    I asked a price of installing a hood deflector on my 2019 ranger, they told me it would take a hour to install, what a joke. Here I am trying to give business... to your shop and you want to charge a hours labor to install it, what joke. I won’t be back to you dealership. I figured you were the closet dealer to me. I would go out of my way not to have work done in Hamden.

    We regret that you were not satisfied with your visit to Bob Thomas Ford. The installation of a hood deflector, on the surface, can appear to be an ea...sy and quick process. However, inadequate preparation or failure to properly install the deflector can result in reduced durability and poor accessory functionality. We take certain steps to ensure your lasting satisfaction with our craftsmanship. The hood deflector for a 2019 Ford Ranger comes in two varieties, one requiring a thorough cleaning of the application site and an installation that can only be performed one time; failure to correctly apply the deflector the first time compromises the adhesive, and must be replaced. The second hood deflector (offered as a Ford authorized accessory) also requires sufficient preparation of the surface but also precise measurements to ensure that the deflector is centered and appropriately mounted before placing multiple one-time application adhesives. When our professionals install these accessories, they take the time to measure, clean, and apply the accessory to the specs of the manufacturer and the result is that our craftsmanship is guaranteed to match the warranty of the Ford Accessories you purchase from us.     Driver’s side door misaligned on my wife’s Lincoln MKX after dealership it was purchased from tightened a loose bolt by the hinge on the door. Took it... back to them twice to align it properly without success. Decided to try Bob Thomas. John Furino in the body shop fixed the door within 5 minutes. Very impressed and appreciated. If I’m in the market for a Ford in the future, I will be going to Bob Thomas. Thanks.

    I went to Bob Thomas Ford looking for a new car after twelve years in my Explorer. I worked with Colby who was very knowledgeable, helpful, and courteous.... Bob Thomas also met with me to welcome me to the dealership and let me know he was at my service. I expected to leave with a certified pre-owned Explorer. Colby showed me the new Flex with the eco-boost engine and I was sold. No high pressure sales, just great service.

    Tony the salesperson was delightful to work with he took his time and showed me every detail. The Numbers Guy Mr.George surprised me by not only getting... me approved but also getting me an incredible interest rate. I was so impressed my mom went to Bob Thomas 2 Days later and purchased an escape just like mine. We are now officially a ford family thanks to Bob Thomas Ford

    I bought a 2017 ford focus from Bob Thomas Ford one year ago. It began having transmission issues and I had brought it to the dealership for repair. Come... to find out, this is an ongoing issue that Ford overlooks. When I expressed my concern a member of their service team who I will leave nameless at this time, coaxed me into coming in so that they can "work with me" because they had mislead me into believing that the transmission issue had been fixed in 2017. When I got there, they did not work with me, but in fact just tried to offer me $10,000 less than MSRP on my car and $13,000 less than I paid a year ago and sell me a new car with LESS features than I have today at a higher APR rate, this making my monthly payments increase. I couldn't believe that they didn't actually try to work with me since it was their defective car! I know that I am not the only one having this issue too, if you google it, the issue is ALL over the internet loud and clear. DO NOT BUY A FORD FOCUS! PERIOD! However, if you are dead set on a Ford, I would strongly suggest hesitation in buying from Bob Thomas Ford in Hamden.

    Bob Thomas Ford recommended an unnecessary wheel alignment for my car. When asked whether the recommended alignment was necessary, Gary Shelomis, service... manager, confirmed that it was necessary and that it needed to be fixed before I could drive my car. Because of the $130 price of the alignment, I asked for second opinions from Firestone and Town Fair Tire. Both reviewed a printout of Bob Thomas Ford’s alignment measurements and advised that an alignment would not be “necessary” and that $130 would be excessive for an alignment even if it were necessary.

    First and importantly is an apology for not responding to this review which we did not receive notice of until recently. About 2 years ago the deale...rship installed a brand new, state-of-the-art alignment system and offers all customers a no charge alignment check. I can't answer for Firestone or Town Fair Tire's opinion but Bob Thomas Ford's state-of-the-art alignment equipment tested your vehicle and the results were that the vehicle needed an alignment. The competition may have been trying to compete with the dealership on price by telling you that $130 is an excessive fee for an alignment along with telling you that the alignment. The dealership is not interested in selling unnecessary alignments as the department is always very busy with service work on other customers' vehicles. Hopefully you'll come back to us in the future and give us another opportunity to you that we have your best interest in mind!

    I have been a customer of Bob Thomas ford for several years and have always been treated exceptionally! From the sales department, to parts and service... and the body shop everyone at the dealership is nothing but helpful and pleasant to work with. As an example when I purchased my last new vehicle, an F150 my husband was working and didn't have time to take delivery and pick up the truck. The staff at Bob Thomas ford offered to deliver it to my home! That's customer service! I'd recommend them to anyone in the market for a new ford or any used car. Very fair and very honest.

    Just purchased my third new car from Bob Thomas Ford. It's the only place I go for new cars. I trust them. The staff is friendly, understanding and knows... thier stuff. I was unsure what car would best suit my needs so our sales person spent most of the day letting me drive whatever car I wanted. When I settled on an Edge, Bob Thomas Ford found me a fantastic financing rate. If I have questions about my cars, the staff answers them. When my cars need service, I receive a full report of what is needed, when it is needed, and the cost. There is just no reason for me to give my business to any other dealer.

    I go to Bob Thomas Ford for all my service needs. Their expert work and advice has allowed me to stay with my Explorer for 200,000 miles. Without hesitation... I went to Bob Thomas Ford looking to replace my Explorer not knowing exactly which model I really wanted. The staff was so attentive and knowledgable they listened to how I use my cars and helped narrow down my choices. I drove 5 cars that day, both new and used. It came down to either one of the certified used cars they had or to go with a new one. In the end I chose a new Edge. The whole process was seamless from start to finish. I never felt rushed or pressured. When I asked if they could have it ready today, no problem. The car was ready by the time we finished the paperwork. Then they took the time to make sure I understood all the new Syc systems and walked me through the settings. While all this was going on, the service department was working on my 200,000 mile Explorer that I intend to turn over to my son. That too was done by days end even though I procrastinated on whether to fix it or not. I left feeling very satisfied with the whole process and love the Edge.
