Service Department is just not good.

Service Department is just not good. In my experience, they will do only the minimum. Tell you something is checked but not check it. The customer must specifically ask for recall work or service bulletin work as the Service Department will not check to see if there as outstanding issues for your vehicle that you bought from them. You must verify on the work order what has been done as the Service writers don't actually check anything. And, never make an appointment close to lunchtime as all the techs be out and you have to wait to find out if something was actually done. Just a total I don't care attitude with zero evidence they want to get any better.

Great experience buying our new car!

We saw this car and contacted Caleb Smith to show it to us. He had everything ready and answered all our questions. The deal went very smooth and without any trouble. Our salesman , Caleb Smith was pleasant, respectful and well informed. I would highly recommend the dealership and Caleb Smith.

We bought a SUV for our son. It had been in a wreck but...

We bought a SUV for our son. It had been in a wreck but the salesman assured us it had been completely redone and was in great shape. Less than two years later, the paint on the hood began to peel and now there is rust showing through. We took it to a local company to get an estimate to fix but the work this dealership had done was so bad, it now costs more to fix than what the vehicle is worth. Do not buy any vehicles that they have worked on, their repair shop does horribly shoddy work.

Terrible treatment at Service

I brought my Ford Edge SUV to with Don Franklin Ford Columbia Kentucky dealer at 25000 miles after making an appointment when suddenly engine light came on. After. After inspection I was told that part under warranty which is fuel vapor Sep needed to be replaced. Since they did not have the spare part to be changed and ordered I was asked to bring my car one week later. Despite waiting more than two weeks call never came .So I called them back and asked the reason why I had not been called for part replacement. Service manager was not very friendly with me on the phone and told me that part did not arrive. I told him that I did not feel so secure with engine light on, so they should expedite the arrival. Suddenly service manager told me to bring the car 5 days later. Finally l I brought the car at 9am appointment time but unknown reason they made to wait almost extra one hour .Of course I was frustrated since waiting without knowing the reason of delay decided to ask the reason. A few minutes later after my inquiries car taken into service and brought less than half an hour. I was called to service desk to get my key the person at the desk asked me where I had bought my car. I told them that I bought it Ford Dealer in Cookeville TN so the girl told me that service manager wanted me not to bring my car there again if the car need service but bring it back where I had bought it.I was shocked . I guess it was a Ford policy to bring your car for service where ever you bought it or is it a service managers rude attitude that he did not like me when I insisted to bring my car back to service after I had already waited extra week .But under no condition I deserved that insult and bad treatment from a ford car dealer whatever their reason was. I will never replace my next car with another ford vehicle and will tell my friends if they are considering buying a ford car because of theirs dealers treatment their customer once you bought their car. This was very disappointing and upsetting experience for me and it was like a shock for me.

Ross Schambon/Dan Franklin Great to work with on GT350R

I worked with Ross Schambon directly and Dan Franklin indirectly to buy a GT350R out of state. Ross was very responsive, likeable, timely and willing to communicate meaningfully via email and text. Unlike some dealerships I had to opt out of communications from, Ross was succinct and to the point. I did not get passed around to numerous sales people who never responded to direct questions and offers. I appreciated that. I also got what I think is a very good deal on the highly sought after GT350R. While some dealers act like these cars are worth a 10-20k markup, this dealership and Dan were realistic. Look Ross up if you want a pleasant buying experience.

Good place to buy a vehicle

The service is excellent and willing to deal with you. They do not force you to make a decision or push you into something you don’t want. A great family owned business that values customer satisfaction.

Good experience

We went to look for the car on their lot as there were no pictures posted on line yet. The salesman was very nice, told us where the car was, got the keys, let us look the car over. We were not ready to buy that night. Went back three days later to buy the car. The salesman who had helped us earlier was busy with another customer and asked another salesman to help us. This young man let us take the car for a test drive and explained more of the features. We were able to negotiate a fair price and all paper work was done in less than an hour. One of the easiest cars we have ever purchased. Everyone we dealt with was nice, not pushy, and very professional.

Very good service

I had a really good experience at Don Franklin. I’m new in this country and had to wait for my SSN number. I found a car I really like and Don Franklin hold that car until I got my social. The service was perfect. Thanks again. And a special thanks to Adam!
