I recently had a deeply frustrating experience at Crenshaw Hyundai. I initially spoke with a sales rep named Jeremy over the phone regarding a specific Palisade model listed on their website (I even had the stock number). Jeremy confirmed the car was available and encouraged me to come in. I also discussed a trade-in offer from CarMax and asked about a $2,000 discount shown online. He assured me that he’d either match it or factor it into the trade-in deal. Everything sounded good — until I actually arrived. Here’s where it fell apart: Jeremy wasn’t there for the appointment, though I was told they were expecting me. I asked about the specific car — instead, I was shown several other models and was told they were “trying to find it” across their three lots. After an hour of waiting, I was informed the car had been sold three days ago. Why did Jeremy tell me it was available? A manager then said he could source a similar vehicle for the same price the next day. I said I’d consider it, and they brought me a single VIN on paper, no photos or details. I asked for basic information and a breakdown of the deal. Instead, I was told to agree on price first — which was $4,000 more than the original listing. When I pushed back and asked for clarity before signing anything, the rep suddenly told me the offer was no longer valid because I didn't commit earlier — to a deal with no written specs, no photos, and no transparency. 🚨 Bottom Line: Misleading info to get you in the door High-pressure tactics Refusal to provide basic details before demanding a signature Price bait-and-switch behavior I cannot recommend Crenshaw Hyundai based on this experience. Do not sign anything until you see all details in writing, and double-check that the vehicle exists and matches what was promised. This was the worst dealership experience I’ve had — completely unprofessional and deceptive.

Sold me a RUSTY 2025 Pallisade. Don’t buy, you will definitely regret and no one helps. I also have a video of cars on their lot right now BEING SOLD WITH RUST. Give the a call ask! Thanks to Tony @ Crenshaw Hyundai in Burlington

Wish I could load the videos and pictures for proof on here. Crenshaw Hyundai has them and they blocked me from the social media. That’s pathetic

This afternoon my AC stopped blowing, I took my 2020 Sonata up to Crenshaw’s service dept and spoke to Greg who had me back on the road in ten minutes. Greg is one of the first people at any dealership who actually put the customer first actually had a personality and was very professional.

My contact with the salesperson was limited.
My contact with the salesperson was limited. I am looking for a car that is not available except for 1 other dealer. The salesperson at this dealer informed me readily that the vehicle I had enquired about was sold. He was not sure when their next one would be shipped to them. He would check during the first full week of July. I have heard from him so I thinking none were scheduled. That seems to be the way it is for the EV that I want. I am starting to think next year. I won't stop looking but am likely to slow down my activity searching for a while.

Bought 2020 vehicle last week. When opening the back at home noticed a small dent with paint chipped down to metal which was rusting. Sent several emails to my salesperson (first one 5/24) and a text to number saying they were my salesperson thanking me for my purchase. Told them I was asking about the rust spot and also before purchase I was told that a black smudge spot would be removed (wasn't done). 5/25 receive text apologizing for late response asking for pictures to show their shop manager. Sent pictures. Responded that it was a previously owned vehicle and that it was a minor imperfection. Also if I wanted to bring the car back for the smudge spot would have the cleaner go over the mark. I answered that I didn't believe that it was a minor imperfection and if I had seen it would not have purchased the vehicle until it was taken care of. They replied that they would check to see if they had the right paint and if repair would be noticeable and wanted me to be happy with purchase. Then another text asking for pictures again. This morning I received a text that whoever I was talking to had checked with their manager and that they had taken the spot into consideration when pricing the vehicle. Okay if that were the case why did they not tell me that to begin with and why did they not show me the spot and explain that it was figured into the price (it seems a reputable dealer would). I suggest that you not lead someone on about repairing the vehicle before checking to see how much it would cut into your profit. That way you wouldn't have to use the excuse that this was figured into the price. Never dealt with this dealership before and after this experience would definitely not recommend.

We were shopping for a new car and we went to Crenshaw Hyundai first because we purchased a Sonata there 7 years ago . We were happy with the experience then so, it only made sense to go back. Well, we pleasantly surprised to find the vehicle that we were looking for, and we felt that we received a fair deal. Sheena was outstanding and we truly enjoyed her.
