Very disappointed and won’t be back!
I was out of town and called to schedule my wife’s Acadia for service. Spoke with nice lady on phone. I usually take her vehicle in for service but since I was out of town and it really needed it i chose to have dealer pick it up and drop it off. This is a service they offer at no additional charge. The service rep said they had an opening @ 2:30, I said that would work if they were able to pick up and deliver she said that would be no problem. She asked what time my wife needed it back I said by 4:00 because she had an appointment she had to get to at 4:30. The dealership is less than a mile from my wife’s work and the rep again said that would be no problem. I let my wife know to expect someone from the dealership to be picking it up. She called me at 2:50 to see if maybe something came up because no one had been there yet to get her Acadia. I said no one had contacted me and started to call the service department. They said they sent someone and they should be there shortly. I asked again if it would be done and returned on time and again was told it wouldn’t be a problem. My next call was at 4:15 from my wife to see if the service Dept. Had called me I said no and she said they hadn’t brought back her Acadia yet. She called Max Curnow service Dept and spoke with Tim. She asked if her car was done and wanted to know when they were bringing it back. Tim told her they weren’t done and hadn’t started on it yet, again this is 15 min after it’s supposed to have been delivered back to my wife. He then said hang on, after a long pause on hold he then said it was done they just hadn’t pulled it out yet. My wife again asked when it would be brought back and Tim said in a bit she then told Tim it was supposed to be back by 4:00 and she needed it ASAP to make her appointment. He said again it would be a bit. The dealership driver brought my wife’s car back at 4:35 that’s 35 minutes late. My wife paid the driver and said something to him about the fact she was now late for her appointment he only said he wasn’t a mechanic. My wife then got into her Acadia to leave work and found there was no protective floor mat which was not normal for this dealership. She then found grease and oil on her steering wheel, radio knobs, control buttons, and floor mat. This is not the type of customer service we were used to, having done business with the previous owners for several years. My wife emailed Amanda at Max Curnow, who I first spoke with about the service to let her know about her dissatisfaction and never received so much as a response. There was also a coupon the dealer sent us for a 15% rebate and gas card for being a preferred customer. None of this was applied to the bill or discussed with my wife when the car was returned. We didn’t purchase this Acadia from this dealership but did purchase my 2015 Silverado Z71 crew cab here. That is a mistake I will not make again and will not be returning for any additional service here either.
