Great experience buying a car from the dealership. The staff were attentive and definitely answered my questions. Mike Brandt was very helpful and professional.... Very thankful to the wonderful team to process all our experience with ease.
Danny Costido was our salesperson and he really made the car buying process very transparent and smooth. We really appreciate him working with us for... our concerns and showing us all the ins and outs of our XC90.
Not every aspect of the experience was perfect. But, My wife Lexie and I felt the entire Escondido staff were genuine and honest with how they handled... our requests. Richard and Larry went out of their way to follow through and resolve any issues quickly. We are happy we made the decision to work with Volvo Escondido. We would highly recommend our friends and family to Richard and his staff without any reservations. If this is the experience we can expect from Volvo. We are happy to part of it for many more years to come.
Bought an S60 from Robbie and Keagan, they were refreshingly low key and low pressure compared to other dealers that I had visited. It took me 3 visits... to the dealership to finally make up my mind--the sales staff were accommodating and helpful throughout the whole process. The cars were sleek and stylish and up to date.
Best dealership hands down & will forever be a customer! Lance is amazing! Robert in sales outstanding! Terrence in Service fantastic! Honest, fair and... extremely professional! Best dealer experience ever!
We purchased a 2017 Volvo XC60 T6 from Volvo Escondido which was advertised both on their website and the Volvo Certified website as coming equipped with... the Protection Package. We arrived after a drive a three hours in the late afternoon with darkness falling and took the car for a quick test drive but since it had all the options we wanted; I did not deliberately crosscheck that everything was included that should have been trusting that this would not be an issue with a licensed Volvo dealership and the purchase of such an expensive vehicle. This was the fatal mistake. Upon getting the vehicle home we realized that the mats (protection package) which we had assumed were in the back cargo area were not there. Thinking that they had just been inadvertently removed while the vehicle was vacuumed prior to sale etc. I called the dealership the next day and left a message on my salesperson’s line who is also the manager of this dealership. He did not even bother to return the call. Later when speaking with the dealership again I followed up and again requested a call back again to deal with this. Again no follow up. Basically, this is a few hundred shy of a $1000 item that Volvo Escondido misleadingly advertised for and built into the car’s selling point and that they are deceptively stealing from me as the purchaser. Needless to say, they have lost someone who would have been a repeat customer and I want to warm anyone else dealing with Volvo Escondido that they have a distinct lack of integrity, concern for honesty, due diligence and customer care. I have also followed up with Volvo USA on the deception perpetrated by Volvo Escondido and they have also contacted the dealership but they still have done nothing. A poor showing and poor business practice, Volvo Escondido.
Great customer service from my Sales Consultant, to the Sales Manager, and the General Sales Manager. I special ordered a car that was/is in high demand... and short supply. I was told exactly what to expect during the waiting period, received updates and had a great vehicle delivery experience. The associates at this dealership truly worked as a team and I felt it. Everyone was happy to help when my personal sales consultant was away/off. I felt that these guys truly believed in the Volvo brand and were passionate about it. I'm so glad I decided to purchase my Volvo here!
My Overall experience was the best I have had picking out a new vehicle. From start to finish was very nice and with great service
Robert MacIntyre was absolutely fabulous! Excellent customer service, he made the whole experience great for our family of four...which is no small... feat with our crew! He was very upfront and open about the lease process and followed through on his initial very fairly priced quote. No haggling needed!!!
I'm not sure what has happened with this Volvo franchise but they've gone straight to the bottom of the pile from being aces. Due to an erratic schedule... that I work, getting service or maintenance done on a car takes a bit of pre-planning. We purchased a new Volvo from this dealer in 2016 and prior to our third visit there was no issue at all from sales, to the great service Mike Warner provided and we were always able to coordinate our schedules. For our third service, once again everything was arranged over the phone with the receptionist to have service done and a battery issue fixed, a loaner car was requested and was told two weeks until we can make it happen, not a problem at all. Fast forward two weeks and come in for the schedule appointment en-route to work and was met by a new person working in the service department named "Chris". He asked how he could help and explained that was in for service and a battery issue. He began to work on the paperwork, and asked if I would be waiting. I told him a loaner car was requested, in which he replied "we don't give loaner cars for normal service". This was never an issue before, and this appointment was scheduled two weeks in advance to have a loaner car available. He proceeded to go outside to take the numbers on the car and did his walk around, and came back to tell me they could give me a loaner car for two hours....Two hours? I'm on my way to work 30 miles away and work until after business hours. How am I suppose to return a car in two hours? What dealer states you have to have a loaner car back in two hours? I requested to talk to the service manager who used to be or possibly still is Mike Warner but was told "I'm the manager". I then asked to speak to a general manager in which I was told he is unavailable and I'm the highest manager working. It's absolutely appalling that Volvo wants to call itself a "premium brand" with "premium service" plastered all over the service department with poor service as per the above. Since I couldn't wait for the car to be done as I was en-route to work and they refused to give a loaner car for more than 2 hours it was an effort of futility. Two thumbs down to the what was once great service department as it really leaves 3 mediocre Volvo dealers in San Diego county. If Volvo wants to call itself a premium brand, they shouldn't have Kia quality employees.
