at the dealer to finalize the sale, the car we discussed was "not available". Tony said he had others, but clearly the setup was a deception to trick me into coming to the dealership to sell me on another car. Trickery and deceit might sell some cars, but it's not a good success strategy. Beware and triple check to be sure they really have the car you discussed, so you won't be a victim of a bait and switch.
My salesman Rex Bustamante made buying my new 2014 Fiat 500 the most awesome experience I ever had buying a car. Very attentive to my needs and what kind... of car I wanted. Made sure I liked the car and did not just try to sell me any car. The General Manger introduced himself and made me feel very comfortable. My salesman Rex Bustamante is the best salesman ask for him when your ready for your new ride!!!!!! Loving my new 2014 Fiat 500! I feel like part of the Ron Carter family. Went to get my codes read as my check engine light came on. I was advised to take it to Auto-Zone instead. When I declined, I had to wait then they read... the code. Simply told me the codes. Did not offer a way to remedy them, or put it in their shop. Terrible service, and what kind of car dealership service department suggests you take your car somewhere else???

$237 for oil change, filter change and fuel filter change. When I got home from dealership (a 20 minute drive), oil was dripping off my truck onto the... driveway. I called the service department, thinking maybe they had not installed the oil filter properly and it was leaking. The told me to call my road service provider(not their tow truck)and have the truck towed back to them. I did this under protest, they had the truck the rest of the day. I called to find out when it would be returned and the service person told me I would have to either come to get it or they would drive it to me and I would have to take their driver back to the dealership. I objected, and finally they delivered the truck. No apology, no offer of compensation. No offer to clean the black oil off my driveway.
DO NOT GO HERE! I was conned, deceived, and mistreated here at Ron Carter in Dickinson! I cannot speak for the sales department because I did not go there.... As for the Service department, NEVER AGAIN! Ron Carter of Dickinson service department is, hands down, the WORST service I have ever received. I called several days in advance to schedule my appointment, and when I showed up they had me down for the complete wrong maintenance! After that confusion, I was told I would have my car back the same day, and Wes (the service guy) told me I would have my car back probably the next day (which was not okay considering I was going back to school that same day). I explained to him the exact problem and knew that my warranty would cover it. He then proceeded to tell me that he didn't think my warranty would cover this problem. After further review, he decided that my warranty would cover this. THEN they tried to sell me a $435 brake pad change! I had a coupon for a $99.99 brake pad change and before letting me finish, he interrupted my and said "that's not what you want". Bull. Several hours later, I received my car back to find a missing piece on my gear shifter. I noticed it was missing, so I went back in the dealership and one of the mechanics proceeded to say that the part was missing when it first came in. Again, BULL! The manager was very inconsiderate, and after looking in my car for the missing piece they found it. Hmmm go figure! I had the absolute WORST time here at this dealership and I strongly encourage everyone to take your business elsewhere out of fear that you will have the same problem. I am now having complications with my car from that dealership. And I have never had any difficulties with my car. TERRIBLE, WORST SERVICE!
Rudi was great to work with. He was able to get me into the best model of the vehicle that I had been looking at for several weeks at other dealerships.... He was very patient and attentive to all of questions. Best sales experience ever!
