Started out as a rough experience. Nick Johnson took over my truck repairs, and was fantastic. I would recommend him and his team for all GM repairs.

Stay Away

Don't shop here. They have horrible customer service! Bought a car from them that immediately started having problems at 35000 miles, and then even though I had purchased the warranty through them, they tried to get me to take it to the dealership and pay full price for the repair.

Service department

??This was my first time having Lancaster Motor service my vehicle. I was very pleased with the simple process. I had to wait longer than I wanted but the gentleman came in and explained why and even gave me a discount without me asking. I will definitely return for my next visit.

Poor Workmanship and marked up parts

They do not honor their workmanship. On Saturday, October 6, 2018 I took my 2004 Chevrolet Malibu to Lancaster Chevrolet for a front break issue. I received a call from the service department that the car could not be driven until the breaks were repaired. The technician told me that they were keeping the car and that they would follow up with me on Monday, October 8, 2018. During a discussion with Lancaster Chevrolet that week I was informed that my front calipers had to be replaced along with the breaks and rotors. The bill totaled $1114.29 and I was informed that the parts were covered under warranty for twelve (12) months. On Friday, February, 8, 2019 the same vehicle had to be towed home because the front breaks were locking and the vehicle was smoking. The vehicle was towed to the South Charlotte Chevrolet (SCC), the nearest dealership. On Monday, February 11, 2019 South Charlotte Chevrolet informed me that the front calipers, brakes and rotors needed to be replaced. I explained that the work was done only three and a half months ago by Lancaster Chevrolet. SCC informed me that the previous technician installed the parts incorrectly as a result, voiding my warranty with Chevrolet. Both dealerships are under the same company. The parts are warranted by the company. I had to pay $983.53 for the exact same vehicle repairs on February 11, 2019. I requested a refund from Lancaster Motor Company 1. improper installation or 2. products and labor under warranty. GM Customer Assistance Center also told Lancaster Motor Company to refund my money. They mark up their parts by double the amount. Stay away from this dealership.
