There was a check engine light on, we asked them to tell us what the code was and they told us it was the mass air filter which was a total lie because it was a bad transmission not just the air filter. I’m sure They new the transmission was bad since they would have checked the car out when they purchased from the previous owner as a trade in.

Service Department Pirates
I have an elderly mother that bought a rogue from them. The sales and delivery performance was average for a dealership. She had been taking her rogue to get serviced regularly. They had offered a free oil change for a limited time. The free service package has since expired, fair enough. Her rogue recently came due for an oil change, and sticking with our standard procedure, she went back to the dealership for this oil change. WATCH OUT FOR THIER SERVICE ADVISOR HEAD HUNTERS!!!!!! They pushed a transmission fluid flush and a brake system fluid flush and tried to push a cabin filter and air filter change on top of the oil change for which she came. So instead of paying the expected $60 on an oil change, they duped her to the tune of $491.38. This 2018 vehicle has 43k on it. This vehicle has been mildly driven and DID NOT NEED this "recommended" service. Service managers, advisors, and mechanics are dependent on the sales revenue. So, when the "recommend" a service such as a transmission flush or brake system flush, they are recommending that you pad their bank account. They aren't looking out for you. I hope you pirates at Patterson are happy with your loot, you wont get any more of our money, EVER.

As I said during our conversation, we always recommend to all our customers any and all maintenance items that need to be addressed based on age of car and mileage. This is a common service we provide and recommend to all our customers. We actually feel as if we fail our customers if we don't bring maintenance items to their attention and then they have a problem that could be avoided. Our main concern with all our customers including your mother's, is to take care of their primary reason for coming in as well as perform a multi-point inspection in order to give a report card on the vehicle to make recommendations of needed services based on time, mileage, or any visible signs of needed services. This is for the safety of our customers as well as the safety of the condition of the vehicle. Again, these are recommendations only and we offer this to every customer. I apologize if you feel as if these were not necessary services. Our job is to recommend only and let the customer decide what's best for them. Your mother did authorize these services and we honored her wishes. I assure you we never offer services to any of our customers unless we truly believe it is necessary and in the best interest of our customers and their vehicle.
