"the dealer who sets the benchmark for low prices on sales and service!"
My husband and I just purchased a car from Ed at Golick. I have to say that he was by far the best car salesman ever. He was honest, fair and very up... front. I would recommend Golick Motors for anyone interested in purchasing a superior reliable used car. Make sure you see Ed.
I was simply asking if a van was still available for sale
My daughter and I wanted to replace our 2006 Subaru with one that was similar, but in above average condition. We saw this 2009 Subaru Legacy on Cars.com... and was impressed. We traveled over 250 miles and bought the car the same week. Ed was a great salesperson and went over all of the details so that the purchase process was very seamless. All of the cars on the lot are in beautiful condition and reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend this dealership and say its worth the trip.
I've had several cars serviced here over many years and have never had a bad experience. The mechanics all seem to be very competent. I am particularly... impressed that there's no "hard sell" for useless services, and honest opinions on whether or not a specific repair is warranted. These are trustworthy people. I have only purchased one car here and it was also a fair and professional experience.
Purchased a Subaru Outback today!! My sales Rep was Ed Bartakovich. He was great to deal with!! Helpful and I would not hesitate to tell people what a... great experience I had. No pressure, good clean used cars. And deal with Ed!!
I needed a winter car in a hurry and happened to come across Golick Motors on the internet. They had great photos and posted the Carfax online so we knew... what we were looking at before making the trip. We called Ed and he was very personable as well as informative. He did not push for something else more expensive and paid attention to exactly what we needed. He was also very up front and honest and had the car warmed up when we got there on a very cold night. We decided to purchase the car and had noticed the interior lights did not work. We were not picking the car up until 2 days later but he said it would be repaired. When we arrived to purchase the car, Ed had all the paperwork taken care of and the lights were repaired. We were in and out in no time at all. He made the buying process quick and simple. Now I can see why this place has been in business so long. They provide great cars at a great price and service above and beyond. Word of mouth is the best advertisement and we will recommend this place to anyone that is in need.
Good experience with Golick Motors and easy to deal with. We purchased our second ATV in the last 12 months. The cleanest used cars you will find for... the age and price. I would recommend you check out their inventory online if your in the market for a used car. We also use their garage for service on the vehicles.
I attempted to purchase a vehicle and the owner would not fix a small amount of rust on the front edge of the hood. I was willing to pay the advertised... price if this were done. The sales person told me that the owner would not fix it. That's it. Can't do business with a dealer who won't make a minor repair to close a deal. Didn't even offer to reduce the price to offset the repair. Just offered me the names of bodyshops. There are many places to but used cars, and ones without visible rust that says "this will be a real problem in about a year" so one has to wonder why a small repair would not be done to close a sale (a cash sale mind you) in such a competitive industry. If the owner won't do something like this to close a sale, what will the owner do if there's a problem with the car? The impression this left me with is that the owner would fight me on it and just wants the buyer's money and is not interested in providing a quality car. I also looked at another car and had to report to the sales person that the engine missed and the car shook when the A/C was on, as well as a drain problem near the trunk as water poured into the trunk when I opened it (it rained the day before so there's a problem with a drain or weep hole somewhere). This is stuff that can't be missed. A buyer has to notice this stuff? Unbelievable. I would steer clear of this establishment.
Sorry you had a bad experience. Both of the cars you looked at were priced at less than $4000 and it's pretty difficult as a dealer to provide a flawl...ess vehicle when the vehicle is priced at $3900. We honestly would have fixed the little bit of rust on the hood to make a deal with you but we felt the fix would not have been permanent and the rust spots would have resurfaced rather quickly. If you ever want to look at another vehicle at our store-you are welcome to deal with me the owner next time instead of one of my sales people. Sorry we couldn't make a deal this time around.
i think this positive review is long overdue. I got my first car from this place. very friendly attitude, no hassle. complete transparency. they even let... us take the car to pepboys before buying !
Have visited twice while looking for a kid car. Very courteous, no pressure service. Questions answered well. Didn't buy because car we looked at was not... what the kid wanted.
