Joel Ruff provided excellent service and guidance when we were looking for an X5. He was knowledgeable and patient with all our questions. He was no pressure... and a pleasure to work with. It was a win-win from start to finish!
My first experience with a BMW dealer turned out to be among the best car-buying experiences ever. Joel Ruff at BMW of Asheville, NC, first determined... what I wanted, walked me through what cars had what features, and then left me alone to choose. Once I had selected my car of choice Joel was prompt with follow-up, answered all questions thoroughly and quickly. I never felt alone or uninformed during this buying process. If you want a pleasant car-buying experience, I unreservedly recommend Joel Ruff.
We saw the ad for an EV that we wanted and the price sounded right. We went to look at it and the car was in great shape as advertised. We took a test... drive and decided to buy. We came back the next day and the closing process was smooth and quick. It was a very positive experience. I highly recommend BMW of Asheville.
I just took delivery of my X7 M50i! What a great car! The buying experience was a joy as well thanks to my representative Joel Ruff! Great guy and pays... close attention to all details and customer satisfaction! Highly recommend!
ordered a new bmw for pickup at bmw performance delivery center at Greer, SC. This is my 3rd car bought new from BMW AVL and all three purchases were... of highest quality.
I called ahead to find out how much new brake fluid cost. “$120 plus tax,” the service department lady said. I made an appointment. It wound up costing... $203. What they don’t tell you is they charge $60 to reset your dash. A tax by any other name.
I just purchased my first BMW, X1 I had the pleasure of working with Jack Rowland. Jack was easy to work with, no pressure as I was deciding about buying... a new X1 or X3 BMW. He found the car I wanted in the right color and all the extras I wanted. I’m happy I had a good experience working with BMW, customer care is the key and they provided that for me. I also worked with Joel, he was very helpful and pleasant to work with. I met the Sales Manager, Mark Miller, he gave me his card, some useful information and made sure things were going smoothly. Nice experience.
Do not expect to be treated fairly if you are purchasing and wanting to get fair value for your trade in. They offered me way below Kelly Blue Book value... for a dealer trade in value and about one half of what their web site indicated . I felt cheated and misled and left angry. Taking my business elsewhere in the future. Greenville and Charlotte are not that far away!
We traded five Lexus’ over the Christmas 2019 holiday w BMW of Asheville. Normally my car buying experience is so harrowing, it can take me several months... to make a deal. Our experience was supercalifragilisticexpialidocious and we ended up buying two BMW’s and took our daughter back to trade her two Lexus’ for a BMW as well. Jack Rowland was very patient, thorough, respectful and knowledgeable. Mark Miller treated us w utmost and complete respect. Mark acted as though our business was truly important to him. We tried trading w the dealer in Kingsport, TN and Greenville, SC. They jerked us around on pricing. This behavior was simply not present at AVL BMW. BTW, I am a female and felt completely comfortable that I was not being exploited in any way. Kelly Flowers completed out paperwork and was a complete joy! She was thorough, quick and certainly knew her stuff. Maria, the BMW genius, assisted us w the operational aspects of our M850I Gran Coupe and X740i. She made us completely comfortable driving the car off of the lot. I will send all of my friends to BMW of Asheville to deal w these fine folks and you should too!!!!!
I was set up to purchase a used BMW convertible. Jack Rowland was my salesman. We had settled on a reasonable price, and I was approved for financing.... The car was sold and all that needed to be done, was to have the car and paperwork shipped to Ohio. Instead, Jack Rowland and the sales manager, Mark Miller chose to sell the car out from under me on the day my sale was finalized. Mark Miller then proceeds to call me and try to feed me a line of excuses and lies. If that unprofessional stunt wasn't enough. They both had the audacity to contact me again trying to sell me another car. None of which, were actually anything similar to the car I was purchasing. It astonishes me to think that after treating a customer this way, that I would still be willing to deal with them in any manner. It's unfortunate that neither of these individuals were raised to be honest and have integrity. It's no wonder why car salesmen get the reputation they do. While this may be their normal way of doing business at this BMW dealership, it will not be how I choose to conduct my business. At least, after several back and forth emails with Jack Rowland. He was honest enough to admit that my suspicions were right and they did in fact knowingly sell the car out from under me. As some one who works in sales. It is unfathomable to me that you would treat a potential customer this way. In the end, If your looking for a vehicle and you are willing to deal with a dishonest and sleazy sales department. Give Mark Miller and Jack Rowland a call, as this is the dealership for you.
