I purchased a used truck from DeMontrond ford in

I purchased a used truck from DeMontrond ford in Cleveland Tx on 02/24/2025. I was told by Bruce Martin that I would be required to purchase a warranty , gap insurance and a gps tracker before purchasing the vehicle. My credit score is excellent I was prequalified for a loan by Capital One finance. I was treated differently because I’m black. He was very dishonest , he used pressure tactics and hidden fees. When I got home I did my research on all the add on, I was required to purchase by Bruce Martin the financial manger he lied . I was told by the gap insurance company that I could cancel with a full refund to the finance company. I was unable to cancel the gps tracker for a refund . I should have left and went to another dealership but I wanted the truck. Every customer should be treated with respect and honesty regardless of their race. This was the worse experience ever. I’m still trying to get the status of the gap refund but all my calls to the dealership keep going to voicemail. My advice for you take someone with you to the dealership ,ask to see everything in writing and read over the contract twice before signing it. If you have excellent credit do not let DeMontrond Ford finance your loan.

Rusty Expedition

Buyer Beware Of The 2017 Ford Expedition El 4x4 at Demontrod Ford! They Sold This Scrap Heap to us thank GOD we found the Rust fast enough ! They told us the would have never put it on the lot if they KNEW about it!!!!!!! WELL PEOPLE IT BACK UP for SALE ON THE LOT!!! Two Outside body shops told us it could be unsafe with side impact. Hope the owners see this and handle it properly!

Service

The more I have to wait the more auguvated I seem to get.I purchased a 2018 Ford fuision at this dealership on March.29,2022.On June 9,2022 I carried it in supposedly for miss fire,was told 2 coils and plugs was bad,on june 14,2022 was told the car was fixed.Well I didnt even make it home before it started cutting up again.So they had to send the tow truck after it.Well was told then another coil out,and a wire broke.Fixed that,still didnt fix it so then told the oil seperator was out and it took a week to get one in,So I called,and was told the technician who was working on my car was no longer there but they was getting another one on to.Well got a call and said your car is ready,so I go to pick it up,got on the road and same old thing,barley get to the u turn to take it back,So they send one of the ladies to ride with me,I just told her to drive,and she right off noticed what it was doing.She ask to leave it with them 7/1/[2022,so this morning I called,they have not even touched it.And they will be closed 7/4/2022,oh and its still under warranty, 3 of them ,So here I am my car has been there almost a month,with me almost begging for a loaner car,because I have been off work a month,from eye surgery, and have to go back to work 7/4/2022,So have to try to find a way to work at 230 in the morning, And now its gonna be 4/5/2022 before I can even Find out any more bad news.Oh and not to say I already have 18000.00 in the car,God help me

Terrible Service Department

This is two-fold. We purchased our truck from Demontrond Cleveland and had a great experience. However, the service department is awful!! My husband went for the first oil change and had to wait for a couple of hours. I went for the second and walked out after waiting for 3-1/2 hours. When I got there I was told it would be an hour. At 2 hours I was told mine was up next. At 3-1/2 hours my truck was still sitting where I parked it. So basically a day wasted and no oil change. I will never use this service department. Oh, I was also told they only have one person working on oil changes on Saturdays. That makes absolutely no sense!

Worst place ever

Can’t do there job right !! And can’t fix anything so don’t go to this Location In Cleveland my husband’s trucks been there twice couldn’t fix it the first time second time they say it’s not under warranty they want more money nonsense after nonsense

Buying car for Daughter

I wish i could rate them as extremely poor with no starts. Very disappointed with the service I received from your used car sales division. Ran credit and never called back. No communication at all. Sold a car that I was trying to pay for, even pay cash. Horrible guys.

Not All Demontronds Are Created Equal

I am have bought 2 cars in the last two years from two different DeMontrond dealers. Both the Hyundai and Volkswagen gave me the best possible price and deals. No need for haggling and no random changes to the initial call/emails upon entry to the dealership. This was a very disheartening experience. Not only did they NOT honor their internet pricing but they increased the price by nearly 13,000 dollars. With this in mind I can certainly tell you this place is not worth the visit.

Service

I bought a Ford Focus and needed some repair work on the top from a dent in it Took it and left it for 3 days. I got my car back and noticed a few days later there is a shoe mark torn into my leather seat Greasy prints all inside my car and on the sun roof controls. My husband took it back to show them they have denied doing this to my new car. My roof panel is loose and you can see daylight also. The body shop manager called me and said they made a claim to ford for the damage and they denied it. WHY? Ford did not do this they did. They refuse to fix my car. The body guy is lying about not doing this to my new car. SO, I INFORMED HER WE WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANOTHER VEHICLE OR REFER ANYONE AGAIN TO THIS DELEARSHIP AGAIN. WE HAVE PURCHASED SEVERAL VEHICLES THERE IT IS OBVIOUS THIS BODY SHOP IS BAD NEWS JUST GROM THE REVIEWS I CAN SEE. If Mr Anderson was still around this would have e been made good He was a good man.
