Purchased car in 2013. At the time Mike Warner was the service lead. Always very positive experience, including during mechanical emergency. Mike retired and it shows! Different service writer every time. The facility itself is tired 80s. Everything echoes- every employee complaint and every private customer transactions. Latest issue-car in for service, and check engine light. Came back after the inspection telling me needed to be worked on in addition to service. Cars done, ready to drive off, check engine light is still on. Yeah, they didn’t fix it. Service writer indicates now what el$e need$ to be done once part comes in. Once that’s done, it will be my last visit. I’ll buy another Volvo again, but not from the dealership. Sure I could speak to the GM, but I know they don’t care.

Low pressure and no hassles
Bought an S60 from Robbie and Keagan, they were refreshingly low key and low pressure compared to other dealers that I had visited. It took me 3 visits to the dealership to finally make up my mind--the sales staff were accommodating and helpful throughout the whole process. The cars were sleek and stylish and up to date.

Lack of honesty and follow-up
We purchased a 2017 Volvo XC60 T6 from Volvo Escondido which was advertised both on their website and the Volvo Certified website as coming equipped with the Protection Package. We arrived after a drive a three hours in the late afternoon with darkness falling and took the car for a quick test drive but since it had all the options we wanted; I did not deliberately crosscheck that everything was included that should have been trusting that this would not be an issue with a licensed Volvo dealership and the purchase of such an expensive vehicle. This was the fatal mistake. Upon getting the vehicle home we realized that the mats (protection package) which we had assumed were in the back cargo area were not there. Thinking that they had just been inadvertently removed while the vehicle was vacuumed prior to sale etc. I called the dealership the next day and left a message on my salesperson’s line who is also the manager of this dealership. He did not even bother to return the call. Later when speaking with the dealership again I followed up and again requested a call back again to deal with this. Again no follow up. Basically, this is a few hundred shy of a $1000 item that Volvo Escondido misleadingly advertised for and built into the car’s selling point and that they are deceptively stealing from me as the purchaser. Needless to say, they have lost someone who would have been a repeat customer and I want to warm anyone else dealing with Volvo Escondido that they have a distinct lack of integrity, concern for honesty, due diligence and customer care. I have also followed up with Volvo USA on the deception perpetrated by Volvo Escondido and they have also contacted the dealership but they still have done nothing. A poor showing and poor business practice, Volvo Escondido.

Great Dealership/Team!
Great customer service from my Sales Consultant, to the Sales Manager, and the General Sales Manager. I special ordered a car that was/is in high demand and short supply. I was told exactly what to expect during the waiting period, received updates and had a great vehicle delivery experience. The associates at this dealership truly worked as a team and I felt it. Everyone was happy to help when my personal sales consultant was away/off. I felt that these guys truly believed in the Volvo brand and were passionate about it. I'm so glad I decided to purchase my Volvo here!

Volvo Escondido is the best!
Robert MacIntyre was absolutely fabulous! Excellent customer service, he made the whole experience great for our family of four...which is no small feat with our crew! He was very upfront and open about the lease process and followed through on his initial very fairly priced quote. No haggling needed!!!
