Terrible customer service with the purchase of my 2018 Jeep Wrangler. Having issues with air leak around windshield. Salesjerk (Austin Shephard) promised... it was a quick and easy fix. It has been 11 days. After the initial phone call from the service department my wife or I have had to call them every day to get a status update. Each time they say it will be ready the following day. Each day we have to call them when it isn't ready. We picked up the Jeep after the first week, drove off the lot only to discover the problem hasn't been fixed. Clearly they never did a test drive. Spoke with John Bissot the general manager who assured me that this is not how they do business despite the fact that this is how they do business with me. I don't presume to be special in this regard. If you dare do business with this dealership at the very least avoid Austin Shephard and assume nothing, get everything in writing and buyer beware! This would be a zero star review if it were possible. My recommendation is to go to Phoenix to buy a new Dodge, Chrysler or Jeep. The only positive experience was with finance. All in all STAY AWAY!
Worst experience owning a vehicle, took 5 weeks to repair major warranty work. On a 4 year old truck i bought there. Such a bad experience I decided to... never own a Dodge, because I can't count on this dealership, I have owned 6 dodge trucks but don't have time or want hassle to get repairs for vehicles I bought there. They are great at selling vehicles, but suck when you want the vehicle fixed. Can't refer any one to this dealership, I'm from here born and raised. I am disappointed. I picked my truck up finally today and drove straight to another dealer and bought a 60,000 truck from a dealer that cares. Lots I want to say about York but I won't waste a lot of their time like they did mine .Horrible service getting the vehicle you bought from them fixed. What comes around goes around. Not Veteran friendly was my experience. Wouldn't take a free truck from them at this point. Won't own another Dodge thanks to this experience
I've had the pleasure of purchasing two brand new Jeeps from York Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram in Prescott, Arizona in the past 14 months. On both occasions... I felt that from the General Manager to Finance; all genuinely liked what they were doing, knew their products, and were innovative in their ideas. Their vehicle inventory never hurts, either. Whether it be upgraded tires and lift or full blown Rubicon Unlimited to JK-8 pickup conversion, York is doing it. John, their outstanding General Manager, Chris, Scott, the 'Jeep Guy', Thomas in Service, all the team are knowledgeable, approachable, and looking to make a deal. My window for monthly payments would really determine whether I could purchase the vehicle or not. It was that simple. They bent over backwards to meet that window, and actually came in under it! A new Jeep is everything I've been looking for in past Jeeps I've owned, and for once I don't feel like I have to rush out and buy a new bumper, winch, or... Well, I've never known a Jeep owner that didn't dump thousands into it. After all, 'Jeep' does stand for 'Just Empty Every Pocket'. I am very happy with the deal(s) I have received at York and also know good people when I am around them. York has their finger on the pulse of the local 'Jeep Community', and is certainly, in my opinion, the best Dodge / Jeep Dealership in northern Arizona. Our thanks to all there.
I AM STILL WAITING FOR A CALL FROM THE PAINT PROTECTION PEOPLE THAT I PAID FOR WHEN I BOUGHT THE JEEP. THE JEEP IS GREAT, EVEN MY WIFE LIKES IT AND SHE... NORMALLY DON'T LIKE ANYTHING.
I have a new 2017 Pacifica. I have had it serviced 3 times by York. When they schedule I always tell them that I am pretty much confined to a wheelchair... and I have only the Van for transportation. None of the times that I have been to the dealership has that information ever been relayed to the customer service rep. Yesterday I had an email telling me of the known recall for engine stalling in this model. There are some 153,000 involved in the recall. So I called the dealership and they scheduled me in to have the update done today at 1030. When I got there they had no idea what I was there for, that I had to wait or had a handicapped which limited what I can do. So they take my van back and 30 minutes later the service rep tells me that they cannot do the update and they don't have the software yet. So why did they waste my time bringing me into the dealership?? As this is not the first time I have had poor customer service I will not bring my vehicle back into York for Service. I would rather drive out of town and find and dealership that cares about their customers.
Bad bad, went in for a safety recall for clock spring on my Jeep Wranger. nothing was wrong, just the recall, but when I was going to pick it up the ASB... light was on and the alarm was going off. The service manager (Tobby) said it would be $3,500.00 to repair it. I said it was'nt like that when I came in.Basically he said that the it is nothing he could do. I talk to (John Bissot) and he said the same thing then try to sell me a different car. The Jeep is worth about $8000.00 . Putting $3,500.00 would be stupid. Now I have a Jeep that the alarm is going off every second. Can't drive it. What was a safety recall turn my Jeep into junk. DON'T USED YORK DODGE
GreT llace to buy and get service done. Mike Strickland was our salesman.....he was great. Ryan in parts took great care when I needed a rush item installed... to be able to flat tow our new Jeep behing our motorhome.
Excellent experience with looking at used cars and eventually purchasing a new truck. Overall the entire staff was honest and compassionate to our guidelines... and desires.
