This dealership had my car for 3 months and still did not fix the problem. I know it sounds outlandish, but I have the receipts! They had it for 3 months. They called a couple times and said they could not figure out what was wrong and I could pick up the car if I wanted to. I kept pushing for them to figure out what was wrong because of safety concerns. The GM customer service advocate team was of no help. This car is completely unsafe and still has not been repaired properly. Morally I don't want to make this car somebody else's problem and put their family members at risk because of safety issues. Financially I am now stuck with a car that I know is unsafe and I don't want my daughter to drive it. So what do I do with it? Trade it in? Put somebody else's family member at risk? Let my own child drive it? This car should be scrapped. It stalls out in the middle of the freeway at full throttle. There's something terribly wrong with this car. And has been in the shop for this exact reason three times now.

Never Again Will I buy A GM Product
I have a 2018 Esclade that no longer has its clear coat. Still making payments and the vehicle looks really bad. I feel like once the make the sale no one is willing to help you. So disappointed with my Esclade and shocked that I spent $105K on a vehicle that looks like its 20years old. The vehicle I loved I do not like to even look at it. Has no resale value.

Exceptionally poor service you can't avoid
We learned soon after buying our Chevrolet Volt never to go to the Putnam dealer in Burlingame California. But we had no choice when the charger port stopped communicating with the car and we couldn't charge the battery except by driving on gas in mountain mode. No non Chevrolet auto shops can deal with the Volt software. Dropped off the car Monday 715am by appointment paid for a $450 diagnostic and heard nothing back all day. Repeated calls to them are answered by a live person but immediately routed to a full voicemail. After frustrations finally convinced the guy answering to let me talk to someone who then said we needed a $500 software update.Of course they did not start any work saying they needed our approval which they did not try to contact us to get and now it was too late in the day. Next day again heard nothing and same run around with the phone. I can hear groups of people laughing in the background before they switch me to the dreaded full voicemail box again. Two days without a car, no courtesy cars available which isn't surprising at a place with no courtesy. Basically I can't take it anymore- I'm abandoning the car and riding my bike and train to work. Hate them will never buy a car sold by Chevrolet dealership again!!! By the way I also had a failed appointment first at the dealer in Redwood City, I arrived and they said they can't do the software work (that I booked) after all on a Friday as the head office support isn't reliable on Fridays. That dealer is in the middle of nowhere and also with no courtesy cars, shuttles or transit near. User's recommendation: Avoid buying a car from Chevrolet in the California Bay Area Peninsula.

Lack of communication.
Didn?t feel my my job was handled right. Took 2 days to get my car back. Literally, I was the last customer to close for the night (6:15pm) Had to call a number of times to get the status of my car.

Didn’t Honor Deal, Wasted My Time
I visited Putnam Chevy a few days ago to look at cars for my grandparents. During the initial visit, the salesman, Franco, indicated that there was a $5000 dealer markup, though he would talk to his manager about what they could offer. Yesterday we got a written offer from a dealership in Fremont for MSRP, so I called Putnam to find out if they would match it (as they are much closer). They said they could do MS, and we indicated that we would come in the next day (today). When we arrived, the salesman, Willie, said he would do what he could to match the Fremont price. Originally, he came back with $2500 over MSRP. When I said we would not pay anything over MSRP given the Fremont quote, his manager dropped the price another $1500-ish. I walked out and called Stewart Chevy at Serramonte, which honored the pricing from Fremont. Willie is a good guy, but his manager did not honor our agreement. In addition, they offered my grandparents $1500 on their trade-in, Stewart Chevy ended up giving them $5400. I strongly recommend Stewart Chevy over Putnam. My grandparents are extremely happy with their purchase and the amount they got for the trade in.

Just recently purchased a used Buick Encore and needed to
Just recently purchased a used Buick Encore and needed to have the AC checked for a possible leak and had an additional warranty. I was shocked to see so many people working in the service department and how clean the work areas were. Anyway, Hong Nong walked me through the process of getting all the information needed and advised me depending on the issue you shouldn't have to pay for this with additional coverage. Anyway, they needed the car for about half a day, and he helped me get transportation back home. They cost more for the work to be done but I believe the work gets done right the first time and they will go out of their way to help the customer without pressure, just suggestions for work needed. Ask for Hong Nong the next time you go in. Tks Rob

100% hands down the absolute worst service I’ve ever experienced. Bought a $90,000 truck from these guys and been trying to get the windscreen fixed for 4 months. They scheduled service, brought my truck in and then they said they didn’t have the part. Here we are 4 months later, make appointment to get my brakes looked at and the windscreen fixed again. They don’t know how to install it. They’ve had it all day and said they don’t know what they’re doing. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? All day and nothing has been done and they admitted to not knowing what they are doing. Terrible place

Bait and Switch
Advertised a Cadillac SUV on Facebook for $369.00 but when I went there I got the "Sorry, we don't have that in our inventory but for the same price we can give you a Malibu", really?? Because I didn't lease the Malibu and wasn't told that I could go to a different dealership to avoid a $500 fee, GM Financial screwed my credit and now I can't refinance my house. All I asked for was options to take back to the wife, what I got was attitude.
