About our dealership

This seller has been on Cars.com since February 2004.
Frederick A. DeVoe founded Fred DeVoe Chevrolet in February 1966. Fred retired in 1990 and the franchise was operated and managed by Fred's two sons Scott DeVoe and Tom DeVoe through 2006. In January 2007 Tom sold his interest to Scott who is now the sole owner of DeVoe Chevrolet. The dealership has grown consistently from its inception in 1966. Our present volume of 1400 units per year has quadrupled since 1966. Our family has been in the car business for over 60 years but our business is our customers and our commitment to complete customer satisfaction has driven our success and continued growth.

zero customer service

Ive tried to deal with this dealership on multiple occasions. Usually with the sales dept, with no luck. The latest was with the service dept and the service was just as terrible as the sales dept. I dropped a vehicle off on Monday 9/13/2021 with a side detection system error. Late on that Monday, I was told it needed a new module. I promptly ordered the module and had it to them on Tuesday the 14th. When I went in to discuss what they had found, the technician named Tim said they were not sure what was going on and thought it needed the new module. No tests were done to confirm the old module was bad or the issue. He gets the module installed I assume that same afternoon, but what do you know... it did not fix the issue as it was not the problem. They now think it is a rear bumper harness. I again ordered the part and told them I would have it on this afternoon. Well they decided to also order a part, that they say is non returnable so I have to pay for that part as well. I tell them to not mess with the vehicle any longer, they had it for 4 days and still have no answers. The best part is they charged me $1,000 for labor and parts. Parts were $72. So over $900 in labor for NOTHING. This will be the last time I ever step foot at this business and would not recommend them to anyone. The service advisor was great. Her hands were tied and she was only doing as her manager told her to do. She was great and kept me informed the entire time, well informed that the tech did not know what he was doing. He was just deciding to throw parts at it. I picked it up today to take it to another dealer to get repaired properly. I will be reaching out to the general manager as well. UPDATE: They did refund the money for the part, but did nothing about $900 in labor for nothing. UPDATE 2: Vehicle went to another dealer, vehicle was fixed and on the road in under 2 hours.

Scam 169 no money down lies

Of course there was an offer on line that was too good to be true but all of the small print I qualified for. When I showed up they let me believe the car I was test driving was qualified and then they said they sold that car. Complete BS.

Great place to go...

My experience was great! Robert took great care in making sure I got what I was looking for. Day of delivery he made sure I was introduced to all the features of my new Trax. It had been 17 years since I got a new vehicle so I had a lot to learn! Linda in finance was also wonderful. She knew about me and anticipated my needs. Overall my experience has been fabulous. I know I made the right decision coming to DeVoe Chevrolet for my vehicle! I feel like I'm part of the family!

My Favorite Dealership

My salesman Greg was great to work with on the purchase of my truck. I love the fact that I worked with the same salesperson I worked with back in 2009 when I brought my last truck. Since I wanted to add leather seats, different tires, and stripes on the truck, Greg was great about proactively giving me status updates on everything from the dealer swap to get to having it ready for pickup. When we came to purchase the truck, everything was ready for us and it only took a few minutes. Everyone at DeVoe Chevrolet respected our time and made it amazing to deal with them.

Great service and friendly staff

Rob worked hard to get my payments where i wanted them to be. All the staff was very friendly. The facility is very clean and they always have the best baked fresh cookies out for their customers while they are waiting .

Awesome Service

The people. Keith was extremely friendly when he greeted me. The cashier was very polite as well. I would never dream of going anywhere else.
