Took to dealership for recall repair.

Took to dealership for recall repair. Also requested oil change and state inspection. Dropped it off for service on August 21. Service rep called to ask about doing mileage maintenance. Agreed. I called at the end of the day to pay. They were concerned that it overheated on test drive and may be vapor lock. I called again within next few days as I had not heard anything. Service rep sent me pictures of radiator and suggested new one. She said they did not have one in stock and would have to see if they could get one. I was not notified that they had to wait on a backorder. The next time I called, I was told the lady didn?t know what was going on because she could not find the truck. She then called me back and said that the radiator had been on backorder and had just come in that day. She said it would be ready either Friday or Monday and the other service rep would give me a call. I still did not get a call when I called back to talk to the service rep she told me she needed to see what was going on. Overall, they had the vehicle from August 20 until September 19. Most communication was initiated by my self. I do tell the service rep the first few days that it was not a problem to not have it immediately but I think 4 weeks with little communication is not appropriate business practice.

What in all that is Holy is wrong with Crossroads Ford

What in all that is Holy is wrong with Crossroads Ford in Prince George Virginia? I have been a long time customer with them and never a complaint until recently. You can't get a straight answer on line price quote requests go unanswered and now I took my car in to the service department yesterday with an appointment! I suspect they overbooked because she asked me if it wasn't ready could I get it the next day? She also knew I needed to be picked up. She failed ti say they were closed on the weekends. So this morning when I called to see if it was ready they're closed. I had to call the sales person who poor thing got caught in my fury. SORRY DUDE! He is now having my car delivered to me. I am seriously considering going to another Ford dealership for my future needs.
