Went looking for a new vehicle

Brian Rios helped us pick out our new Ford Explorer. He was truly very patient because we spent hours deciding. He made us feel very comfortable. Thanks Brian!!

Terrible experience

I was excited that I had finally found a place to get a car. Well once the approval was done it was like they did not actually care about making the sale. I came in from Lubbock and was told I could get the vehicle delivered to me the next day. The next day came I waited majority of the day until I was told the car could not be delivered to me as they had no one to bring it to town. So I had to get someone to go out of their way and take me to brownfield at 3 pm. I was told the car was ready to go. I had mentioned it various times that the car had absolutely no gas at all and I expected it to get some put in if I was buying it. I even mentioned it to the finance manager who said he would tell them to get some gas in it. Well I get in the car to take off and it was still empty on gas. I let it go and just put gas in Morton. The next day not even 24 hours later my passenger air conditioning actuator was not working. I call and speak to the sales manager Ryan. He tells me to take it in to see what can be done so I drive and use my gas to get there and wait over 45 minutes to be told by the guy at the service desk “see if you can get ahold of your sales person if they can get you in a loaner car.” Why should I be trying to do that when I was told to bring it in also it is not my job to track down employees to see what can be done? Well the rude employee told me “Ryan does not work in this department so he can not say when to bring a car in. You will have to make an appointment.” So I go to the other building telling Edward the situation and he tells me well it usually works by appointment only. Instead of anyone trying to help me and avoid being the middle man they just brushed it off as oh well. So I make an appointment to take my vehicle In, I get to Lubbock look up the part and just go and buy it myself which was a 15 minute fix. So I wasted my time and gas being given the run around and having to chase all the employees of this establishment to find out what needs to done. My vehicle didn’t even get looked at nor was I acknowledged about my time being wasted. Lastly the front bumper on my vehicle is missing I asked when just looking at the car if it was going to get fixed the reply I received was “I asked the guys the same thing in the shop and they don’t know anything about it.” So nothing was deducted off the price of the vehicle FOR A MISSING BUMPER! I am very unhappy within the 3 days I worked with this dealership to BUY a car and it’s been a headache. To anyone who wishes to buy here in the future I encourage you to make sure all your demands are met before you even step foot inside the finance building because you will also sit in there literally for hours in the lobby before being helped. I wasted MONEY, time, gas and my PATIENCE. When it is time for a vehicle again I will definitely avoid this dealership as the customer service is clearly not something that is shown.

I originally had some issues, but the manager resolved everything and went above and beyond. I love the truck he found me. I recommend this store to anyone looking for a vehicle.

Shady Dealer

I am completely disappointed in the Brownfield dealership. I would never recommend this place to anyone. My husband bought a vehicle here. First of all, when he went to pick it up, they had loaned it out to someone. The truck was already in my husband’s name and covered by our insurance. He had to drive a couple of hours to pick it up. It was muddy and dirty. There was even mud under one of the seats. He hasn’t had it even a month and it’s broken down. Of course, it’s not covered by the warranty. It’s going to cost $2000 to fix. You would think if someone spent over $40000 on a vehicle that they could count on it lasting at least a month. Even back alley tote the note places would make it right if the vehicle didn’t last a month——- Not Stanley Ford.

Worst Car Buying Experience of My Life

I've held my tongue long enough in the hopes that I wouldn't have to go to the extreme of writing a bad review, but every aspect of buying my new car here has been horrible. We live in Lubbock but my husband passes this dealership everyday to and from work, his company buys their trucks there, and we honestly thought we'd have a better experience with a smaller dealership. From the start it was frustrating working with salespeople who continually suggested vehicles which were not an option for our large family and even "advising" us to let my trade-in go back to the bank because they couldn't find a way to work a deal with what I owed on it! I don't care what the circumstances are, morally a salesperson should NEVER go that far in order to make a sale! We should have walked then and stupidly we did not. We finally were able to get to a point we were satisfied on a vehicle that would work for us. This is after a week of my husband dealing back and forth with them and saying no on numerous ridiculous options they gave us. That brings us to dealing with the finance manager which was the biggest whirlwind of chaos I've ever encountered when signing for a vehicle. It was late in the day, well after their posted closing time and we were rushed through everything. When my husband or I had a question he blew it off and went to the next page to sign. Again stupidly we let it happen. Also a discount that had been promised because of the company my husband works for was never mentioned once we were signing papers. Something that was realized later after we had taken the vehicle home. One of the stipulations of the deal was there was hail damage on the vehicle and that would be fixed by the dealership. About a month after we had the vehicle my husband called to try to set up an appointment to get it fixed. We went back and fourth for another month because they never had a suitable vehicle to put us in while they were fixing ours. At one point they suggested we just leave it there because it would only take 1 day to fix-which we already knew that would be impossible! My husband called over and over again trying to get it set up and finally last Saturday we took it in to get fixed. They did give us a loaner that was big enough for our family of 6 after talking to the general manager. That brings me to today. We got the call that my car was ready. My husband drove to Brownfield to pick it up and I just got off the phone with him telling me he's not bringing my car back to me tonight. They tried to send my brand new car home with a door that now squeaks like a high mileage vehicle. There were pieces of foam from inside the roof lying throughout the back of my car even between the seats. There was also a crack on the plastic molding on the driver's side door and a large scrape on the inside near the cup holder behind the third row seat that was not there before. To top it off we stupidly paid for an interior protection plan that involved applying a protectant to the interior of the car. We asked them to apply it while they had it there and they told my husband they did. If they did, they applied it all over the dirt and foam pieces that were left in my car. I have never been made to feel so unimportant as a customer in my life. Our satisfaction has never been a priority and I have never been so mad at myself for letting myself settle for this kind of treatment when buying a car. I know better and yet I still ignored my the bad feelings I had from the start. It's sickening.

Best car buying experience ever!

I've never had such personal, one on one customer service when buying a vehicle before. My salesman made it so easy for me, made all the arrangements so convenient. My experience was so amazing and comfortable.
