What happened??

Something has dramatically changed in the service department in the last 7 months! Looks like a significant turnover in staff and not for the better. Appointments are less available and service time seems to take longer.

Simon, we have research out computer systems and all other systems, and we don't have any record of you by name. We checked, body, paint, service, detail, sales, leasing, and office. I recently had to purchase a new vehicle due to mine

I recently had to purchase a new vehicle due to mine having engine problems and Dale Willey was the place I chose. I worked with Shannon, and he was very kind and helpful. My review is lower because of the service department. I had my car brought in to the dealer to look at (I’m new to the area) and was told multiple times that a part was on the way, and given expected timelines. When I finally bit the bullet, I feel that I was not told the full scope of what was going on with my old car, and that they were keeping information from me. I would rather go to a local mechanic for major fixes, then use this service department.

7/15/22 Update: I reached out to Brian and we were able to discuss this issue further. He was very kind and listened to my concerns. He assured me that if I decide to return to the dealership for service in the future, that they would work to provide me much clearer information on my vehicle, and help me to make clearer decisions going forward. Brian also mentioned that this would become a training opportunity with the staff and that they would work to improve this in the future. I trust Brian that this will happen, and I appreciated our conversation.

Customer

Went in to have air conditioning repair. Waited 4 hrs to find out I needed a part. Was offered a loner. Got my car back 2 days later. On the way home found my WiFi, Pandora and Weather Channel wasn't working. Went back a couple of days later. Waited most of the morning. Needed another part. Got called a week later part was in . Asked how long the repair would take. Would take at least half a day to a full day. I live 30 min from the dealer and have a husband with Parkinson's. Asked for a loaner. Not available. I can only be gone a few hrs at a time to be able to take care of my husband. Not sure what to do. My son can help with transportation in about 3 weeks

Dragging their feet

Traded my 2018 Toyota in on December 25, 2022. I purchased a new not yet on the lot 2022 truck. They gave me a 23,000 price on my car and went into the financial part of their dealership to complete the paperwork for my purchase. Was told my truck was going to be on their lot for me to pick up around the around the 4th of January. We’ll I’ve made a payment gotten plates and insurance and as of today 1-28-22 I still don’t have my truck even after being charged a $7,000 destination fee. I will not deal with these people again and wouldn’t suggest sending anyone to them. Each contact we have with each other never fixes the issues and am given one excuse after another. Using a friends email address to not create further conflict…I just want what I paid for

Do not trust them

bought a 3 yo used car that pasted inspection with less than 100,000 miles. 35 days later the entire engine had to be replaced due to catastrophic failure. yes the dealership "helped" on replacing it, but I still had to pay $1000 with in 2 months of buying the car. About a month later my remote start from my key fob wont work, my catalytic converter is sending engine errors, my heat wont work now, and my radiator is running low. the dealership hasn't responded to any emails I sent after the engine swap. Do NOT trust their inspections. and do NOT buy a used car from these guys. The dealership called the day I made this review on google. they pulled the same crystal ball line 3 other employees had pulled on me. the sales manager said they would have the service department call me to discuss options. a week later with no call, I took my car into a different mechanic. who found the issues and I have to pay $450 to get it fixed up. In telling the mechanic about my RECENT history of this car, he informed me that he believes the dealership did NOT do an inspection of my systems or I wouldn't have been having all the problems I have had. Moral of the story, do not trust anything from this service department/Dealership. and if an employee pulls any line about a crystal ball, just walk awake they are just reciting verbiage to avoid stuff.
