Here’s a warning to future Wagner customers who live outside the Tyler area. I texted one of their salesmen on Memorial Day 2025 after finding my preferred CT5-V in their inventory. He responded the following morning and we began arranging the purchase. I live two hours away from Tyler, so everything was done over text, phone calls and email. I met this salesman two months ago when I visited the dealership for a test drive, so I felt comfortable with this approach. I offered to make a deposit to hold the car until I could visit the dealership the following weekend, but was told they don’t take deposits. Over the course of a single business day, we negotiated a fair trade-in value and I agreed to pay cash for the remainder due. I received a final price quote from the sales office, and was then told I would need to immediately wire the remainder due from my bank account to secure the car under my name. I have never been asked by a dealership to secure a car purchase in this manner and found the request strange, but the phone number and email address were authentic so I reluctantly wired $46,000 to Wagner so I wouldn’t lose the car. Unbeknownst to me, they were actively negotiating with another buyer for the same car at the same time and let her purchase the vehicle while I was arranging my wire transfer. This morning, I received an email saying my wire transfer was complete alongside a text message from Wagner saying “management made the decision to sell the car last night to another customer.” For several hours, no one at the dealership could confirm receipt of my wire transfer, so I had to entertain the possibility that I had been scammed with fake routing information by a rogue employee. Ultimately they were able to reverse the wire transfer by the end of the day. I spent two hours on the phone with the finance manager and general sales manager who were apologetic, but they could not fully rectify the situation since the car was sold to someone else. I was told the employees involved were reprimanded and that HR has handled the matter internally. I asked to speak with the owner of the dealership given the gravity of the situation, but he was unavailable. Wagner Cadillac is owned by Gabriel/Jordan Auto Group who control seven dealerships across East Texas. If something like this can happen at their luxury dealership, you should approach all of their dealerships with extreme caution. If you are negotiating in person at the dealership, you’re probably fine. But if you are attempting to purchase from elsewhere, do not send them any money. You may find yourself out of a car and a $25 wire transfer fee.

Terrible!
Terrible! Body shop giving me run around about parts availability for 4 months. They lie and tell me that part is discontinued. General Motors say the part is delayed. I called to get plans for my vehicle and get no return call.

Called dealership said car was availabe , then drove 102 miles got there and nobody new where the car was or when it would return . And have not heard from them again Will never buy anything from these people.

Gregp, You are correct. We did not follow our process and unfortunately were impacted negatively. We have since reviewed our processes with all parties involved and put safeguards to prevent this from happening in the future. Horrible experience with corrupt leadership.
Very slow to respond to customers in service after vehicle is dropped off and hard to get a hold of. Sales people hound you while your vehicle is in service to try and sell you a new vehicle. Overall one of the worst experiences I’ve had at a dealership.

Took our srx in early January for collision-damaged...
Took our srx in early January for collision-damaged rear-end. Just got it back YESTERDAY. One excuse after another, week after week, month after month. Insurance only pays for the rental for a month, so we were left with around $2000 or more rental fees. No help from Wagner. No offer to farm it out. No offer to help with the rental, or give us a loaner. NADA. Don't get me wrong, no one was rude. Just not terribly helpful, or sympathetic to the hardship being caused by them setting on our car for 3 MONTHS!

Took our srx in early January for collision-damaged rear-end. Just got it back YESTERDAY. One excuse after another, week after week, month after month. I’d like to take this time to say a special thanks for Misty my sales person and to Wagner Cadillac. First off the 2021 Cadillac Escalade is a highly sought out vehicle and I would compare this to the Playstation 5 as you would have to line out 24hrs outside to get one. But like myself I did not pre order my Escalade therefore I had to call 27 Dealership around the world looking for one and when I called Wagner and spoke to Misty. Let me tell you her customer service skills and approach to customer far exceeded my expectations. I say that after calling 27 dealership and speaking to so many different sales person they all sound worn out and a bit irritated but after explaining everything I wanted to Misty. She took the time to just listen to what I was looking for and THANK YOU GOD!!!!! She said she has one that a customer backed out on so I can have that one. I waited about a month for the vehicle to be made and all that time she had an open communication and answered all my nagging text about the vehicle. Mind you, I drove 188 miles from Houston to Tyler, TX which was all worth it. Not even all my Cadillac dealers in Houston can compete with customer service. She gave a new meaning to customer satisfaction. I say the same for the entire Wagner Cadillac Family as I walked in you can tell their not there just to sell a car one time. Their goal was to build a relationship which they’ve one cause after my CTS-V lease is up I will be coming back. Thank you again Misty for everything and I’m very happy with my truck.

Excellent Everything!
From start to finish this was by far the best car buying experience I've had! Communication was excellent, the car was exactly as described and there was zero of the dreaded delay and rigamarole that I've encountered at every other dealership I've bought from. Ask for Mike!

Personable sales person, and staff.
I ended up buying a vehicle from this instead of a local dealership because I liked working with Misti so well. She's very personable and friendly... Someone you could just talk to about anything, really. The delivery guys who delivered my car down to Houston were very nice, and Misti added a little personal touch for my wife as well. I also talked to the finance guy, and he was nice, also.
