I purchased a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado truck in January

I purchased a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado truck in January 2024. I drove the truck for 1227 miles and the transmission went out. I bought the truck As Is, but I paid top dollar for the truck and feel that I had a right to expect more than 1227 miles out of it. I returned to the dealer and was told 'too bad'. As a senior citizen, I feel that I was taken advantage of by this dealership and would advise all potential customers, especially senior citizens, to avoid making purchases from this dealership.

Absolutely fantastic customer service!

Absolutely fantastic customer service! We went in to buy and had such a great experience! A lot of dealerships I dread going to, but Clay Maxey Ford was a no hassle ordeal! Stacy King was so easy to work with and made us feel comfortable through the whole process step by step. The entire staff was top notch and made sure all of our questions were answered. We are very happy with our new ride and we will definitely come back!

Very friendly. Very knowledgeable of the vehicle. Easy financing. I highly recommend this place to anyone. The dealer called next day to check on us.

Full service dealership!

Jeremy Clary was my salesman and he did a fantastic job! His customer service and down to earth communication is what mattered! They even have a great service team to schedule your car services with. Will always buy from Clay Maxey Ford!

Dirty floor mats

Almost every time I take my vehicle in for an oil change they do not use the paper mats and I get into my car with big oil or dirty shoe/boot prints. They have washed my mats, gave me new ones (when the stains wouldn’t come out) and then again today no mat. We have complained but they still continue to not use. They do offer to clean mats but we shouldn’t have to do this every time.

Bought used 2010 Ford Escape

I wouldn’t recommend buying a vehicle from Clay Maxey. They use old car selling gimmicks that remind me of high pressure sales of a by gone time. I had my words twisted to make a sale. After deciding to go with the deal I had high pressure to buy an extended warranty. The old what will it take to sell you a car technique was used. I gave a price I thought they would go for. After haggling they finally agreed to my Offer. I felt trapped. I would never have made any offer but got talked into it. I don’t want the car but now I am stuck. I will not do they one thing I can do that’s stop payment on the check. I won’t do it I have more ethics than they have. I’ll have to register the car when I get the title I’ll have to sell the car

Never again

We took our car there for service. The repair was suppose to take 7 and a half hours. The lady from service dept. calls me halfway through the day, and asks if they can finish my car tomorrow,because “they” are two cars behind.. not our fault! I said ok but it needs to be done around noon, my Husband works nights and there is no one else to take me to pickup my car. We hear nothing the next day, then my Husband calls around 12:30 that next day, and they tell him it won’t be done until 2. He drives me there knowing he might be late for work, we live 45 minutes away. When we get there he asks for some kind of compensation free oil change.. anything, because we were inconvenienced. When he talks to the manager to explain what happened to us, he was extremely rude, even tried to have my Husband arrested, just for telling the truth. I will never recommend them, it’s obvious they don’t care about their customers, they have lost our business!

Painless car buying.

I contacted Clay Maxey Ford through cars.com. They promptly responded and I started a line of communication with Blake Scott about purchasing the vehicle. It was over an hour drive from my house to the dealership, but it was well worth it. The purchasing process was very trouble free and I am very happy with my truck and the service they provided.
