I went to Cummings Chevrolet in National City on October 17th 2018 to look at Camaros. After deciding that I could not afford the price that they were... asking for I got up to leave. The dealership had taken my car that I wanted to trade in on a test drive. So they had the keys to the car. I kept telling them That I have an appointment a 5 PM, I got to go. So when I got up to go to my car to leave, there was no keys in the car. They were hiding my keys so I couldn't leave. So once again a sales person pounced on me and pressured me and I bought a car that I really could not afford. Sleazy tactics. Came to find out that one of the sales persons had hidden the keys and as I was about to leave with the new car I needed to get stuff out of the old one and the key to open the trunk came up immediately . They overcharged me by about $3500. Not happy at all with Cummings Chevrolet to say the least. The owner of the company was there too. Thin blonde headed man, he went along with the whole charade, the whole farce deception.. Sleazy sale tactics.

I was meet right away, my maintenance was explained to me, and I was told how long it would take. Maintenance was done pretty close to the stated time... frame, but it took a little time to get my vehicle from the maintenance area.
Dropping off car. Service guy was nice. He needed help as to what to do , how to handle my extended service contract. He didn’t know who to call and how... to charge my rental. I had to school him Status. I don’t get a call the first day no update till 2 nd day evening. Then a call at night saying car will be ready 3rd day and when to pick up. Pickup. When okay. Different service admin. My guy was off. He was good. Took care of my rental extended warranty stuff. I paid deductible of 200.. total for AC repairs was over 1600.00. Woohooo. Saved. I just waited 15 mins for my car after paying. They didn’t here to bring up car.
