Took my MKZ in for service and asked the service writer

Took my MKZ in for service and asked the service writer if the part I needed was covered under my extended warranty. He told me I could call them just as well as he could, wrote down their phone number and handed it to me. He acted annoyed that I would even ask such a question. Needless to say I will pay the extra $100.00 for the off sight service at another dealer. My family and I have bought several vehicles from Northside Ford and that will end today!!!

Very poor dealership selling wrecked and totaled cars

Very poor dealership selling wrecked and totaled cars from auctions. There in very bad condition poor workmanship. there cars are unsafe Dont keep there word. They will lie to you just to make a sale Add points to the intrest rates

Dont stand behind there word bought a F350 that broke

Dont stand behind there word bought a F350 that broke down 70 miles after leaving dealer. Multiple issuses very unsafe. Said they would assist then backed out after there was a 10k repair bill. After some research looks like the truck came from a salvage auction. They claim the truck was looked over before leaving the lot.No way it was. Documented the poor unsafe condition the truck was in by the repairing dealer. Repairing dealer reported wheel could of fallen off brakes were burnt truck could of cought fire wiring cables not fastened down missing brackets Dont buy from this dealer

Dont Buy

Dont buy from these people. Bought a 2010 charger from them they lied about how much work has been done to it. Ive had nothing but problems with it. I will never buy from this place again and i will tell everyone i know not to. The sales and service staff are terrible. Now im stuck with an overpriced junk car.

Don't buy a used car here!

I will never buy a used car from Northside again. Great sales staff but the 2 cars I have purchased from them are lemons! Both had transmissions go out of them. I was told since no engine light was on nothing they could do about it! So if you do buy a used car from them have a mechanic look it over!

Shop elsewhere

Avoid at all costs. In October 2018, I bought a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee from there. The sales staff and the car buying experience all went great. However, after only having it for 5 months, the engine began overheating. I took it down for the car’s first complimentary oil change and I’m told that it needs a new oil cooler and water pump. Frustrated at the fact that I just recently purchased this car and it needed nearly $1500 in repairs this soon after really aggravated me, especially after they wouldn’t knock down the price a little more, but I understood that it’s part of the business. I get my car back, and no more than a week later it starts overheating AGAIN. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. The sales staff was great, the service staff was beyond atrocious. I will never take my car there to have work done to it again, I will never purchase a vehicle from there again, and I will encourage everyone I know to avoid North Side Ford of Effingham at all costs.
