We stumbled upon this dealership while we were shopping
We stumbled upon this dealership while we were shopping for a used car for our daughter. From the moment we stepped on the lot, we could tell it was different then the other dealerships we went to. Arby was very knowledgeable about everything and answered all of the questions we had. There was no rush and he was not at all pushy. Javier was great to work with as we did the paperwork to finance the car. When the car we purchased had an issue right away, they had us bring it back in and went through it to figure out what was going on and replaced some parts without charging us. They also lent our daughter a car to use while hers was in the shop. Brandon, one of the sales managers, and the other front desk gal were up front and honest about everything that was happening and worked hard to make it right so our daughter had a reliable car to drive while attending school there from out of state. They even knew her name when she came in to pick up her car, which made her feel special. I definitely recommend this dealership to anyone looking to work with an honest and friendly company.

The dealership is very very dishonest.
The dealership is very very dishonest. 1st, they advertise cars at a very low price and then add $1700 on to the price for nonsense fees (on top of the delivery fees). When asked what these fees are for we were told, "because we have to make a profit somehow". Advertise the real price!! Don't advertise an artificially low price and then add on to the price under a different, ridiculous name. This is extremely dishonest. 2nd, I approached them to buy another used car that was advertised. It was advertised at a fair price, and then the add said "qualifies for $4000 EV rebate". When I asked them about it, they said the rebate was already subtracted from the price. But the ad said that it was eligible for $4000 off the price. I double checked the ad and nowhere did it say the $4000 was already included in the price. I checked with multiple other dealerships and they either clearly said the advertised price already included the rebate, or they said the $4000 would be subtracted from the price. That's how honest dealerships do business. Wasatch Front Kia is as crooked as they get!! I would never buy another car from them. And it doesn't matter how good their price is, I simply don't care. I don't want to do business with crooks.

Bait and switch pricing.
Bait and switch pricing. They bumped up the price of the listed car "because it's certified used" so they cover it w a full warrenty- alright, I can almost understand adding 5% for that, but roll it in to the original listed price. Next was the edgeguard, pulse collision protection, and ikon services, at $1697 for the three to be added to a used car. Dude, that was already covered when the car was first sold. I dont want to enroll in those. Non negotiable. Then the salesman got all upset that we were lowballing him when we wouldnt pay those mark ups. Like- I was willing to pay the 400 doc fee, the utah property tax fee 125(even though utah doesnt charge it), but for you to be upset and claim that you'll just sell it to carmax for 2k more than the price you were offering us, lol. I mean, the car has been for sale for 5 months, good luck with that. Take your business elsewhere.

The absolute best car dealership experience at Wasatch
The absolute best car dealership experience at Wasatch Kia. Marlos was absolutely wonderful to work with. We showed up not knowing exactly what we were looking for but Marlos was knowledgeable and went over all of our options. We were in and out within 2.5 hours which is the least amount of time I've ever spent at a dealership and we absolutely love our new car.

I'm writing this review, so someone else doesn't have the same problem we had. My daughter bought a 2023 Kia Sportage a year ago. She loved the car, until around November of 2023 She noticed a shaking in her car when she would braked. She took it in to the dealership to have them look at it. The car had 13,800 miles on it. She was told her front brakes were totally gone and her front rotors where gone too. Then they said its not under warranty and it would cost $1500 to replace both. I was fuming mad how can a brand new car have to have this much work done on it. The answer is that they put crappy cheap parts on it when she bought the brand new car. I will never purchase a Kia ever again. It was the first Kia and certainly the last. Kia and the dealership should've replaced this for free. We ended up paying around $525.00 we shouldn't of paid anything. Buyer Beware Don't by a Kia. Especially from Wasatch Front Kia. They have lost a customer forever.

Do not order a car through them.
Poor experience, I would not recommend buying or ordering a car through them. We had been looking for a Kia Carnival for a while when we received a call from the sales rep Zaira that she had access to a “rushed” order on a Carnival so we could get the exact colors we wanted quickly. I was told it’d be 6 weeks and because of this the price was increased by 4k, demand was high at the time so we were initially fine with the price. Looking back I don’t think that was ever a realistic timeline as most dealerships told us it’d be about 6 months, she didn’t respond the following couple weeks as we asked for an updated timeline that she said she’d have after submitting the order and hearing from Kia. After a month she finally called and said it had been pushed to September, I'm assuming this was the timeline all along. We had no discussions of a price reduction even with the pushed date. The car did just show up early mid August, but the demand for theses cars are not as high as they were in the spring and they won't adjust anything on price. False promise and now being price gouged if I want to move forward on the car. They say there's nothing they can do and have to keep my deposit. The deposit also seems to be double what most dealerships charge. Plenty of better Kia dealerships out there.

Long wait
Back-logged with engine replacement. One month to get in line for a diagnosis -which I strongly suggested had to do with mouse damage to hybrid battery in trunk. I’m correct. Each person I spoke with was kind. But the ability to deliver timely service seems like a systemic problem .

The salesman assigned to us at Wasatch Front Kia, Cole,
The salesman assigned to us at Wasatch Front Kia, Cole, was everything you expect from a sleazy car lot guy. He was pushy, didn't listen to what we were saying, and was condescending to my spouse, all while acting like he was our only chance for a stellar deal. And even when it came to pricing, he was very non-committal about anything. He wouldn't give me a solid number, despite my asking repeatedly, and he kept at it, even after repeatedly telling me that his sales manager was "ready to deal and move these cars off the lot." (roll eyes) He even tried the old car-lot ploy: "What do I need to do to earn your business and take this car home today?" (facepalm) Well gee, Cole, I dunnno. Maybe tell me what your best offer is the first three times I ask? Maybe stop being a clueless jerk who clearly only cares about his commission? Maybe listen to people and at least pretend that you care? We took our business elsewhere, but it says something pretty bad about Wasatch Front Kia and how they train their people. We won't be back.

I ordered a 2023 Plug in Hybrid Kia Sportage Oct 2022. I had to make $1000 non-refundable deposit. It is a model not kept in stock. I checked with other dealers and their pricing to order the car was outrageous. They required a $2500 non-refundable deposit. I worked with Kevin and the price he quoted me for the premium vehicle was delivered May 2023. He kept me posted throughout the 7-month period. The pricing did not change for the vehicle, but the additional fees I was told by Finance person, that were required by Hyundai USA such as LoJack, interior upholstery protection and exterior paint protection increased cost by an additional 1700. I was told it was not optional. I was not told to schedule to have these additional services done. When I contacted Hyundai USA, they said they do not require these services. I do enjoy my vehicle especially given it is a hard vehicle to come by and salesperson was great to work with. However, I do not appreciate the lack of transparency with the additional costs. Check for this in advance of final purchase.
