I initially posted about the phenomenal buying experience I had at Bergeron last year (see my Google Review); specifically, the quality experience provided... by my sales agent, Chris Laux. Well, even though Chris has since switched to the Service Team at the dealership, the service he and his crew recently provided was remarkable! I was struggling to find time to bring my Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland in for recall service, but just couldn't seem to find the time. Nevertheless, I called Chris who not only got the recall repair completed the day before Thanksgiving, but was also able to get me a loaner vehicle to drive to work because he highly recommend rotating my tires and getting the oil changed before driving out of town. Yea, yea, Chris, I wasn't born yesterday and wasn't prepared to spend any money on these recommendations! But, Chris informed me about the Jeep Wave Program, which before the appointment I knew nothing about, that would allow the service team to perform the recommended work for FREE (because my vehicle was still covered under the program). Anyway, the underlying point is that yet again, Chris went above and beyond to assist me! Put simply, trusted people like Chris are few and far between nowadays and I strongly recommend going to see him and the entire team at Bergeron Chrysler Dodge Jeep in Metairie, LA. Chris has gained a customer for life (I only hope the Bergeron Management Team recognizes how valuable Chris Laux, and employees like him, are to the continued success of the dealership)!
Professional, personable and attentive to the vehicle I wanted. Additionally, there was no feeling that they had to speak to my husband regarding my purchase.... Other dealerships outright asked me to bring my husband to “help me”.

Purchased a 2012 dodge van. A recall came for the driver's door switch, fire hazard. Waited over 6 months and was never notified. When i finally spoke... with someone i went from 4 to 20+ on the waiting list. Claimed waiting for part. Went to Premier and repair done next day. Daughter bought Jeep grand Cherokee from them. Recall on alternator. You got it, part not in. Guess i'll be going to premier again. Coincidence i think not.
I was shopping for a Jeep Wrangler. Got exactly what I was looking for. I even customized the Jeep and they took care of the upgrades covering everything... under the Jeep warranty. It was such great experience, I went back and purchased a Jeep Grand Cherokee too.
Vehicle was sold from another dealership to this one before I could buy it from original dealer. Bergeron wanted thousands more than original dealer and... was rude when asked about original lower price. Would not recommend if looking for a reasonable price.
I can't say enough about my salesman ,David Tripp. He went above and beyond to get make me happy and get me into the car I wanted. I would recommend him... and this dealership to anyone.
Went to look at a used car that was posted the same day. Service was good. It was being cleaned so they brought it out to me. I didn't feel like they... were being too pushy, but the car didn't work out. Overall though it was an ok experience.
The service definitely stops after the sale. I purchased a new 2016 Ram truck from Kurt Gemelli at Bergeron Auto. When negotiating the deal I presented... all of the required documentation for a corporate discount through the National Association of Realtors. As a member of NAR I am entitled to receive $500 off the truck and free oil changes for two years. There are two codes that must be entered during the transaction - one for oil changes, and one for the 500 discount. Bergeron forgot to enter the code for the oil changes and only entered the code for the 500 discount. I discovered this in November when it was time for my first oil change. I contacted Kurt and he was not willing to do anything to make it right and correct their mistake. I was told that I had to call Chrysler. I told him this was unacceptable on Monday November 28 and he said that he would get back with me. Today is December 13th and I still have not heard a word from him. I will not purchase another vehicle from Kurt or Bergeron or recommend anyone else do so unless this is made right. Due to this mistake I am out about $500.
I brought my 04 Jeep Grand Cherokee into Bergeron Auto for safety recalls. Upon dropping off the Cherokee I met Emmett Hotard whom struck up a conversation... about the Jeep as he owned on 03. We talked about how both of us like to do the maintenance on the Jeeps and that they are fun to drive. I also talked about my family being long-time customers of Bergeron. The cashier was very also very friendly and wanted to make certain I was satisfied with the repairs. I recommend Bergeron Auto and Emmett for all of your new car and repair needs.
