Thank you for your confidence in Hi-Country Kia, and for your business. We are grateful to have you as a customer!
Highly Recommend High Country KIA Farmington, NM
I had been to several dealerships and experienced several more sales representatives exploring my options for seeking my new purchase. My KIA salesperson Keenan sold the quality of the dealership, and vehicle, and was the best sales representative by far. He was very informed, highlighted my vehicle's qualities, and was positive. He asked my permission for all actions we took with no pressure. Keenan had exceptional communication skills in listening to what I wanted and matching me to suggestions. That really helped me to not feel overwhelmed or pressured. In addition, I asked him questions about vehicles and he was able to answer without hesitation and knew the vehicles. I’ll be honest that walked into KIA as our last task of the day and had no intentions of buying that specific day; doing my personal due diligence. However, he was so open, honest, positive, and he made the turn around for me to chose to walk off the grounds with my new KIA Niro.

Friendly and great service
Every time I come in to get my car serviced, the service crew and manager are always polite and friendly. I love that they offer a car wash.

Bad KIA motor leads to poor purchase & service
I was on vacation and my KIA motor decided to die. Since this is a going problem KIA extended the warranty. So I've done all my maintenance thru my local dealer and taken good care of my car that left me stranded. Had to have it towed 97 miles to this dealer. Waited 2 days in a hotel with no information on my car of how to continue my vacation, anything about a rental car, or what was the next step. After my own research I had to ask about the new motor. They still didn't tell me that. Finally took a taxi to the dealer to try to move up the process. Currently more then $700 out of my pocket in tow and hotels. Was informed they had no rentals. Was informed they still had no answers from corporate but it would take over a week to change out the motor. I ask, is my only option to buy a new car to get out of here? They tell me I can go talk to the sales staff. Was not my plan to buy a new car with no real big options of what to buy since I had to buy from them, and low car stock. Then we discuss a car and they give me sticker price plus add ons and only $3000 for my trade in. Hmmmm what a deal for what I've already been thru. I left the chair and headed back to the service department. To the manager that had no answers for me. We ended up buying a new car to head down the road. I have yet to have an answer on my claim for the $700 out of pocket expenses. They text my husband to say they short charged on the taxes would we be nice enough to pay them anyways. The called wondering about my title, but I have yet to get a title on the new car that my 30 day tags are going to expire on. I've left 3 messages for a returned call from the service manager and sales manager. Apparently since I won't give them more money, they don't want to talk to me anymore. This is a KIA nightmare, that has turned into a Hi Country nightmare, and all out of my control. If you have a KIA beware there are 30 of them in my home town in the shop waiting on motors. It sucks to be left stranded with no customer service either from another dealer. Come home to find out I don't have a local Mitsibushi dealer in my town. Also no spare tire, but I can fix it myself on the side of the road and drive it to a nearby town to get it repaired if I make it that far. 2 problems I found when I returned home with my new car.

I went in to buy the new Kia Stinger GT, and was treated very well. The sales people were courteous and professional. They were very easy to deal with and there wasn?t any pressure.

Communication is Key!
I recently traded in a vehicle with Hi-Country dealership in Farmington, NM and there was definitely some communication issues that need to be applied. There's here say between the staff at the dealers ship and no one seems to be on the same page with their business process; which make me "the customer" more confused about the situation of trading in a vehicle. I the costumer and paying the price now have to make several trips back to the dealership trying to get their mistake corrected. That's money out of my pocket for travels for the issue that is still trying to be resolved a week and a half after my trade in. Soooooo frustrating.

Ambreya, we regret to hear that you had a negative experience with us, but would appreciate the chance to turn your experience around.
Wouldn't buy anything from Hi-Counrty!!!!
The vehicle Hi-Counrty listed on the website was not an available vehicle for purchase. In fact, this vehicle listed on the website was actually the courtesy driving vehicle. I was contacted after placing my interest in this vehicle by the Internet department to come in and look at it, the girl couldn't even pronounce the name of the vehicle correctly. I set up to look at the vehicle and contacted the dealership the day of the appointment to confirm the vehicle would be ready for viewing. It was then that they sent me on a wild goose chase and finally spoke with the sales manager. The sales manager then stated what vehicle it was and offered to sell me a higher priced vehicle and demanded I to go to a further location to see it. When I stated I wasn't able to accommodate his demands of driving further than what was arranged for purchasing what he wanted to sell me, he hung up on me. This dealership is a farce and only places vehicles on sites to get people into the door and then states excuses why that vehicle is not available. They false advertise only to sell something else after getting your contact information. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH HI-COUNRTY IN FARMINGTON OR AZTEC, NEW MEXICO!!!!!
