This is a review of the service department, not the sales

This is a review of the service department, not the sales department. I ordered four new Michelin tires for my 2001 Dodge Ram and was told they would be in the shop in about four days. I waited, and I waited. and I waited. I did not call again because if they cannot get this much right, I really did not want to deal with them. So I started looking for another dealer. Four weeks later they called and said that they had my tires. Great, its an hour away so I made an appointment. I arrived a few minutes early and spoke with "Tim" I explained to him that I would like the truck serviced, but only if it could be done while the tires were being installed so that it did not increase my wait time. He said he could do that, and I asked if the service included checking my differential and transfer case oil levels, and he assured me that it did and that he could have both done in one hour. Great, two birds, one stone, do it man! 50 minutes in, Tim came to me and told me that his balancer did not work and I had the option of coming back another time or allowing extra time so that he could take the tires to a competitor to have balanced. I expected this to ad an hour, but that was better than the two hours it would take for me to come back round trip. Then he mentioned that they had not mounted the tires yet, so they still had to do that before they took the tires to their competitor. From this I realized they had not touched the tires in the first 50 minutes. Nevertheless I said go ahead, but it pretty well peed me off. So I wandered around back to see what was really going on and watched a while they had started changing the tires, but there was a new problem. When I came in I explained to "Tim" that one of the tires on my truck was a spare, (it should have been obvious because it was not on a custom rim like the others) but just in case I explained the new tires went on the custom rim, not the spare. Well, I discovered them putting the new tire on the spare tire! So, they put all of the tires on the rims, put all the rims in the back of a shop truck to take to a competitor to balance, but they had ordered, and put on the wrong tires!! aggghghhgh!!!! They had to take the new tires back off of the rims and put my old tires back on the rims and onto the truck. But they had pulled the weights off of my old tires so that now none of my tires were balanced and they refused to balance my tires. I refused to leave until they put my truck back in the same condition that it was in when I gave it to them to work on. They called the police and forced me to leave on my now unbalanced rims. To top it off, if you recall from the beginning, that I made sure that they serviced the differentials and transfer cases? They have already finished the service, but I can see that they did not check the oil in the differentials or the transfer case.

My husband and I went to the Wood Dealership from a friend's recommendation. We were pleasantly surprised to find the relaxed and non-aggressive treatment on purchasing a new vehicle from the Nissan side of the Wood Dealership. Our salesman was Jacob Frisbie and he couldn't have been more accommodating and helpful when choosing the Titan my husband purchased. He was honest and very knowledgeable on every point. We did not walk away feeling like we didn't know what just happened...no buyers remorse, either. We are VERY happy with our experience at this dealership. I would recommend going to Wood in Harrison if you want a great experience buying your new vehicle!

BOUGHT OUR PATHFINDER PLATINUM 2023 IN APRIL.

BOUGHT OUR PATHFINDER PLATINUM 2023 IN APRIL. OUTSIDE TILT MIRRORS BOTH AT SAME TIME TILTED DOWN WHEN PUTTING CAR IN REVERSE.. THEY QUIT WORKING LIKE THAT IN NOVEM BER..WE HAVE HAD IT 3 TIMES FOR REPAIR TO NO AVAIL. THE DEALERSHIP WILL NOT EVEN LOOK AT THE CAR. SAYS THEY CANNOT FIX IT BECAUSE IT IS WORKING PROPERLY. THE SAD PART IS THE SALES MANAGER ALAN PARKS SHOWED MY WIFE HOW THE MIRRORS WORK AND HE WILL NOT STAND UP FOR US

GREAT EXPERIENCE AT WOOD MOTORS NISSAN SERVICE

I had a recall on my Nissan key fob. Made an appointment at Springfield Nissan. Drove up from Hollister. When I got there they wanted 2 keys. I had one. They said that when I made the appointment they should have told me to bring both keys. Went all the way there for nothing. They wouldn't do it. On the way home I called Wood Motors. They gave me an appointment for the next day at 10 AM. It was a shorter drive and more beautiful drive from Hollister. When I got there Kap Johnson took care of the check-in. Very cordial and nice. Where Springfield Nissan told me it would take an hour, Wood had me in and out in 30 minutes. I will always use Wood for anything related to my NIssan.

Good deal #8

Thanks to Lamarr Watkins and the sales crew at Wood Chevy in Harrison. LW and co had to deal with a cranky old phart that set a limit that was set in stone (sorta). This crew put a pkg together that was workable for all. IIRC, this is the 8th car we have purchased from Wood in the near 40 years we have lived in the area. It is the service that brought us back to Wood.

Courteous and professional Service Department

Where do I go now?

Car in shop for loud rattle under drivers side. They called and said it is fixed, it is not!!!! Low mileage Jeep has been in and out of their shop for the same thing several times. Car is still under warranty!!!!
