My husband and I recently purchased a truck from Gene Steffy Auto Group, which required us to drive three hours to make the purchase. Before making the trip, we had several questions about the truck. The truck had some hail damage, and my husband specifically asked whether there was any paint damage, aware of the potential high costs involved in paint repairs. We were assured by the sales manager, "No, you can have the dents popped out using paintless dent repair." We bought the truck. However, a few days later, when my husband took the truck in for an estimate, we were shown a cracked dent on the roof that requires repair by an auto body shop—costing $3,000. When we contacted Gene Steffy Auto Group about this, they refused to fix the issue. The sales manager recalled the conversation and still the only solution was touch up paint. Had we known about this problem beforehand, we would never have purchased the truck. Given the necessary repairs, the truck is not worth what we paid for it. This experience has made us feel misled, frustrated, and deeply disappointed with the dishonesty and lack of accountability at this company.

I will drive to Kansas City or Sioux City or Des Moines Iowa before I will ever go back to Gene Steffey Dodge they are I have a fully loaded Jeep Grand Cherokee limited with the 57 hmm 2021 I paid full price now they want me to take a $19000 loss to trade for a new Dodge ram my car only has 12000 miles Yeah

DO NOT GO HERE. They had my fiancees car for THREE days and couldn’t find out what was wrong with her car, they also made her pay for it when it wasn’t even fixed and were VERY unprofessional. They didn’t bother to call her with updates and we had to go pick up her Jeep without knowing what was wrong with it. They are lazy, useless and will suck you for your money. GENE STEFFY SUCKS!

Truck buyer
Make sure you have a trusted auto body shop look over auto you are thinking of buying. Have a private shop inspect for you. For any work that may have been done to it. We found some stuff as we installed mud flap on truck. Looked like something had been done to box wheel wells. October 26 2019. Should’ve bought at Edwards in CB.
