Went in for an oil change and Rosemary was very helpful with any questions I asked. Rosemary and Leon were very nice. Only complaint was the wait time hour and a half. Overall a nice place.

ATT: VETERANS.
ATT: VETERANS. Kia has a policy to give Veterans a $500 discount. This is not an incentive. I recently went to Red Rock Kia in Grand Juction, Colorado. I was going to purchase a car with cash. They read me the dealer discounts and then I brought up the military discount( they did not). I was told that I could get the military discount only if I financed the car through their bank. I know they were wrong because I was at 3 other dealerships and the military discount was a benefit with no strings attached. This really offended me and I got angry and left. So, I guess the rumors are true. This dealership has problems. Veterans stay away!!

I worked with Chad on purchasing a used Toyota Tundra.
I worked with Chad on purchasing a used Toyota Tundra. I was at the dealership for 5 hours closing on it. The truck need some work and it took over two weeks for them to complete it. And to my surprise not all items were completed and also the tire pressure light was on and I ask them to please investigate twice. In addition, we had trouble picking up the truck because of the bridge being out west of Gunnison. I ask Chad if the dealership could drop the truck off in GJ and they didn’t have the time or manpower available to take it 15 minutes up the road. At the closing, they really pushed all kinds of extra service packages and I they automatically added 3 pm services I really didn’t want since I live so far away. In addition, they had the truck priced differently on several web sites and this created confusion. Not satisfied with the purchase processs.

Phil Fry the dealership guy!!
I had the best experience yesterday at the Kia dealership! Phil Fry was "the one" who got me the best deal and put up with me all day? He wasn't only professional, personable, but very down to earth and a pleasure to be around! He didn't force me on my decision, but was very knowledgeable in every aspect so that I could make the right decision. I'm so happy with my purchase! Thanks again Kia and Phil Fry!

Horrible and dishonest service.
Horrible experience. I took my car to replace the timing belt since it was time. I asked to change oil and service it too. I picked it up, paid over $1,000. It was making strange noises and they didn't even mention the kind of oil they had used nor gave me a sticker for next change of oil, so I took it back. Then the car was dripping oil and still making noises. I realized they had overfilled it. I'm guessing they just added oil. I talked to the manager and he blamed it on the car age. My car had never leaked before. They charged me another $700 to change the top caps which they had ruined, but I could not convince them it was their doing. The manager instead wanted to sell me another car and said mine would just die. I took it home and saw that they had replaced the power steering hose for a regular hose and folded it at the turns, so the oil toward the power steering pump was not flowing fine. I then had to order the hose online. I took the car to Midas and they recommended to take it to KIA, and I said I will NEVER take it there again. The kind people at Midas changed the line for free.

Horrible - Do not waste your time
Took my daughter’s car in over 6 months ago, for them to begin a nightmare of “fixing it”. They gave it back several times for it to shake horribly and then shut down. This happened a few times with every time being told it had been “fixed”. Finally they keep the car and then we hear nothing for several days, with no answer, no call backs. Finally the GM Shane calls and tells me he is going to take it and make sure personally that it is done right and will call me with an answer. Never heard fro him again. Left several messages still nothing. Finally after having the car for a solid 4 months they call to say that the engine is fixed but now the front drive train needs to be replaced and we have to pay for it but they didn’t notice that 6 months ago. Then today state that there are 2 nails in the tires and she needs 2 new tires but just noticed that today. What is wrong with this company? DO NOT BUY or Fix your car with them. Just never buy a Kia. Horrible cars all the way around!!!

Do not go here!!!
This place is shady dishonest and lies!! Bought a car, the hatch was broke, promised to fix and never did had to fight just to get a part sent to me. Also got this car home the convertible top was broken , after fighting with them on this they refinance the car with a warranty that was promised to fix this and that was a lie, is not covered and now I’m out on a car that does not work. Will be another fight to return car or attorneys will be involved. Do not go to any red rocks!

Beware! Very shady Dealership.
Let me begin by saying I have bought 9 brand new vehicles and 5 used vehicles from dealers in the past 20 years. This was the worst experience by far and we did not even buy a vehicle!! Please go ANYWHERE else!! My wife and I went to look at a new Telluride to compare to other SUV’s. First red flag: Before we could even test drive the vehicle the salesman attempted to get us to fill out credit applications. He stated they WOULD NOT run our credit, it was just for information. We politely declined. After we finally got to test drive we said we wanted to talk general numbers. Again we were asked to fill out credit applications and were told they WOULD NOT run our credit it was just to get everything in the system and just to talk general numbers, trade in and such. (We should not have filled out the paper applications). Second red flag: After getting all our information and going to the sales manager Jose, we were presented with “the numbers” that were simply payments printed in a table on a sheet of paper, nothing else. Nothing clearly showing APR, trade in price, taxes or anything. Just payments. When I asked about % rate Jose said I ran it at the rate they had been getting. What were they trying to hide in those numbers? Third red flag: The “worry free package”. This is basically a $5-10k markup wrapped up in a lousy “battery and paint warranty”. Jose said this was non negotiable and the package couldn’t be removed. Yes, there is some market adjustments in the current vehicle situation, but not $5-$10k over MSRP. Buyer beware!!! I am pretty sure a dealer cannot force you, and state that an extra “package” on a vehicle is mandatory. A simple, reasonable, market adjustment markup, is different, but forcing a non negotiable lousy warranty, very shady!! After talking for a few minutes with Jose and not getting anywhere close to a decent deal we took our leave, thinking no big deal. Then can the biggest red flag, the next day I started getting notices that our credit had been ran and was being ran, multiple times. I called Jose back and explained my frustration and he said he did things as he had for the past 20 years. Yikes! With all those other vehicles I purchased, never once did they Not show all the detailed numbers up front out in the open. Then once a price and trade-in were settled on, and you sign intent to proceed, then they run your credit, not right out the gates after saying they would not do so. All in all a very bad experience.

Great Customer Service in the Service Department!
We live in Montrose, Colorado and while having medical appointments in Grand Junction I was involved in a fender bender, which left my car damaged, but drivable. It wasn’t until I started my trip home driving 55 MPH that I discovered the damage to the front of the car dislodged the air flow shield. I pulled into the Kia dealership hoping to get some advice on what I could do and I even suggested duct tape. Service Manager Shane came to our rescue and the amazing service department secured the loose parts damaged by the accident and had us on our way in short order. After such a stressful day the kindness and professionalism shown to us by Shane and the service department was above and beyond what I would expect to receive from a drop-in customer. My car is not a Kia. Great customer service. Thank you, Shane! Gail Marvel Montrose, CO
