    I love the car, but am frustrated with dealership communications. This dealership ranks equal to previous service quality experiences, but low in communications.... All advisors are pleasant and well intentioned; however, rarely is a call returned on my original request. I usually must call back once or twice (possibly three times) to get an answer. I am unsure if it is lack of training or time or knowledge. I eventually get an answer which is appropriate or helpful. This is my first Volvo purchase and service experience with a Volvo dealership. I have previous new car experiences and service with several San Antonio/Austin Dealerships which include Saab, Mazda, Honda, Pontiac, Cadillac, etc.

    Jim is great and efficient. He is also great at communicating what is going on with the repair process and provides valuable information. Rocco is pivotal... in ensuring that everything with the service dept. is running at its the best, especially with respect to customer service. I also really appreciate having a Volvo loaner whenever my car is there - thank you!!

    My wife and I visited several months prior looking at the vehicles and were treated like family. Miguel Hernandez took time to explain the features, talk... about what different vehicles could possibly fit our needs, and answered a ton of questions from us. No nonsense, no run around, just complete professionalism and he was extremely knowledgeable about the specifications on the different models and packages. We also worked with their service department and were treated great by Philip Carroll. Honest and straightforward the entire way! That professionalism extended to the entire staff and we felt very comfortable at Volvo of San Antonio. We came back after visiting multiple other Volvo and Chevrolet dealerships because we liked the Volvo XC90 and the awesome experience we had there. Overall they had more options, better service, and we had a better experience there. I have always owned Chevrolet vehicles and it was hard to make the switch at first. After our first visit and seeing all of the features and pricing we compared apples to apples at the Chevrolet dealership with a 2019 Traverse High Country trim level. The T6AWD XC90 blew it out of the water on interior/exterior design, engine performance, safety, and better features. Between the service we received and the amazing vehicle, we decided to use Volvo of San Antonio specifically for our purchase of the 2019 XC90. Would do it again and recommend to family and friends anytime. Thank you Miguel and Volvo of San Antonio for the experience!!!

    This has been the worst experience I’ve ever had with a car dealership or service department! I have a 2016 xc60 that practically needs a new engine, which... they tell me is a $5000 repair! This is apparently a common issue with this year car and MANY owners have had same issue and Volvo covered their entire repair. I have a lemon on my hands and they expect me to cover it. They have had my car for nearly THREE months and it has yet to be fixed. They NEVER communicate the status. I will call and leave several messages, wait days and still no call back. No customer service. Go ahead, have the GM Bud Pratt call me! I would love to fill him in on this situation.

    I am a car owner for the first time in 4 years (having used public transport in Boston) and the warm and discreet attention by Miguel reconfirmed why I... came back to Volvo after having previously owned a V40 and S40. He stayed late after closing hours while I finished financing paperwork (the lady who walked me through that was also extremely helpful). At no time was anyone rushing me to finish up just to close the sale because it was past 7pm.

    took car in for routine maintenance (last 12 months, haven't driven much due to illnesses) hadn't made it to 40k, but tech said it's been a year so we... took it in for service, most of the high cost was for labor, figures ! Anyway we took it home with a NEW problem: the speedometer is bouncing around and gives error code of doors and belts (the doors were closed, we were wearing seat belts) and it's getting worse. Have another appointment next week.

    Was promised by a salesman over the phone that they would be willing to reserve a vehicle for me to purchase. We haggled out price and even set up a time... to pick it up a couple of days later. I offered to put up a non-refundable deposit two times and each time I was assured there was no need and that the vehicle would be there for us on Tuesday (this was Saturday). So- I get a text Saturday afternoon that they had sold our vehicle to someone else! This is after multiple guarantees to reserve it for us. This was justified by the salesman by saying" it was a management decision". What it was was a complete bold faced lie and we will never attempt to purchase from this dealership again. Not a good way of doing business.

    Fixing the repair correctly the first time. Better follow up from the service advisor. It was next to nonexistent. Not being asked to come into the... dealership to reproduce the problem. These are supposed to be trained Volvo techs and should be able to identify a very obvious sound. Especially after it was explained how to reproduce the sound. For a luxury car, service was poor, at least at the dealership.
