Finally got home at 927pm after a 215pm appointment. Oh ya and they still didnt fix the recall issue. Everyone there was brain dead or something. They... first said someone spliced into it. So I asked them to show me. After cutting some zip ties away i shined the light again and asked where the splice was that they were talking about. Oh amazing the splice just disappeared lol. He kept saying the harness was tampered with so I asked to unbundle harness while still connected and show me. Sure enough the harness has complete connection and no wires tampered with. I had him trace the aftermarket wiring straight to the battery finding no splicing what so ever. So removed all aftermarket wiring and disconnected it all so they couldn't use that excuse no more. They replaced the BLS but for some reason couldn't figure out how to set it. In the end they used some stupid excuse saying every car is different some accept changes and others dont. Rofl. A bunch of xxxxing amateurs there. Dont ever go there guys. As a licensed aircraft mechanic myself (#3774519) I was not impressed with any of their mechanics or technicians there even the guy who introduced himself as the shop foreman. Share this post and pass along the word to other Los Angeles Subaru folks to save them this grief. I've had much better service from guys who are much more knowledgeable at Puente Hills Subaru.
First when you go there to have your car serviced no coffee, no hot chocolate.but most of all they are going to make you wait for an hour and half for... shuttle service to pick you up.youll xall them 5x to follow up on shuttle service and still they would make you wait on the phone and forget about you. I feel sooo frustrated.never go there

I had a service appointment and was attended promptly by Peter. I didn?t have to wait long for a courtesy car to drive me home while my car was being serviced.... Peter kept me updated on the service being done and approximate time it will finish. Then he promptly arranged for a car to pick me up from my house back to the dealer to get my car. Very efficient! All the staff are friendly. My car was washed and clean when I got it. As always, I received Exceptional service from Subaru Sherman Oaks service center.
Good service. No complaints. Will return for service.
Great customer service, friendly and professional. They explain the work being done on the car.
Always a friendly welcome, Service done in the stated time, All service items completed and work well done by qualified mechanics.
Subaru of Sherman Oaks took great care of my car's needs and did it in a timely manner.
The experience i got from the dealer and the staff was great. Very friendly and kind as soon as you arrive.
I had such a bad experience with another dealership that I switched to this dealership 2 years ago and so far have had a great service experience.
Back in 2010, I was driving an 09 Toyota Camry. I went to Subaru of Santa Monica and test drove the Impreza. I loved it, and wanted to see about trading... in the Camry. Well, everyone was nice until they ran the numbers, then they blew me off. They didn't even tell me what my options if any were. My sales rep never returned my calls, so I called the manager who did the deal. He was extremely rude, gave me no details, and abruptly ended the call. I was credit challenged, but at the time I had about $6,000 for a down payment and a co-signer, but they didn't bother to ask. I went back to Toyota and traded my Camry for a 2010 FJ Cruiser, which I kept for 6 years. I'd outgrown the FJ and decided to give Subaru another shot I worked hard to clean up my credit. When I went to Subaru of Sherman Oaks, the customer service was like night and day. I ended up leasing a 2016 Outback. The experience was excellent. After two years, I didn't feel like it had enough umpf. I took my car in for service last month and said how annoying the lack of pick up was. One of the sales reps said he could see about getting me out of my lease and into the 3.6. I emailed him later that evening and told him what I wanted. He had the car, and the next day I signed a new lease on a 2017 3.6 Outback. Because of the bad experience I had with Subaru of Santa Monica, I almost dismissed the brand.
