I brought my Ford F150 Lariat to Smith Ford to electrical failure. They have had the vehicle about 90 days now. Service manager unable to determine how to repair. They are less than honest, Ford Headquarters calls them and gives misleading information.

Check Engine Light - 2010 Honda EXL-V6
On a Saturday monring, the check engine light came on and it began running rough about 30 miles east of Lordsburg. Gas station attendant sent me to Smith Ford. They took my Honda in and diagnosed the problem. Spark plug #6 ceramic insulator was broken. Took a while to track down spark plugs for the Honda and when installed, was on my way, same day. Thank you very much. Lifesaver.

Best of help when stranded
My car was having issues with its alternator during my cross country drive. A local mechanic flaked on providing me the help I needed to repair my car. I went to the local Ford dealership (Smith Ford), desperate for help, and they provided all the help I needed, even though my vehicle is not a Ford product. They did a fantastic job in a timely manner and got me back on the road. The staff was friendly and willing to help me with any other needs I had while I waited for the repair work to be completed.

Dishonest and rude.
Worst business I have ever encountered. Endless lying by the service manager Kendall and his toady Ryan. They repeatedly made appts for me to drive 300 miles so they could repair the damage they did while working on my truck and failing to fix it. Every appt was cancelled when I showed up after driving there. I'm out the money for three hotel rooms, food and gas, not to mention my time. Petty and vindictive describes them to a T. The owner tried to get me to pull my reviews without regard to outrageous behavior of his employees. That's not going to happen. Beware of these scoundrels...

I'll drive to Lordsburg!
My daughter and I broke down in San Simon, AZ. NO ONE would help us including the illustrious Arizona Highway Patrol. They told me to call the New Mexico State Police and see if they would help me (I am a retired Deputy Sheriff from Texas, I'm not making this up). New Mexico got me in touch with a rotational wrecker company which had no permit to enter Arizona. They told me to call SMITH FORD IN LORDSBURG, NM. I did and they came right over and got us. They dropped us off at a motel and took our car to the dealership. Long story a little shorter, our hoopty was toast and we needed another car. SMITH FORD gave us a good deal on a used car, got us a good loan rate through Ford Motor Credit and even gave us a good trade in on our old car! My daughter is disabled and when we made it back home to Texas she had 8 hours of medical supplies left. THANK YOU SMITH FORD and when I need another car, I will drive 736 miles to SMITH FORD to get it!

Best auto purchasing experience EVER!
Nelson Harris is bar none the best sales representative I have ever worked with in the six times I have purchased an auto from a dealer. While I am a native New Mexican, I retired in Arizona. This transaction was conducted across state lines by email and phone - a first for me. While I will admit I was skeptical throughout the process, Nelson ensured everything went smoothly. The vehicle was exactly as described and the paperwork went quickly. We couldn't be happier with the entire experience. To top it off, Nelson recommended a Mexican food restaurant for lunch that was absolutely incredible!

Excellent service
While traveling through town I had a tire blow out and needed a replacement. Although the dealership did have the right size tire on hand, they searched locally until one was found. I was back on the road with minimal delay. I couldn't have imagined better service!

Great Buying Experience
My family recently bought a used vehicle from Smith Ford. The entire staff was so helpful and nice. I would like to say "Thank you" to Nelson Harris. He made the process easy and enjoyable. He out did himself to get us the best deal on our trade-in and new vehicle. He made sure we understood everything from the financials to the touch screen.

First-rate, small-town service.
Our 10-year old Toyota Prius broke down on I-10 halfway between Las Cruces and Lordsburg the night before New Years Eve. We had it towed to Smith Ford. They diagnosed the problem and repaired it the next day by pulling parts from a trade-in on their lot. Great service, great price, good coffee, good company. If you have a vehicle problem on this stretch of I-10, go to Smith Ford first.
