Just purchased a used 2010 Mazda 3 from Tameron. The ad said it included a “Premium Protection Plan,” but during purchase, I was told that was only on... vehicles with less than 100,000 miles. This vehicle has a manual transmission, which I have driven on and off for over 20 years. I drove the vehicle home (about 20 miles) and all was fine. Later that night, I moved the car and the check engine light was on. Sent an email to my salesman and he told me to bring it in, which I planned to do on Monday (this was Thursday morning). That day, I drove the car for about an hour without problems, but on Friday, while driving the clutch have out, leaving me stranded in the side of the road. I had to get the car towed to a local shop and called Tameron. My salesman told me if I could get it to them, they would get it taken care of. It was now after 5 on Friday, so Monday morning I paid to tow it to Tameron. I have now spent over $200 in towing. Their service department checked it out and called within an hour to tell me that it would cost me $2500 to fix the clutch and fly wheel. I paid $6k for the car. I told him it was supposed to to “taken care of” and I was passed to the used car sales manager. He told me that it must have been driven by an inexperienced driver who shot the clutch. I argued that a good clutch shouldn’t fail in 48 hours! He told me he would talk to service and get back to me. After waiting 36 hours for a return call, I called them. They told me they would take care of the check engine light ($300 repair) and could lower the cost of the clutch to $2000. I asked for the quote in writing and have now been waiting over 24 hours for that email. In the meantime, I received a canned email from their service department this morning congratulating me on my purchase and letting me know that they are there for any future maintenance! DO NOT go to Tameron Hyundai, especially for a used vehicle purchase. It is abundantly clear that they only care about the sale and once you are out the door, you mean less than nothing to them. Avoid the headache and frustration by avoiding this place altogether!
I purchased a 2020 Palisade. It leaks air around windows. I have taken it three times for repair. I am told it’s road noise, basically live with it. It... is NOT road noise. Road noise comes from tires not the windows. If I had done my research I would have known better. There are numerous complaints on the web forum of same problem that the dealers will not fix. They tell you anything to sell you a car. I will never buy from Tameron again and will not buy a Hyuandi again. It was my families 7th purchase from Tameron since 1999.

Worked 1 1/2 weeks on getting all the paper work done to buy the car and the General Manager would not accept a deposit on the car to hold it for a few... days. Did find out a day later that he had raised the price of the car from $14,291 to $15,885. Will not ever consider trying to buy from them ever again.
Bell- New to the dealership. Very friendly and willing to assist. Out of town and needed a tire plugged. Wasn't able to get that done because the service... department was closed.
After buying two new cars here I am being treated terribly! My car is in need of a part that can cause my car to fail and they never told me it was a safety... issue until I pressed them on it!! I drove it for weeks waiting on the part that still is not in. After I found out about the safety issue I was given a lesser car as a loaner. Still can not get the manager to return my call after he promised he would. Service manager was the same. Avoid them at all costs!
