My experience with Dependable Dodge has been so
My experience with Dependable Dodge has been so persistently frustrating and unprofessional that I feel obligated to warn others. I wanted to buy my car from Dependable Dodge. It's conveniently located near both my home and my workplace, and supporting a local business made sense - until I actually tried to give them my business. They didn't have the vehicle I was looking for and made no real effort to locate or acquire it. On top of that, they couldn't offer competitive pricing, nor did they seem particularly interested in trying. I ended up purchasing my car from a dealership much farther away--one that *delivered* the vehicle to me--because they showed initiative and treated me with respect. Unfortunately, the real problems began after I got the car. Because Dependable Dodge is the closest authorized dealership, I turned to them multiple times to resolve several issues with the vehicle. But visit after visit, their service department has proven dismissive, unhelpful, and, frankly, incompetent. Issue 1: Intermittent Red Wrench Warning The red wrench warning light appears and disappears at random. When I first brought it in, they plugged in a diagnostic tool and found "nothing serious." The next time, they wouldn't even bother checking it--because the alert wasn't active at that exact moment. Apparently, unless a warning light happens to be visible while you're parked in their service bay, they're unwilling to investigate further. That's not diagnostic work; that's avoidance. Issue 2: Speaker Rattling The speakers in the car rattle. I left the vehicle with them specifically to address this. They claimed it was "fixed," but the problem persisted. On my return visit, the service manager told me, verbatim, that they were going to "pass on it" because they had already tried once. "Pass on it"? What kind of service center gives up on unresolved problems and tells the customer they're done trying? Especially after only one try! Issue 3: Remote Key Malfunction The remote frequently fails to lock or unlock the car, sometimes entirely unresponsive. When I brought this up, they had zero interest in investigating or troubleshooting it. Again - dismissed without even the courtesy of a basic check. Issue 4: Tailgate Wiring Pinch There's a plastic grommet where wiring runs from the body of the car to the tailgate. On the right-hand side, this gets pinched between the tailgate and the frame every time it closes--something that doesn't happen on the left side. I brought this up too. The dealership's response? *"There's nothing we can do about it." No attempt to adjust, no consideration for long-term damage. Just flat-out refusal. Those are just the most prominent issues. There are more. What makes it worse is how I was treated when I escalated my concerns to Ed, the owner of the dealership. His attitude was shockingly rude. He coldly asked if I bought the car there - as if that somehow justified poor treatment. I explained that I had tried to buy the car from them but couldn't due to their lack of effort. Then, in an almost surreal moment, he said that he owns the same car and "there's another problem with it every day." Excuse me? That's what a dealer says to a paying customer--someone who spent real money on a vehicle and is now being given the runaround? He didn't even buy his car - I did! I'm a customer. I shouldn't be treated like an inconvenience simply because I didn't purchase through their sales department, especially when I tried to. Bottom line: Dependable Dodge has demonstrated a lack of professionalism, integrity, and basic customer service--both in their sales approach and in their service department. I gave them more than one chance to do right. They failed at every turn. If you're thinking about buying or servicing your car here, I strongly urge you to reconsider. Go somewhere that values your time, your money, and your trust. Because this place? It's anything but dependable.

Just picked up my truck after four days service.
Just picked up my truck after four days service. Immediately check engine light came back on and DEF system error message. Brought it back and told them. I need them to drop it off since this cost me about an hour of my time and gas. Was told they don’t do that.So wasted my time and money and no solution for me. Terrible mechanics, probably better to find a gas station mechanic that knows what they’re doing. I have no idea how this place has high ratings on this.
