Here’s where it all began.
Here’s where it all began. March 5th purchased vehicle from this place $20,000. No floor mats, no remote control or headsets that description said was with vehicle so could not verify the entertainment packages worked. I ended up giving up on that as the electrical issue needed to be addressed and went out and purchased those things for vehicle. Told them the issues with said vehicle. Told them the evening I purchased vehicle headlights were messed up flickering. Brought said vehicle back several times (7). 1st time they replaced a headlight assembly at my cost, yes my cost after telling them before purchase of allthe water in headlight. Replaced but didn’t fix flickering. Drove said vehicle to Buffalo and back and headlights went out at night in a rain storm and would not turn back on. Happened 2 or 3 more times after….Brought vehicle back 2nd time. They replaced key fob 🙄. Still does it. So brought vehicle back for a third time. They checked wiring added some grounds. Still did it. Brought it back fourth time for two weeks and they replaced alternator. Still did it lights flickering and going out. By this time it became very dangerous and opted out driving vehicle at night. Brought back 5th time. Not sure what they did but said it was fixed again. It was not. Brought in for the 6th time then 7th time and they had an engineer come out and look at it. They replaced the TIPM. They brought said vehicle back to me and said it was fixed yet again. Nope. I decided a few days ago to go buy a really good battery for vehicle. Still does it. By this time I’m fuming and have every right to be and so is my family who I almost killed in this van. What would you do? Continue to be nice? According to one staff member there I wasn’t being hard enough. Now the owner said he will buy vehicle back but has not said this directly to me but through the service manager. Bryan the owner used service manager as messenger boy giving him my loan info, had him call me a few times and told him he will buy vehicle back but for 4-5 thousand less than I paid into it. I didn’t buy this vehicle off the service manager and Bryan had no business giving out my details of my loan info to him. That’s the finance dept job. The owner could’ve called ME as I bought the vehicle off him. I’ve been tossed around to several people over there and they have no clue what’s going on. Brandon had offered me to get out of said vehicle into another one a few months back but had nothing on lot and was going to keep an eye out at auctions and inventory. Well that got forgotten about I bet shortly after that conversation. Meanwhile they decided to throw more parts at said vehicle. Now they are mad because they invested a ton of money into vehicle and have the same outcome. I would suggest going to another dealership as there are many around and stay clear of this crap hole. Their only interest is selling you a vehicle and then go figure it out yourself. No communication there what so ever and Bryan didn’t have a clue the past 4 months of what was going on until I submitted a complaint to the BBB and State Attorney General office. Place is a joke and it shows. I’ve dealt with the general manager there also only to find out he has a rap sheet of defrauding a dealership and had I known this I would’ve stayed away indefinitely. Good thing I don’t have kids. If I had not purchased this vehicle and someone else did that had kids they would probably be even more upset than me. So if you want to purchase an incomplete unsafe vehicle then go here. Hopefully this will not happen to anyone else. If you had to use their service dept more than twice for the same problem I’d suggest going to another place. And yes I know electrical problems are harder to fix but 7 times? Everyone has a breaking point and this place just met mine.

Stay away at all costs
Selling unsafe vehicle. To much to list as to went on here but just stay away. Plenty of other dealerships around and better prices and more importantly better people. They had my vehicle several times (7)from day one and several weeks (6) and an engineer came out to look at it and still not fixed. Lights flicker and headlights go out at any given moment.

Sales experience was really good
Thank you so much for answering all of my questions honestly, and making the whole process quick. You made it not as painful as it otherwise could have been. Tim Coryea did everything on a phone call. Thanks again.

if you are burning oil now sell that jeep asap!!!! i got my jeep from here and they didn't disclose it was burning oil when i bought it or i would have picked a different car. they took over a week to get it ready for us even though we came in approved for said jeep. They were not really friendly and refused to give us the list of things they "fixed" which was why they kept it. i was only told they broke a brand new rotor while doing the breaks. but how do you break a brand new rotor, if thats the case they are buying super low quality parts and selling them as OEM. but here is my story. Before i get chewed out for this i will say i bought it used. only 95k on it. i now have it sitting the the garage because my motor is shot and it was only used for driving to work for my wife and toting the kids around to dance and basketball. its lasted 7 months. Not once was like hey, lets go off road because i know its not capable with 1.4L. i am not sure why jeep decided to pump the power in the smallest motor ever and put it into a bigger car. i personally drive a 2005 scion xb 1.5L with now 167k, and this car has been though 3 years of delivering news papers, countless raccoons, rabbits and other small animal kills and two deer which almost did it in but i saved the car. I had hit all while doing new papers, but it still runs great and gets me everywhere. whom ever at jeep said lets put a 1.4L turbo into a big car that should of had a 2.0 at minimum. Boosting a motor already adds so much stress but then add putting it into an suv, rather than the tiny fiat it should be in was terribly wrong. shame on jeep. then we are over the warranty by 3k and yet the time isn't out on it yet but i get it which ever comes first, but i definitely didn't even have the car a year and its now a 10k ball of debt around my neck i would have gave a zero but i cant, and the only thing going for the jeep was it kind of looked like a knock off Honda element. which if i took the 12k im paying for this garbage i could of had 4 of my 16 year old Toyota , i could drive a different one each week every month. shame on jeep for letting us the customer foot the bill for there terrible ideas.and shame on these guys for not disclosing it burned oil. they knew when it came in what the issue was and wanted hawk this car ASAP. P.S. we test drove a different renegade because it was in the shop being "finished up with new oil and breaks"

Better late than never!
My apologies to all for this late review. While traveling from our home state of Wyoming by RV and towing our Jeep Wrangler through Ohio/Pennsylvania on 09/18/2019, we experienced a serious problem with our Jeep suspension. It was after hours and we took the Jeep to the nearest dealer, Scheidemantle Motors. Returning the next morning (09/19), Service Advisor Reese Summersgill was extremely helpful and sympathetic to our plight. She immediately had the Jeep evaluated and after we were briefed on and shown the problem, they ordered parts and had it repaired while we continued our journey with the plan of picking the Jeep up upon our return trip five days later. The Jeep was repaired to our complete satisfaction, and when we returned home to WY, our local Jeep dealer and Firestone business commented on the appropriateness and correct repairs. I can't say enough great things about Scheidemantle Motors! Excellent customer service, quality of repair work, fair pricing, and all staff were very honest and forthcoming. Our best to Reese!
