I tried to buy a car from them, but they wouldn’t discuss price unless I came to their showroom. I already had prices to compare at other dealerships on the vehicle, and planned to go with whoever could give me the best deal. But these guys claimed that if they gave me a price quote, I’d just take it to another dealer and try to use it to get a lower price there. I was sorta confused by that response; of course I might do that. Every single one of us wants to save money. We all do this with most every purchase we make, we find the lowest price we can. If I want to buy a TV, and Best Buy has the TV I want, but a competitor has it on sale for 10% less, I'll go to RC Willey every time, and vice-versa. I’m not sure why that fact offends the Wasatch Front Kia folks. I’m not eager to spend hours in a showroom while a salesman walks back and forth to his/her manager telling me “if I can knock another $100 off will you buy today”. That’s a tactic designed to wear the customer out, and I’d rather not play that game. What's more, I'm a busy guy, and could only go in after work, not long before they close so I wanted to have the deal finalized so I could get over there (I work like 3 miles away) and sign papers and drive away. In the end, I drove 1.5hrs south to get the exact same car that Wasatch Front Kia had. The dealership worked numbers with me over email like I wanted, they got me a fair price that was in-line with what my online research informed me I should try to spend, and the experience was quick and efficient. It would have been nice to only need to drive the few mins to Wasatch Front, but apparently they just didn’t want my business.

I was looking for a specific vehicle, and Arby got me into just what I was looking for. After my purchase he explained all the inside functions and had it detailed to my liking. Great experience friendly and left happy. Thank you, S.Penrod

I will never in my life buy another Kia. I didn’t only have issues with the service department but also with Kia Corporate. We were made to feel like we were lying about the issues with the car but also advised there is nothing we can do. We finally were able to get a new transmission in a 2025 brand new Sportage, if you can believe that, but this took 6 months of fight and pushing limits to get them to take us seriously. I am still waiting for something else to go wrong and have to fight again.

I would like it if it were possible to give the service department a zero-star rating. We have bought four cars from this dealership, all from Marlos. Marlos is a 10-star-rated salesperson. We trust him, and his customer service is off the charts! Now, back to the service department- rude, disrespectful, condescending, etc. We trusted them, and they failed MISERABLY!!! Through all our recalls and service maintenance, they FAILED to do an alignment on our 2024 brand new EV9. Their reasoning is that we didn't specifically ask for it (it is in their computer system and service maintenance plan to do so), and THEY knew what needed to be done! Our tires went bald at 21,000 miles. Their response: tires aren't covered. Had to call KIA customer care, who instructed them to file a warranty claim on the tires (and yes, I have email proof), and they didn't, but would happily sell me new tires for buy three get one free!!!! I called to speak to the GM, but there is still no response. It is regrettable that a place with incredibly excellent salespeople like Marlos has such a crappy service department. We have had to use Kia's customer care for basically everything.

If I could give a zero star review I would. Crappy service department. Took my car in to have my oil changed and my tires rotated. To make a long story short so I could go on forever! They said they rotated the tires and they didn't because I marked one of them and it was in the same place so I told them they took it in rotated him took my car home drove quite a few miles of her to knocking noise come to find out three lug nuts were missing and one was barely hanging on by a thread and one was tight. I drove it on the freeway that could have been catastrophic not only could it have killed me my boyfriend and my daughter but the tire could have came off and went through somebody's windshield. I went in talked to the service manager he asked me if I had the car there I said no I'm not driving the car on one lug nut so he came out to my house himself checked out the tire made sure there was no damage. He didn't see anything wrong so he put the lug nuts back on and check the other tires I told him that was negligent on his service department employees because they could have had a huge lawsuit on their hands. I told him I feel like I should be compensated in some way he offered me a tank of gas. My boyfriend emailed the service manager and he never emailed back. I would not recommend this place to anyone sales or service department

Very dishonest negotiations and poor service. All the poor reviews are accurate. They advertise one price and try and add additional costs. Worse service I have ever experienced. They actually use the poor excuse why it takes so long on corporate warranty testing requirements and parts not available. When you compare the poor reviews here and on there actual website you should be very concerned buying from this location or even a KIA.

We stumbled upon this dealership while we were shopping for a used car for our daughter. From the moment we stepped on the lot, we could tell it was different then the other dealerships we went to. Arby was very knowledgeable about everything and answered all of the questions we had. There was no rush and he was not at all pushy. Javier was great to work with as we did the paperwork to finance the car. When the car we purchased had an issue right away, they had us bring it back in and went through it to figure out what was going on and replaced some parts without charging us. They also lent our daughter a car to use while hers was in the shop. Brandon, one of the sales managers, and the other front desk gal were up front and honest about everything that was happening and worked hard to make it right so our daughter had a reliable car to drive while attending school there from out of state. They even knew her name when she came in to pick up her car, which made her feel special. I definitely recommend this dealership to anyone looking to work with an honest and friendly company.

The dealership is very very dishonest. 1st, they advertise cars at a very low price and then add $1700 on to the price for nonsense fees (on top of the delivery fees). When asked what these fees are for we were told, "because we have to make a profit somehow". Advertise the real price!! Don't advertise an artificially low price and then add on to the price under a different, ridiculous name. This is extremely dishonest. 2nd, I approached them to buy another used car that was advertised. It was advertised at a fair price, and then the add said "qualifies for $4000 EV rebate". When I asked them about it, they said the rebate was already subtracted from the price. But the ad said that it was eligible for $4000 off the price. I double checked the ad and nowhere did it say the $4000 was already included in the price. I checked with multiple other dealerships and they either clearly said the advertised price already included the rebate, or they said the $4000 would be subtracted from the price. That's how honest dealerships do business. Wasatch Front Kia is as crooked as they get!! I would never buy another car from them. And it doesn't matter how good their price is, I simply don't care. I don't want to do business with crooks.

Bait and switch pricing. They bumped up the price of the listed car "because it's certified used" so they cover it w a full warrenty- alright, I can almost understand adding 5% for that, but roll it in to the original listed price. Next was the edgeguard, pulse collision protection, and ikon services, at $1697 for the three to be added to a used car. Dude, that was already covered when the car was first sold. I dont want to enroll in those. Non negotiable. Then the salesman got all upset that we were lowballing him when we wouldnt pay those mark ups. Like- I was willing to pay the 400 doc fee, the utah property tax fee 125(even though utah doesnt charge it), but for you to be upset and claim that you'll just sell it to carmax for 2k more than the price you were offering us, lol. I mean, the car has been for sale for 5 months, good luck with that. Take your business elsewhere.

The absolute best car dealership experience at Wasatch Kia. Marlos was absolutely wonderful to work with. We showed up not knowing exactly what we were looking for but Marlos was knowledgeable and went over all of our options. We were in and out within 2.5 hours which is the least amount of time I've ever spent at a dealership and we absolutely love our new car.
