I had a real bad experience with this dealership that

I had a real bad experience with this dealership that started with bringing my truck to them for a recall. I was informed that if they attempted to complete the recall which required opening the engine, I would have to agree that they would not be responsible if my truck did not crank afterwards. I opted not to take this risk and when I took it home the engine was leaking oil. The engine had never leaked before. I took it back to the dealership and was told that in order to fix the leak it would be over $2000. The communication with this dealership was broken, it felt like there was a lack of transparency, and the technician did not seem to know what he was doing. After several communications with the service department, the service manager took over and still did not resolve the problem in a way that I found acceptable. I strongly recommended not taking your vehicle when you have a RECALL over that.

Bought new 2024 ram.

Bought new 2024 ram. Had an electrical issue I wanted checked. Wife and I are retired and this is only vehicle. Got an appointment for 9:00’am on 7/9/24. Got there and said only drop offs for non oil changes. Electrical issues were 2-3 weeks out and don’t offer any type of loner - no matter what the issue is Would never had bought from this dealer if they were decent enough to give you this info when purchasing. We’ll take your money but don’t expect any courtesy on shop service

I recently took my 2018 Dodge Ram 1500 into Lander in

I recently took my 2018 Dodge Ram 1500 into Lander in Southaven Mississippi. The service manager first told me the part was 2 weeks out then called and said that the parts would be in in a few days. Then they put the part they claimed was messed up on my truck in which was a air compressor for the nitrogen airbag system. They claim they drove it test drove it but it only had a half a mile on it from the time I left it till I went to pick it up. I drove it down the road 5 Mi the truck sat down on his frame they didn't fix nothing it was worse than what it was when I brought it in there. I then called them back they claimed there was a module they needed to replace but they wasn't making those modules yet it could be a year or more out. I had already paid them $2,900 to fix my truck and they only made it worse. I called tried to talk to everybody and no one could answer my questions I even asked to speak in xxxx the general manager Matthew daughtery to return my phone call and as of this day he still hasn't and I still haven't gotten my refund for something they tore up on my truck worse than what it was when I bought it in there. I consider their service department and their leadership fraudulent. They do not stand behind their word and I definitely do not return phone calls I have a text from when my truck was in there to confirm that they did not fix it right. All I asked for was my money back since they didn't know what they were doing again no replies back from the general manager all the way down to their service manager very dissatisfied

Terrible.

Terrible. I waited 3 weeks to get my truck in shop to be put on a computer had an appointment. Get there on a Saturday morning at 8 o’clock and get told by the service gut that I have to leave it for about 3 or 4 days before they will even look at it. I said nobody explained that. I was like I have been waiting 3 weeks to get this looked at and he was well there’s nothing I can do. So I left. They are not professional there at all so don’t buy a Dodge. Going to trade for me a Toyota.

Not happy

I’m not a happy customer. I bought a truck from y’all about 3 to 4 weeks ago and everything was great, but got called today about my trade in price and I owed $640 something dollars. Does this dealship go by what there told or do they find out before you sing the papers. I thought when I signed the papers it was a done deal. I got called and said I owed $650 and that sounds like your people are not doing there job. I’m not a happy customer and have bought 3 trucks only one from y’all in the last 4 years but I think this is not good business. I don’t think I would ever buy a vehicle from Landers again because of this. You should make sure everything is final before people take the vehicle. Thanks Ben Mccaleb

Service and 3week wait time seemed extream

3 week wait list for a front end inspection. I also have a warranty that will expire before then and they offered no solution even when it was there fault.

Landers Service Department is Incompetent

Purchased a 2020 RAM Rebel off the showroom floor with only 50 miles on the speedometer. This was my first brand new vehicle ever. I was washing my new truck and discovered water in the driver's side front floor board while shop vacuuming. Dropped off at Landers. Stan was an excellent service guy. They said they had to replace the door seal, but the part would take a week to arrive. Once the seal arrived, they discovered the issue was in another area and assured me it was repaired. They returned my truck with a door seal that was installed backwards, a deep scratch on my door handle, a scratch on my console, the floor was still soaked with water, and mud in the cab. See the pictures. I dropped my Rebel back off at Landers and the manager, Larry, agreed to fix the leak and the scratch on the door handle. He did not agree to fix the scratch on the console. He basically called me a liar by not fixing it. He reassured me my truck would be taken better care of. A week later, my leak is fixed, my door handle is fixed, but my console is still scratched. And they returned my truck even dirtier than before. There were tar-like smears on areas around my windshield, hood and doors. My conclusion: The sales staff and service staff I dealt with were great. The mechanics and service workers in the back do not take pride in their work and generally seem to not be trained very well. There is no quality control. I have my previous vehicle to measure my opinion by. I owned a Tundra for 8 years and never had a single issue with the service or mechanics. I will be looking for another Ram dealership to have my oil changes, tire rotations, and service work done.

Great experience

Lamar Dean is someone that I trust. He doesn’t try and sell me services that I do not need. He does make recommendations but never pushes me into something.
