Service is a joke

Honestly, we have bought 2 vehicles at Mark Porter's. We are pleased with both purchases. However, the service department is a joke. Last year, a month after I bought my truck, I had to have a collapsed lifter replaced. Warranty covered that, but it cost me $1400 to have a tune up done!!!! Ridiculous. Also, recently against my better judgement, I went in to have them look at my ANS and traction control lights warning coming on. They scanned it, and said a wheel sensor. Which I already knew. They didn't even look under the truck. I was told on a Friday I would get a call Monday to set up a time to have it fixed. Next day, I looked under the truck, the sensor wire was just hanging there, broken off. Also, two links for th stabilizer bar were broken off amd missing!! So, a week and a half later, I get a call finally. I had already given up and took it to a different, honest mechanic. My quote for everything and an oil change and rotation-$239 partially covered by my warranty Mark Porter's Service Dept. left me a voicemail with a quote for zero coverage and $504. for just the wheel sensor!! Crooks. Buy a car there, but have service done elsewhere. Crooks.

Dealership was a great place to buy a vehicle. I drive an hour and a half to get my truck serviced there when could go to a much closer GM dealer.

2016 Chevy Colorado

Mark porter pomeroy is the work shop I have ever took a car to I?ve been there 6 times in the same month for the same thing and every time I took it in it was not done right very rude

This visit went as well as every service since buying the truck. Went in for a torque converter repair. I explained that I get my son from school at 3:15, and they told me it was going to be an all day service so we're giving you a loaner anyway. Dropped off my Truck at 7:45 for an 8:00am appointment, and was handed the keys for the loaner so I can go about my day. My truck was ready about 4:30 with the new parts and washed as well!
