I would highly recommend to take your business somewhere

I would highly recommend to take your business somewhere else as my experience at this dealership today was very negative. I wasn't able to obtain the salesmen's name (I believe it was Thomas Barham or Tommy), but he's an older "gentlemen" who had trouble to communicate with us in a respectful manner. The negotiation process of the sale didn't end up meeting in neither favor, and in the process we said that the numbers "Weren't in our budget" and the "gentlemen" replied in a very aggressive tone saying "If it's out of budget why would you come in to begin with." As a car salesmen how could you talk to a customer who is bringing you business like that. The manager Mike came to talk to us after the altercation and excused the gentlemen's behavior by stating that he is old and has medical and mental problems. Under no circumstance should that kind of behavior as a salesmen be excused or tolerated. I would highly advise anybody looking to buy from this dealership to take your business elsewhere. The "gentlemen's" desk is the middle desk on the right side from the front doors of the dealership as of today 10/05/2024.

We recently purchased a new Pallisade from Eckert

We recently purchased a new Pallisade from Eckert Hyundai, working with Jeremy Rosada in Sales and Jacob in Finance. The experience was pleasant and reasonably quick with absolutely everyone at the dealership making us feel at home. We have been dealing with Eckert from almost the beginning when they opened in Denton and will continue to come back. They do not sell you a car and forget you, they continue to help and the Service dept. is as excellent as the Sales folks. We enjoyed meeting and look forward to working with Jeremy in the future. Highly recommend Eckert Hyundai !!

Disrespectful, greedy, and verbally abusive to customers.

Disrespectful, greedy, and verbally abusive to customers. I highly recommend anyone to a different dealership. Buyer beware.

Dealer response

I am sorry but we do not show any Stacey's in our showroom visit log. Please provide us with your full name, phone number, and email address so I can learn more about your experience. This type of behavior goes against our core values and credo here at Eckert Hyundai and quite frankly does not sound like anyone on our team.

Small dealership, which I really liked.

Small dealership, which I really liked. My sales advisor, Gavin Knighton, was able to concentrate on helping me find what I wanted. This was my first experience in purchasing a new vehicle. I have been stressing for weeks on this, and when I walked in there after visiting another type of dealership, he was the first person I saw. He was kind, and showed me that he cared about what I wanted. He asked me what I was looking for and what I felt I needed in a vehicle and then took me outside to show me the Tucson. He NEVER pushed me into anything I wasn’t interested in. I deliver cakes at times and so the boxes are pretty tall. My concern was finding something that would fit a tall box. When I mentioned this to Gavin, he went back into the dealership and came back with a measuring tape. He measured the back of my vehicle and measured the Tucson. We were able to see that the Tucson was a little taller. Plus, it was easier to put the box in. The sales rep at the dealership I had visited before never questioned me on my needs or wants. Even though I mentioned what I needed. Gavin was very respectful in answering all my questions. Even after I left, he never called to bug me about it, he respected me as a new car buyer. I sent him tons and tons of emails with all sorts of questions. He answered each without hesitation. If I ever purchase another vehicle, I’ll see him again. The nice surprise was that right before I left with my new beautiful car, he asked me to make a list of any questions I may have and let him know and he would be happy to help me. Gavin went over and beyond what he needed to do.

Best car purchase experience I've ever had.

Best car purchase experience I've ever had. No big chain dealership markups or bloated add-ons. Just a fair price. Also, got a good offer for my trade-in. Could not have gone better.

Eckert Hyundai damaged my steering wheel, lost one of my

Eckert Hyundai damaged my steering wheel, lost one of my lock nuts, and PREFORMED SERVICE ON MY VEHICLE I DID NOT APPROVE (which was a tire not covered under my plan). I made an appointment informing them I would be having work done under the wheels and tire package they sold me. After I picked up my vehicle they tried to offer me new lock nuts for $240 and charge me for a tire I didn’t ask for. Disappointed in how they handled a bad situation. Only reconciliation offered was to have them undo the work on my vehicle for no charge and replace my lock nut. Spent 4 hours to have 2 tires replaced and then they want me to spend another 4 hours undoing their work and still have a damaged steering wheel. This will be my last visit. I bought my Elantra from them but will be purchasing my vehicles else where in the future.

Dealer response

Mr Duff, thank you for taking the time to leave a review. During your repair you informed your service advisor that you needed to leave to go to another appointment. We oblige this request with your understanding that we were still waiting for the approval of the tire replacement per your service contract. You stated you understood and provided us with your card information for any costs associated with the repair. Unfortunately, your service contract only approved one tire replacement leaving the second tire your financial responsibility. We did offer to provide the lock nut free of charge plus a compromise to your tire replacement which you declined. We value all of our customers and try to provide the best customer service experience. Unfortunately, we do not have any control over what service contracts approve or deny. Drive safe and we wish you a joyous holiday!

I just purchased my second santa fe from Echert hyundai.

I just purchased my second santa fe from Echert hyundai. My first was from a honest dealership. My salesman was very nice and helpful. I ask if he has a demo for sale. Yes he did. I ask if i would get all warranty. Answer yes. After driving the vehicle and talking further with salesman and manager I told them I would purchase it if I could get it for x dollars. Next morning I got a text tell me we had a deal. Went to pick up the vehicle. The finance person Charlie was arrogant and rude. I was told could not get the maintenance warranty . After being rude he said he would give it to me but it would come out of the salesman commission and he would probably be fired. I signed the papers and paid cash for the vehicle. My mistake I only looked at the bottom line. Today I was looking at the invoice . Charlie had charged me for the maintenance policy. Lesson learned be very aware of this dealership. They are not honest and are very rude . Exception , I had a very nice salesman.
