I had my GL 450 serviced on 4/17/20 for a RPM sensor problem and the repair was $441. Now here it is a little over two months and the ABS light comes on... again. I called and was told it probably is another sensor that is bad. After I get this fixed I will be selling my vehicle because I don't trust Albany Motorcars.
Not a great experience at all. Drove all the way from Florida to purchase a vehicle . I called before I went to make sure the price on the car was correct... and was told it was and Derrick scheduled me an appointment. Got there and they told me that the price on the car was wrong and that it would be more than was listed on their website and every other website you can visit to shop around. (I could take a legal route considering that they purposely false advertised and used the bait and switch trick, I may even consider it.) That was only the beginning. I ended up getting the car anyway because it was what I really want to do. After being there all day, (I got there at 12pm and didn't leave until 6pm), I left the lot with the car. I also traded in my previous car which came with 2 keys. Before I left the lot, I was given only one key. My salesman Jody told me that the previous owner was mailing over the key and he would send it to me as soon as possible. Later the next week, I got a call from Cricket saying that they had me sign the wrong power of attorney form and I needed to sign a different one so that they could get my registration processed. I was out of town when she call so you can imagine how much of an inconvenience that was . I got the paper signed and sent back to Cricket. I also asked Cricket about the additional key to my car and she told me that it had been mailed and I should receive it soon. It was then a weeks later and I had not received a key and my previous lender was still debiting funds out of my account because Albany Motorcars hadnt sent the payoff check yet (i was told it could take 20 days and it was already a week over. I called and spoke with Nick who said he was going to call the home office as soon as he got out of meeting and call me back. He never did. So I sent Jody (my sales person) an email in regards to my concerns. Coincidentally, they had mailed the check that same day (only because I called) . So finally the payoff check was being sent. In my email I also asked Jody about the key to the car, he said the lady called him and told him she couldn't find it and I told him Cricket told me otherwise. I asked him would they consider covering the cost of getting me an additional key made and without even checking or offering some type of compensation he immediately said no. You would think that is the least they can do considering all of the other mess ups along the way. Avoid this dealership at all cost, it is not worth the headache or time. Lesson learned!
I worked with Steve Johnston and purchased a Mercedes sight un seen. He was more than helpful getting me all the info and helping get the car set up for... shipping. They are honest fair and awesome to deal with. I have never me them but it went very smoothly in a less than ordinary transaction.

I have had my Mercedes serviced here at Albany Motorcars every 10,000 miles since I have had it. They always cheerfully pick it up and leave me a loaner.... The staff is always very helpful even when I have had warranty work done, I cannot say enough about how pleased I am with their overall service.

The service on my Mercedes-Benz was completed in a timely manner. I was very pleased. The attitude of the staff was one I personally considered exceptional.... They were very accommodating and pleasant to me. I was informed in advanced on the expected cost of the work to be completed, and I received a follow-up call from them to assure I was completely satisfied with their work.

From the minute I contacted this dealership online about a 2014 pre-owned BMW, to the final purchase, everyone was super. Josh Evans handled every online... question I had professionally and timely. He was very helpful with getting the car held until we could get from Birmingham to Albany to test drive it. David and Lawrence were waiting for us when we arrived and arranged everything from test drive to purchase without a hitch. Daniel was great with getting all of the paperwork completed for our out-of-state purchase. They all worked very hard to get us on our way within a couple of hours. After looking online for the "right" vehicle and dealing with many dealerships, this one was by far the most responsive, helpful and pleasant. Took my vehicle in for service and was treated with respect from the time I entered the service drive. All repairs needed were explained in detail prior... to any work beginning and repairs were performed in a timely manner. All employees that I came in contact with were very friendly and went above and beyond to make me feel like the valued customer that I am. Great work!
Had a blow out and needed a tow, repair and help fast. Ashley Luke helped me out tremendously and was comepletely awesome! From beginning to the end she... went above and beyond the average call of duty to help me out and for that I am thankful to have reached such a great and helpful person/employee.
