Write a reviewI'm an idiot for trusting them.
From what I'm told at the chevy service center is that the mechanics that do the oil changes and services only know to drain the oil and fill with oil.If there happened to be some water ,an absurd amount of fuel or no oil at all in the crankcase they won't say anything. That is above their pay grade apparently. So what do they do when raising my vehicle to do an oil service and the tie rod falls out of the knuckle or they rotate my tires but don't say anything about the rear brake calipers are leaking and I blow through the next stoplight and somebody is killed .The service center doesn't seem to care.As a matter of fact when I was there last Friday pointing out the issuse at hand the service guy grinned and chuckled "you should have done a little research and not have bought a crappy car".Is this the way they treat all their customers that purchased vehicles there. They said its a great car feed all this b.s. that they want your business and xxx soon as you sign on the line they say well you bought a crappy car sorry!

Unpleasant Experience
They undercut Trade In by 4-5k and refuse to budge even when you show them proof what other dealerships in the county and adjacent counties are offering. I received my trade in value directly from their website and they still would not honor it. I asked for service, recall and warranty history on a vehicle several times. It was serviced at hoblit colusa since new. Luis kept saying oh yeah, we will get that information for you, I just have to ask my manager. Every time he would come back and force more information out of me without providing me with any of information I requested. This information was very important for determining whether or not I even wanted to move forward with the purchase. They took both keys to my trade in, and I couldn't even leave! Too busy watching football and ignoring customers to make a Sunday sale. The service center and sales staff at this place get worse every year. I have no idea how they keep their doors open after all the customers they drove away during covid due to price gouging.

In July 2021 I bought a 2015 F150 4x4 at Hoblit Motors in Colusa CA. Before I left the lot I happened to check the air filter. It was packed with dirt and weeds and seeds. They did not have any in stock (for one of the most numerous Ford trucks made) so I knocked the dirt and weeds off and put it back in. They said they would send me one - and they did - after about a month. I drove the truck for a week and found that it rode very rough on anything except the smoothest roads. They couldn’t tell me why. I also found that this truck easily lost traction and skidded sideways often - even on dry surfaces when accelerating or braking moderately. Two months and 2000 miles later the Check Engine light came on and I took it in to have it checked. The mechanic told me the problem was that the spark plugs had never been changed in over 140,000 miles and were simply burned away at the tips. After paying over $300 for finding the spark plug problem and having them replaced I happened to be near a tire dealership and went in and had them check the wheels and suspension. They told me the tires were 10 ply which is usually found on heavier rough service trucks and off road vehicles and that they did not flex as much as normal 4 ply mud and snow tires and so would give a rough and jittery ride. A set of good quality replacements will cost me over $1200. I would suggest that Hoblit is not the place to buy a car or have your vehicle serviced.

I wouldn't go anywhere else
The staff was extremely kind and helpful in both sourcing the perfect truck that we were looking for and managing the trade-in process. They were open and transparent at all stages of the buying process and wanted to make sure that we felt that we were getting a good deal on a great truck. We couldn't be happier and have already recommended the team at Hoblit Ford in Colusa to numerous friends.

They Suck
I will never buy nor let anyone buy from these cheapskates again. Won't even extend the courtesy of contacting us back so now they will get a bunch of sh** reviews. Wrong oil in my car! Won't fill gas tank! Dirty a** transmission fluid. These people suck.

Poor Customer Service
Wanted to buy same-day but not drive the hour one-way to this location without knowing if their asking price was firm. Facebook Messenger chat representative refused to say if their price was firm. Called and spoke to a kind saleswoman who took down all my info and trade-in specs to ask her manager if they could do a deal for just $600 less than their asking price but out the door. Manager told her the same thing the belligerant FB chat rep for Hoblit Dealers told me; "come-in and we'll see if the numbers work." No, I know they don't work as-is, please tell me if you'll be able to lower the price! It was one of the most frustrating customer experiences I've had; I'd say a close second to Comcast customer service, haha. Perhaps you'll find a good product and deal here; I hope you'll think twice about coming here and if not, I warned you. : )

They sold the car I was buying!
Wanted a new Jeep. Found one on the internet at Hoblit Motors. Went to Woodland on a Sunday. Tolerated the pressure and told them I liked it. They wanted me to buy right then. Told them I wanted to talk to my bank. Monday talked to bank and insurance company. All was a go. Told Hoblit. They wanted me to come in after work. They close at 7:00 and I come from 60 miles away. Told them I will be in Friday & to consider it sold. They said they'd call Thursday to confirm. They did not call Thursday. I emailed then to confirm all was well. They emailed back it was, and then shortly after to say instead they sold it. Wait, what? xxx? Yup, even though I told them I wanted it and to consider it sold, and that I was coming to get it, they sold it to someone else and then tried to bait-and-switch me into a different one with more miles and without the options I wanted. Does this make them the worst people ever? Probably not, but it means they do not care about their customers at all. They want your money right then, period. Their behavior was consistent with what I have read on other review websites. I suggest everyone consider this if you contemplate doing business with them.
